Wonderful, wonderful time spent in the Guinness building! History with fun, good organization and excellent set up. The pint of Guinness in the gravity bar is so worth it! The view is phenomenal and the beer is so fresh and smooth! They have a parking that is only for Guinness guests and it is only a block from the building - so convenient! Highly recommend getting tickets in advance and getting there at least 10 mins before the tour start as there are lines forming. We had fun!

Absolutely brilliant brewery experience. There was 7 floors of interactive facts about Guinness. There was even a free tasting room where a tour guide would describe the different tastes and aromas that Guinness gives. They had a lovely cafe which serves good coffee and food at very reasonable prices too. They also had a well stocked gift shop. The rooftop bar at the top is phenomenal and you get some great views of the city too. Would really recommend this brilliant place. I spent 2hours there but you could easily spend longer.

Iconic museum describing the 250+ year history of the Guinness brewing company. Each of the 7 floors describe different aspect of the company like the brewing process (ingredients, process), the packaging & delivery (cask making, shipping by barge train or boat, horse carriages), advertising, company management through the centuries, etc. It is possible to rent audio guides or use your own smart phone to load an audio clip from the QR code located at each station. The top floor is a bar with a 360 degree view of Dublin. Most entrance ticket will include a drink at that bar. There is also a coffee shop and several restaurants, some requiring reservation. We arrived at 10 am and made it to the bar at 11:30, and lunch at noon. By 1 pm the place is packed so it is best to arrive early to enjoy the museum and get a nice spot at the bar.

Factory tour was very entertaining and there were many machines to touch and excited colors and views. The beer is not very good but that is just my personal preference, the tour is also self guided and ends with a giant gift shop. There is also a cafe and the gravity bar on the top floor. Very fun for families or students.

I loved the industrial atmosphere of the area but I thought that I would actually see a part of the real working factoring and not only the colorful museum in the old disused factory. Also the description of the beer-making process was very simplified and not much interesting, for me. I really enjoyed the gravity bar but I think that 22€ per person is way too much for the whole experience.

A lovely classic experience. I would have loved to have a larger tasting sample. I did really enjoy the isolation of the aromas in the tasting room. I loved the unique facts that make Guinness so special- 232 Celsius. There was a lot of people which sometimes made viewing the museum and information section a bit of a challenge. It is a very well visited establishment so that can’t be helped. The store/gift shop is almost an entire mall in of itself. They have soooo many things! The gravity bar at the top is a must see! Absolutely stunning. I loved growing Dublin from that view! I was able to try Guinness for the first time and gain such an appreciation for the beer. I’d recommend getting tickets in advance.

Had my doubts if I should visit this place. After going there.... Do yourself a favor and do this if you re in Dublin!! It was a fantastic experience and the view from the bar was the cherry on the cake. What an absolute amazing experience, learning experience. And you get to taste the beer, there's a. Massive store (that is not that expensive as one would expect). Worth a trip here.

Add to your tourist stop list when visiting Dublin. Allow time to read and visit all the stops as there is a lot of history of 7 floors to visit. Ending off at the sky bar affords the opportunity for a fresh pint (best place on the planet to have one) with views of the city.

Nice tour, walking from the ground floor to the top of the building. Audio tour is pretty pointless. At least how it is done. However, explanatory panels are good. At the end of the visit you can taste a good Guinness in the Gravity bar. Wonderful experience!

Great self guided tour with entertaining live music and Irish dancing. No rushing, you can pace through the venue at your own leisure. An excellent tasting experience of how to consume Guinness in the correct way of how to extract all the flavours the beer offers. All staff were very friendly and informative. There's a beautiful view of dublin city from the top floor. Plenty of toilets and step free access via lifts available Well worth checking out during a visit to Dublin.

It was a really good experience! We were welcomed by musicians (amazing cover Happy). I gathered some interesting Guinness beer facts. Despite of crowded Galaxy Bar (it was Saturday), we had wonderful time there. Good amount of Guinness beer and Apa (you can choose another one). I highly recommend this place during visit in Dublin.

