Providing amazing customer service and delicious food, sticking true to the label of "premium Pakistani" in flavour and the choice of dishes on menu. Definitely the best beef nihari that I have tasted in years in Melbourne! Peshawari karahi bursting with that local Peshawari flavour and the tender, juicy kebabs with bbq rice are a must try. Friendly and respectful staff...chef fakhar is an expert when it comes to food...very knowledgeable and humble.

The juiciest BBQ I’ve ever had in Australia, No wonder that they take their time to serve the best. Will definitely vote this Resturant as one of the Authentic Pakistani Cuisine. Chef is an Artist though. Advice to new customers, Let them take their time as the more you gonna wait, the better it’s getting inside the house :))

Where do I start?! Aroma Restaurant is one of Melbourne’s best kept secrets when it comes to authentic Pakistani food. The food is absolutely amazing. Fresh and cooked to order. Nothing is sitting in pots waiting to be ordered and you can taste this in every bite. We started with Charsi Karahi which was cooked to perfection with just the right amount of spice. For mains, we had Malai chicken boti and Mutton bbq masala together ofcourse with Garlic and butter naan breads. These dishes are so different to eachother and so different to what is more commonly known as an ‘Indian curry’. Make no mistake - Pakistani food is not the same as Indian food and if you really want to taste each and every spice, then Aroma Restaurant is your place to go! The food is only part of the experience. The dining experience itself feels like a home cooked meal where you are made to feel like a personal guest in a close friends house. Do yourself a favor and go to Aroma!

The kitchen had closed by the time we got to the restaurant. However, the chef (owner) came out himself and said he would make an exception. We really wanted the Peshawari Karhai so he said he could make it but we would have to wait 40 minutes for it. The wait was totally worth it! The Karhai and the BBQ was amazing! It reminded me of food back home in Karachi. The owner came and told us about the food, the ingredients and his plans for the future. We ended up sitting there for 3 hours and it was a truly memorable experience. I would highly recommend the food here!

"Aroma - The Premium Pakistani Restaurant." "I recently dined at Aroma - The Premium Pakistani Restaurant and overall, it was a delightful experience. The food was undeniably delicious, with great staff who were attentive and friendly. The aroma of the dishes was inviting, and I found it to be a good value for the money. The barbecue options were a particular highlight, and the platters were simply awesome. However, I must note that the restaurant's interior, while decent, could use some improvements to match the premium feel they aim for. Additionally, it would be great to see more professionalism in the staff's clothing. These minor tweaks would enhance the overall dining experience. Despite these points, I would still recommend Aroma for its fantastic food and warm hospitality."

Fantastic place to eat desi food. Tastes better than any where else I've eaten. We ordered Shahi daal, mix sabzi and chiken karahi. It was all made to perfection. The food was a bit delayed but otherwise everything was great! Our server ( Wahab) was very quick! Made sure everyone had everything ! Kept sanitizing the place and attending other customers. Good food good service.

Best desi food 🥘 I have ever eaten in Australia so far. I was visiting from Sydney and I had a dinner here. Must try item is- Chicken Tikka Biryani. Talked with the Chef/Owner of the restaurant and he is a amazing person too. If I visit Melbourne again, I will visit this place too.

The food is amazing and extraordinary and nothing like any other Pakistani or Indian food I had before. It was best of the best. The service is good and the waiter is polite and nice but they should have a quick response to clean up the tables after the diners are done. The place is relatively small and the number of tables are limited but still many people are coming to dine in. The prices are reasonable giving that the portion of food for a main dish is sufficient for TWO. I would give 5 stars for the food but I am giving 4 start for the overall experience. I will definitely come back again.

Incredible food. I have been coming to this place since it has been open, and I can’t get enough. Make sure to try their karahis, truly authentic and delicious. The best Pakistani food you will find anywhere outside of Pakistan itself. The service is also top-notch and the staff is very friendly and warm.

One of the most Authentic Pakistani street style BBQ. Simply one of the best BBQ in melbourne. Chicken Biryani is very good. It's a small place but one of the hidden gem. It opens after 5 which is a blessing because you can always find parking in evening time in Victory Parking down in same plaza. The prices are very reasonable. Last but not least Aroma have really very good staff. Very polite and knowledgeable about food. I wish i can give them more stars.

Excellent Pakistani food in the heart of the Melbourne CBD! Our lovely server was friendly and so warm and welcoming. The food had a real taste of home, and we ate way more than we normally do! Fortunately, the servings are large, so we will still enjoy the cuisine at home tomorrow! Thank you, Aroma!

The food is very nice specially the black pepper curry lamb, Lamb kadai was awesome but the gravy was so less quantity…! Taste wise it was awesome and liked the way they bought the breads …! The only thing lacking was we have to wait for the team to come and see us for example to get the water or tissues… or any thing … just because the food is good they are getting 4 from my end and just short of one because of that service coordination…! If you guys work on it then you might be one of the best restaurant in city so far…! Well Authentic and awesome food…! Must try but plan for atleast 90 mins to spare for nice Dinein experience…!

