Very good food and most importantly very nice view ! Amazing location for a sunset 🌇

Generally speaking, good value for money. We only ordered shawarma and tabboleh… the first was ok, and tabboleh was nice. The service was very fast, but most importantly the view is amazing. The restaurant is very spacious and we were lucky to catch sunset there!

They have delicious sea food and Lebanese mezze with beautiful view and location is next to the beach. Went there for lunch and had bizri, shrimp cocktail, hot potatoes, labneh, shanklish and fattouch salad. The fruit plate was so refreshing with mango, pineapple, kiwi and melon. Also the dessert highlight was the ashta plate with honey. The prices are very good and the location is great.

Food is not that much great.itS ok. Waitress was disappear with my changes. later cashier waiting long time and then get my change. If the expected tripping, they have to give good service.

Best Shawerma I had so far in Beirut.. both chicken and meat are amazing, as sandwiches and platters.. taste is uniquely delicious Salads, grilled chicken were also excellent.. The staff is very helpful and positive. Value for money is unbeatable

10 out of 10 service and ambiance! I will make this place a destination when I come to Jounieh from now on! You can sit on the beach while feasting on good traditional Lebanese food or seafood! Perfect way to end my year in Lebanon. Until next time!

This might not be the fanciest but the setting makes it definitely worth visiting over and over. Nothing beats eating or having a drink with ocean waves crashing at your feet. Great overall experience.

The Lebanese traditional dishes at Makhlouf are at very good prices especially the dish of the day. The shawarma is not bad but a bit salty.

I wouldnt give even 1 star.The worst ever. I havent seen more rude waiters and staff than this specially the thin man managing the waiters in the sea branch . Food Was below average. We wanted them to help find a taxi or order any lemouzine as i had elderly mother with wheel chair and my mobile ran out of charge they refused totally to help or even provide charger or help in any way . Completly unhuman and rude العاملين منتهي قلة الذوق عيب عليكم دي حتي ما اخلاق عرب مع بعض

Pros: +Place is just amazing, you can almost feel waves. +Prices aren't so high. Cons: -Service is very slow. You have to wait about 40 mins for a standard shawarma. -Personnels, specifically their managers are not friendly. When you ask to situation of your food, they don't care, and don't even look in your face. Sum: if you have plenty of time and don't care about the people, it's still a good option. But if you need friendly faces and good service I don't recommend.

Great place for a chill breakfast with a nice view, we went in and had a meal of omlettes with balilah and fool and the food was all exceptional

Makhlouf is one of my go-to places when I want to go out to eat with someone. The fact that you can sit right next to the water makes me happy. The waitstaff is extremely friendly and responsive. I find the food good and reasonably priced with decent portions, although my friends and I did get sick from eating their meat there once (after eating there like 100 times without getting sick), so be sure to ask if the meat is fresh. It's maybe not the cleanest place in the country, but they do try their best. I don't always enjoy the people around me smoking so much but it's an outdoor restaurant in Lebanon, so what can you expect? I would recommend the restaurant if you're looking for some good Lebanese food that's right on the sea.

Prices food quality atmosphere are perfect

"Makhlouf Restourant" is absolutely fantastic place. Our local friends brought us there and ever since, we did visit it every night for a late dinner. Delicious food, very kind and helpful stuff and beautiful view over the sea. I am looking forward to visit it again, during my next trip in Lebanon.

Great value for your money! Excellent prices and quality with great service. The view is spectacular right next the beach.

We had lunch and ordered a Greek salad, we got a green salad without tomatoes and olives, the waiter was brutal and said that’s how we make a greek salad, he was impolite and arrogant then he proposed to add tomatoes and olives and we got this! All the waiters are arrogant and treating clients as of they were trash.worse service and atmosphere I have ever seen!