An absolute must-do when visiting Dublin. Every part of this adventure is worthwhile and memorable. The building itself is on such a massive scale that it is awe inspiring. The design is also incredible; from the shape and sight lines of the central tower, to the layout of the visitor walkways. There is so much to see and the experience covers multiple angles of inquiry. You will learn about the ingredients and the economic scale of the product, the history of the Guinness family’s impact on Dublin and the world, the industries of producing, packaging, and transporting the black stuff, and honestly so much more. The tour is highly interactive and there is a fantastic level dedicated to old advertising that I particularly loved. You will also get the chance to enjoy a perfect pint in one of the many great bars. This is one of the best tours to take in Dublin and is loved by locals ad well as visitors. I spent about four hours here so do plan to get there early and take the time to enjoy it.

A must-visit when in Dublin. Buy tickets in advance by internet. The tour is highly engaging and interactive. You'll learn a lot about Guinness's fascinating history and how it evolved into this renowned beer brand, known for its exceptional quality and flavor. I particularly enjoyed the part where you get to smell some of Guinness's ingredients and learn the best way to appreciate all that the beer has to offer. At the end of the tour, you'll get the chance to savor a pint of Guinness in the Gravity Bar, boasting a fantastic view of Dublin from the building's top.

Visiting the Guiness Storehouse was a 4hr day filled with so much to feast the eyes! The experience is really one of a kind (even better than the Heineken if you’ve ever been) We did the whole tour, had lunch at one of the 2 restaurants there (1837) and had amazing food! Last and unmissable stop: the 360 sunset rooftop bar

A fantastic experience, very informative, very time consuming but enjoyable. So much information to take in about Guiness that you would’ve never known. We went on a Saturday and was very busy on the top floor bar. A must see attraction when visiting Dublin, even if you don’t like Guinness ! Highly recommend. It’s within walking distance to the town centre.

Really enjoyable experience and definitely something worth considering whilst in Dublin even if you’re not a fan of beer or Guinness. Fairly easy to get to on foot, once in there are a few interactive games and photoshoots you can take part in. It is a self guided tour so you are free to stroll along and read as much or as little as you like. At a certain point you are given a small taster of Guinness with a short talk. Post this you have the opportunity to go to the sky bar which boats great views over Dublin and claim a Guinness. This area can get quite busy but it’s a great experience. Would recommend to all tourists / locals / any beer or stout lovers!

Visited here on a quick trip to Dublin and thoroughly enjoyed it. After visiting the Heineken Brewery a few years ago decided that it would be good to see the Guinness Storehouse whilst here. Very similar experience with many different aspects of the history of brewing the Black Stuff covered. Plus you get a pint at the end of your tour in the Infinity Bar which has amazing views of Dublin. If you're interested in the brewery's history or just like a good Guiness and want to know more about how it's made this is definitely worth a stop.

Visited with teenage family, a fabulous visit experience from the start. Informative and interesting self tour which is very nicely done. Great shop and the free pint of Guinness in the Gravity Bar at the end of the tour was the icing on the cake. Bought tickets online in advance which was a good move. Highly recommend attraction in Dublin.

A good place to spend a few hours getting to know how beer is made and also learn some history along the way. A lot of interesting to see, smell, touch. It's really immersive and at the end you get a splendid view of Dublin while having a drink. Absolutely worth it.

What a great experience! It's our first time to visit Dublin, and Guinness Storehouse tour is a must. We got the self-guided tour and access to Gravity Bar. Very informative and interesting. It got better when a drummer and tap dancers performed when we were enjoying our Guinness at Gravity Bar and a group of musicians performed with their trumpets and and trombones while we were shopping at the gift shop. I highly recommend the tour and will definitely come back!

It was such an outstanding experience! A 7-floor building, with different things on each floor. They dive into very specific details about how the beer is made and what's the history behind the invention of it. Such an interesting tour with great guides who teach you how to taste a beer and (if you go for the Guinness academy) how to pour it into a glass professionally, which was a very enjoyable experience! The experience at the end at the gravity bar was absolutely fantastic, with a very friendly crew of bartenders. If you're visiting Dublin, I highly recommend going there!

