Probably the best pub in Dublin. 10 years ago I was studying abroad here and left my backpack with my laptop and three thousand dollars in the pub. I went back the next morning and they opened the bar early to give it to me. Chalk it up to stupid youth but I’ll never forget that. Just went tonight and it looks the same as it did then. A traditional place with great Guinness.

One of the best pints of Guinness you will get in Dublin. Noel behind the bar is a legend! If you are visiting Dublin get your self into this gem!

Hands down, this pub serves the best Guinness in the world! The perfect pour, the velvety texture, and the remarkable flavor make it a true beer lover's paradise. It's an experience like no other, and I would travel far and wide just to enjoy this exceptional pint. If you're a Guinness fan, this place is an absolute must-visit! 🌍🍺🏆

A lively pub to stop in for a pint! We were told they had the best Guinness around, don't know if that's true, but we had a fun stop :)

Wonderful historical pub in Temple Bar. If you visit Dublin it's mandatory to come here at least for one pint of Guinness after dinner. The atmosphere is unbelievable, so crowded but in the meantime so comfortable and nice. There's an invasion of people that causes the street to be closed to traffic... Absolutely a plus! Lovely place.

Great traditional pub. A good mix of locals and tourists. From what I can remember there's no music played but just the great sound of people talking and chatting. This is a perfect example of a great traditional Irish pub. Go here for a pint of Guinness and step back in time.

Great, quiet pub on the corner of Poolbeg and Tara. There is some construction across the street, but they are open. Great pint of Guinness. Made my first gaf and grabbed my pint before it settled. Still my first day and I'm learning. Cabbie recommended this pub and I'm not disappointed.

Mulligan's is said to be one of the oldest licenced pub in Dublin downtown and also essential stop on Bloomsday... yes that particular event based on a thick book no one ever read... Kidding ;-) Anyway this traditional pub has superb atmosphere and perhaps the finest Guinnes at all! And that means something to me.. Overcrowded on weekends nights.

(Translated by Google) Characteristic Irish pub, with a wide choice of draft and bottled beers. Captivating dishes. Must try if you are in Dublin. (Original) Caratteristico pub irlandese, con ampia scelta di birre alla spina e in bottiglia. Accattivanti le pietanze. Da provare se sei a Dublino.

Absolutely dope! All of the people in this bar was so kind. I think I'll come back to Ireland again because of this bar. Thanks to all of the kind dubliners who made my precious memories!

Is there a better of Guinness??? This is definitely top 5 I’ve ever had. The experience in the bar has changed dramatically since covid but the pint remains perfect

Valid cert required to access which is reassuring. Old world charm with brisk but professional staff. Noisy but full of atmosphere. Make sure to sample the stout. Great spot for afternoon break from shopping.

Quite simply one of the best bars in Dublin. Great to revisit it post lockdown. It hasn't lost any of it's charm or character and the staff and clientele are as friendly as ever. Simply a great place to spend time in wonderful company and great surroundings. A must visit when you next find yourself in Dublin City centre.

A nice traditional irish pub. There is no place outside but they asked for our green passes to access the indoor space. The Guinness was super.

Institution in Dublin. Best Guinness and you have the vintage kitchen next door where u can bring ur drinks from the bar! Book months in advance though.. the kitchen not Mulligans!

I am first to admit that i am fussy about Guinness, but if you find a pub with a better pint than here, tell me. Lovely welcome from Noel the barman, great service, prices reasonable for a capital city. Noel refused to give us directions to the tram. Walked us there instead. 6 out of 5.

Great pub in the past and even now if you go in on a quiet night but if its busy the Guinness and service are shocking. Went in last Saturday and the pints were fowl and after dropping 52 euro between 4 in less than 60 mins got asked if we still wanted the table as our second round was nearly empty.

Great little pub. Bit out of the way of the Temple Bar area. It has lots of atmosphere and fantastic for a pint or two of Guinness. There are no televisions on or music. It's great for a traditional yarn and a beer with friends or make new ones. Definitely worth the effort.

superb place. just the old typical one, with football fans and great beer serving. One of the best if not the best pub I've visited in Dublin

J Mulligan. Been here many, many times over 30 years. A good old pint of Guinness. A Dublin pub with a good history. Any Guinness drinker worth their salt should go for a pint in here at some point when in Dublin.

A bit more divey then other pubs but still traditional. Smaller selection of whiskey but plenty of beer taps and even had Beamish (Guiness of Cork).

This place was ok. A bit crowded while I was there and there wad no music playing in the background which was odd. Traditional Irish beers on tap as well as coors light if you're looking for an American beer.

  • 4/5 Tony C. 1 year ago on Google
Always a good crowd, decent pint and a bit of history, no nonsense pub where conversation and pints are the order of the day.

  • 5/5 Emilee D. 1 year ago on Google
Lovely pub, great atmosphere. I had marked it as a place I wanted to go when we visited Dublin, as the reviews said that it was not packed with tourists like Temple Bar. We ended up there by accident, when we were looking for a quiet place to sit for an hour before our bus to Wexford. Between 2-3pm that's exactly what it was, a quiet place! The Guinness was amazing. Definitely recommend this pub and I hope to go back and spend an evening someday.

It is stíll hard to beat Mulligan's Pub for Guinness, Craic and Atmosphere!! I am not in any way biased, even if I am a Mulligan myself!! 😉. Spent many a Friday here in the 80's after work in Hawkins House (now knocked). The good old days!! 😁

  • 4/5 Joanna S. 1 year ago on Google
Really liked this bar. Was bif surprised when i entered the door to see it was really busy as its down a side street and doesn't draw your attention too much from the outside. It's not that big a space. The vibe was lively, with a great customer diversity. The pints were delicious. Recommended for a good Guinness. Service is prompt and floor staff are attentive to clearing finished items.

Only 150 metres off the main tourist road and this little gem is hidden in the back street.....lovely little Inn full of locals and not a tourist in sight. One of the best pint of Guinness poured in Dublin.... Just don't tell anyone else about it 😏👍

Great pub and a perfect pint of Guinness. They did upgrade the creaky old tables since I was last there however it's still a classic.

  • 5/5 Stuart S. 2 years ago on Google
One of the best pints of Guinness you will get in the city, and by default the planet. So smooth it will go down like water, the bar staff likely have centuries of combined experience. No music, no TVs, plenty of different rooms with different atmospheres so you'll always find the spot you need.

  • 5/5 ROBERT M. 4 years ago on Google
Everyone who visits Dublin has to visit Mulligans. It doesn't get any more Irish than this. The decor, the atmosphere even when it's empty is palpable. It's like going back in time. And that's definitely true when the barman is a traditional mature Dub who seems to know something about everything and shares this knowledge with everybody.

👍👍 Fantastic indoor entertainment venue in Dublin that holds up to 13,000 people. It's really well marshalled and queueing is kept to a minimum for drinks, food, merchandise and toilets. If you find the ground floor queues start to grow, just go upstairs for smaller queues. There's great sound and visi...