The Guinness Storehouse in Ireland is a fascinating tourist attraction. It’s officially the most popular spot in Dublin, drawing over twenty million visitors since its opening in 2000. Let me give you a taste of what awaits you at this iconic destination: Location: The Guinness Storehouse is situated at St. James’s Gate Brewery in Dublin, is a historic site where Guinness beer has been brewed for centuries. explore the Storehouse, you’ll delve into the fascinating history of beer. Each floor offers something unique: Ground Floor: Introduces the beer’s four ingredients—water, barley, hops, and yeast—and celebrates the brewery’s founder, Arthur Guinness. Other Floors: Showcase the captivating history of Guinness advertising and feature an interactive exhibit on responsible drinking. Seventh Floor (Gravity Bar): Here, you can enjoy breathtaking views of Dublin while sipping on a complimentary pint of Guinness included in your admission price. Beer is great there. A must visit if anyone visiting Dublin 😍

Our visit to the Guinness Storehouse in Dublin was an unforgettable experience that seamlessly blended history, education, and enjoyment. The vintage equipment and machinery showcased throughout the factory provided a fascinating glimpse into the rich heritage of Guinness brewing. Taking the beer-pouring class added a hands-on element to our tour, making us appreciate the artistry behind creating the perfect pint of Guinness. The personalized touch of having our pictures imprinted on the foam was a delightful and unique memento, making the experience even more special. Culminating our visit in the Gravity Bar was the cherry on top. The panoramic 360-degree view of Dublin was breathtaking, offering a picturesque backdrop to savor our freshly poured Guinness. The bar's ambiance and design complemented the overall experience, creating a perfect conclusion to our journey through the world of Guinness. The Guinness Storehouse manages to blend tradition and innovation seamlessly, making it a must-visit destination for anyone seeking a comprehensive and enjoyable brewery tour. Highly recommended for both beer enthusiasts.

I first visited The Guinness store house in November with my brother and we had such a lovely day that I revisited today with my son. He is 17 and has special needs so I was a bit worried about how it would go for him. We had an absolutely amazing day. He really enjoyed all the displays and lights, it is such a fantastic sensory experience. Our best experience by far though was every single staff member we encountered. Everyone went above and beyond to help us and make sure we had the best time possible. When we visited the gravity bar he sat on the floor, it was quite busy and he was a bit over whelmed. The staff immediately identified this situation and found us a table. They checked several times to make sure we were ok and if we needed drinks. I wish I knew these gentlemens names because they really were fantastic. We then visited the 1837 restaurant were we had a lovely meal and again the staff went above and beyond to make sure we had a happy and comfortable experience. The food was top quality too. Highly recommend this day out to anyone and again thank you to everyone we encountered today.

Well organized and informative museum to the history, drinks and advertising of Guinness. Currently operating at lower capacity and with refreshments reduced to outdoor drinks but I've visited previously and the food was excellent then. Not sure the processes are perfect for social distancing yet (perfectly OK if you're sensible) but gathering people together in foyer (instead of gradually allowing staggered entry) and then for taste experience undoes some of the intention. Well worth a visit any which way you look at it.

Guinness Storehouse was one of the best experiences and tours that we have done. We thoroughly enjoyed listening to the audios tours that were available on every level. The visual and sensual experience was fascinating. To top it all off, we had the long awaited pint with our face on it and were helped by Kevin. Kevin could not do enough for us! He answered every single question we had, so thoroughly, and intrigued us with his over flowing knowledge about Guinness. He made our day out just that much better and we want to say a massive thank you!

Lovely experience. You review all the process of creating a Guinness. From the ingredients to the marketing campaigns in the past. During Covid you have to choose to take a beer in the yard downstairs or the rooftop bar. It is obvious you need to go to the rooftop despite the 4€ extra. It has incredible views. And if you can make it match with the sunset, even better. You learn how to drink a Guinness properly and it tastes way better

I love the Guinness storehouse. It is quite an experience, full of history and the Guinness is delicous. I visited in 2014 and 2018. I am from Galway and anytime I go home to Ireland for a visit I enjoy a nice day in Dublin and always pay a visit to the Guinness store house. It is a must do on your list of things to do in Ireland. Although there are probably some restrictions right now due to Covid it is definetly worth a visit. I would definetly plan ahead and if you can book any kind of tour or experience right now, do it. It will be totally worth it. The photos I posted are courtesy of Sharon Long Photos, a talented local photographer. #visitireland #discoverireland #Dublin #Guinness #guinnessstorehouse #stjamesgate #perfectpint

It was a very nice experience! We loved the museum and the store (fair prices, normally these places are super expensive). The bar at the end is comfortable and the crew is nice. I only think that the price is a little bit high, but we can understand. In general, worth going!

Awesome experience. Around every corner a little bit of history. The Gravity Bar is a must and Arthurs is a great place for lunch or mid day meal. Loved everything here as we spent about 3-4 hours roaming around. My only wish was to have seen some of the lines running and the employees in action!!

The Guinness Storehouse is a very interesting and amusing activity to have if you are in Dublin. During your visit you will learn about Guinness 250 year old history, which will bring you through different times of the brewery. You will also learn about the brewing techniques used to make such a unique taste of Guinness beer. In the end of the tour you have a great opportunity to have a pint of Guiness at the Gravity bar enjoy the view of Dublin. There is also a boutique where you can find lots of different souvenirs, however I must warn you that they are more expensive than in the other gift shops around Dublin.

Definitely buy your tickets in advance, even if that's just as you are walking over to the brewery to avoid having to stand outside and do that with everyone else. The tour itself is pretty long and informative. You will gradually ascend the building along the way. We did not add any extras to the experience and thought the tour was fine without them. Getting your pint at the rooftop bar can be a bit of a challenge, as was trying to find a seat afterward.

I had an amazing time here on vacation. If you're going to Dublin, whether you're a local or a tourist, this is a wonderful experience. You'll learn all about the Guinness history and see some of their advertisements which are cool to see. I highly recommend going here with a tour guide to get the full experience. And you have to get yourself the perfect pint of Guinness while you're here! Slán!

Fun & educational experience. Tour reminded me a bit of The Chocolate Factory @ Hershey Park. I presume it is designed this way to handle the flow of people. Great views of the city on the top floor. Staff were very friendly. Hand a wonderful lunch with a great view.

Probably the top thing to do in Dublin, the Guinness Storehouse is where it's namesake beer is produced. I'd definitely recommend buying your ticket in advance to get a time you want. There are a couple of options to choose from, including the Stoutie, which allows you to get a pint with your picture on top. The tour itself is self guided and you can wander through at your own leisure. There is lots of walking and some stairs involved. Towards the top is the free pint with a view overlooking Dublin. It's the highlight of course. At the bottom is a massive gift shop with anything Guinness related stuff you can imagine. Definitely a must even if not a big beer fan.

Going to Dublin and visit Guinness Storehouse is a must, but I have to say that I didn't find it special. Place is huge and you don't have a good idea of the flow that you have to follow. Worth a visit only for gravity bar at last floor with a very beautiful view of the city. Buy the tickets online.

It was voted #1 Tourist Attraction in Europe in 2023 for a reason! As a Guinness drinker from the day I could legally drink, I always wanted to experience this place and pour my own Guinness. Spend a day in Guinness paradise with 7 levels of Guinness exploration and fun. If you are into Guinness – like REALLY into Guinness, I'd recommend the 3 hour "Connoisseur" experience. You'll love every bit of it. Otherwise, make sure you at least pour your very own Guinness: it is so satisfying! I spent about 6 hours here. Great views over Dublin from the Gravity Bar on level 7. The Guinness Store on ground level is brilliant! There are a number of dining options inside. Keep that stomach lined, for many Guinness will be consumed. What A Day!

  • 5/5 Chris R. 6 months ago on Google
Such an informative tour, we had a nice time! Kudos to Guinness for having a multi story multimedia experience of their story. We enjoyed the opportunity to learn how to taste and smell the various elements that are in Guinness, and then, of course, at the end of the tour you get a pint of Guinness. We enjoyed the media room, or maybe it was a movie room, but it was a ongoing clip of all their commercials, very entertaining !

This is a must for any visitor to Dublin and an absolute must for any fan of Guinness. Interesting, self guided tour with audio guide available through your phone. • 5/5 Sylvia Y. 4 months ago on Google
Just enough content about the storehouse history, the cooperage craft, beer making and ingredients. If you pay attention to the short films and interactive screens and don't skip the short text labels, it is even extensive amount of content. People saying it is money for nothing probably haven't been to Heineken Experience in Amsterdam where you really get nothing. Guinness Storehouse is totally worth it and you can spend some entertaining few hours (or a day) to fully immerse yourself in it. With a cafe to grab a snack and a warm drink just in the middle of the tour and various dining and drinking places to choose from at the end of it, you can't possibly ask for more to enjoy your day inside. After all, if you spend some money for an experience and rush it while complaining, whose fault is that?

we thought we were late for the Guinness tour, but then we realize that it was actually a self guided tour. Once you step in to the entrance, you will come across an audio tour that will help you with the introductory of the Guinness storehouse. It was actually a really fun experience because we got to try out a couple of pints and even take pictures of ourselves and print it on the pint. We then went to a small tour that took only 10 minutes for the wait time and then eventually we went into this white room, and got shots of different flavours of the Guinness pint overall amazing experience, and I would love to go again.

My young teenage son and I did the tour and it was a delight, they have something to see for everyone, including kids. There are many levels with tons of knowledge on each level. I participated in making my own pint and enjoyed it, got a certificate as well with that. There was no wait lines when we went (on a Tuesday, midday). We bought our tickets online, the day of, but if going on a weekend might want to book further ahead. The workers are very friendly and will make you love your time at Guinness.

I was here 10 years ago and it has changed a bit but it has become even better! Several levels of learning about the process and passion they have for making Guinness and then getting to learn how to pour the perfect pint, drink it and then have another on their panoramic bar on the top floor looking at the city! Definitely a must try!

The Guinness Storehouse is one of the quintessential stops when in Dublin, especially for the first time. We purchased tickets in advance online and we’re promptly let in at our designated time. You can freely explore all the floors at your own pace. Plenty of interesting exhibits and videos. It was busy while we were there (late afternoon on a Wednesday), but the whole facility is very spacious and so crowding was never an issue. We chose the “stoutie” tour option which let us get our picture on the head of a Guinness pour (included with tour). So cool and worth the price of admission alone! You also get another Guinness at the rooftop bar which has 360 degree views of the city.

Very nice to visit a piece of history but also a current attraction, especially for beer lovers. It is worth visiting this place for history and to taste a pint of Guinness at the Gravity Bar, the highest restaurant in Ireland and also with a great view of the entire Dublin city.

Absolutely fantastic experience. I've wanted to visit this venue for many years and it did not disappoint. Detailed backstory, went through the production process, even the history of its world-renowned advertising. Brilliant gift shop, and after all the walking around the included pint went down very well. Highly recommended.

At first o wasn’t impressed with the beginning of the tour but wow my mind changed they had loads of information of how they make their world famous beer. Let’s just say Guinness is my favorite beer now lol. Seeing the history and process of how the beer is made helped me understand why this beer is so loved here in Dublin and around the world. The Guinness storehouse was one of my favorite highlights in Dublin. Very very kind staff as I ride the lift with other people a staff joined us and was just so cheerful asking us how the tour was going. He really made us feel at home here. Once your at the top with your free drink the views are amazing !! Make sure you arrive at your time slot this place gets super busy I was late because I missed the bus but they were still nice enough to let me in. You have to go here if your in Dublin .

Detailed and interactive exhibition. Very themed around Guinness and prices can be reasonable with tickets and inside trinkets. Interesting and fun time with others. Not much interaction with workers. Very direct and to the point but not much communication with people and the exhibition. Wheelchair accessible available.

Even if it can be a bit expensive, we had a wonderful experience! The aesthetics of the tour are very nice and the history is enjoyable. Very recommended for beer lovers... ESPECIALLY THE GRAVITY BAR!! It's views at night are amazing and having a beer there is totally worth it! :)

👍👍 Fantastic indoor entertainment venue in Dublin that holds up to 13,000 people. It's really well marshalled and queueing is kept to a minimum for drinks, food, merchandise and toilets.