It was our first time to try Pakistani cuisine. My husband and I ordered the Lahori Chicken Karahi and plain naan to go with it. The serving was generous and the flavors superb. We love the spiciness of the dish too - it has the right amount of kick in it. Thanks for the wonderful meal, Aroma Restaurant! We hope to come back to try your other dishes :)

Hidden gem for pakistani food! While the outside and interior may not be considered beautiful or comfortable, the value for money was insane. We had a mixed grilled platter that was roasted on a charcoral grill and some very tasty chickpea and paneer curries. The staff was very friendly, although the experience could improve if made a little more professional

I need to express my deep dissatisfaction with the food at this restaurant. While the staff was commendable for their politeness and attentiveness, the culinary experience was abysmal. The garlic naan was a visual disaster, almost offensive to look at. As for the mash dal, claiming it was prepared by a Pakistani chef would be a stretch – it lacked authenticity and was barely cooked. Moreover, the dal was excessively oily, further ruining the meal. To their credit, the staff did replace my cold chai with a fresh one, but that couldn't salvage the overall terrible food experience.

Very friendly and welcoming staff. She helped me decide what to eat since all the dishes were new to me. Due to the spicy food, she offered me a mint raita on the house to offset the heat :D The food was very good! The price, every penny worth it. Highly recommended! See you soon for another delicious dish!

If you’re a food fanatic and you happen to be in Melbourne, you cannot miss this authentic Pakistani restaurant. Top 3 reasons to love it: 1. Fantastic customer service! Anshu was very patient and friendly to introduce us to Pakistani cuisine. She helped us choose the best dishes according to our spice tolerance, flavour and meat preference. (Vegetarian options are available too.) 2. It is open late at night. 3. The chef definitely knows his craft! He’s even so kind to generously let us try one of their best desserts, “Ras Malai”. It’s his wife’s special recipe. OMG. What reason do you have not to try it? IT IS A MUST if you come here. Overall experience was heavenly! If you want to feel happy and remind yourself that life is good, come to this restaurant.

The food here at Aroma is incredible! The staff are so lovely and the waitress was explaining all the dishes to visitors which I thought was wonderful. It is a small restaurant full of character. The food is so delicious and staff are so lovely. We will definitely visit again next time we are in Melbourne. It deserves all the stars!!! We had the Lahori Chicken Karahi, lamb seekh kebab and Mian G Daal. The Naan is also perfect. Please open in Sydney! 😉

Last saturday night, I had the pleasure of dining at Aroma Restaurant in Melbourne, and I must say it was an absolutely delightful experience from start to finish. Aroma Restaurant not only offers friendly dining atmosphere but also delivers in terms of the worth of money, the quality of food, and better service. The service at Aroma Restaurant was nothing short of outstanding. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and incredibly courteous. From the moment we stepped in, we felt like valued guests. They took the time to explain the menu and offered thoughtful recommendations, enhancing our overall dining experience. It would’ve been unfair if I don’t mention the name anshu, the young star of Aroma, who served us generously, hereby I haven’t felt I am long away from home. Now, let's talk about the food, which was undoubtedly the highlight of the evening. Every dish that graced our table was a masterpiece. From the appetizers to the desserts, the flavors were exquisite, and the presentation was impeccable.. Despite the quality of service and the culinary excellence, what pleasantly surprised me was the reasonable pricing. Aroma Restaurant offers exceptional value for the quality of the food and service provided. It's one of those rare places where you truly feel like you've received more than your money's worth. Aroma Restaurant in Melbourne is a hidden gem that deserves all the accolades it receives. If you're looking for an exquisite dining experience that combines exceptional service, delectable cuisine, and great value for money, Aroma Restaurant is an absolute must-visit. I left the restaurant with a contented heart and a palate that couldn't have been happier. I can't wait to return for another unforgettable meal. N.B. Forgot to take other food photos as we were way to hungry. Maybe next time 😬

Food 4.1/5 Had their special butter chicken, mutton karahi and chicken tikka masala and they were all great. The spice punch you in the face and the minced meat in the all curry gravy were such a surprised. The garlic naan is okay and the saffron rice filled with herby and spice aromas. Didn’t quite like the mutton bbq kebab. All food were cooked fresh and warm. 5 stars for the staff, being really helpful with recommending the dishes. She singlehandedly handle all the service alone 👏🏻

The Server Anshu is amazing and hard working, considering she was the only one serving this night. Kudos to her ! The food was great for a Pakistani themed restaurant, though if pressed i would recommend to tell the team to make it according to your spice levels. Though the service could have been faster and better managed.

Very delicious authentic Pakistani food which is cooked fresh. Its a small restaurant with great cozy ambiance. It’s located on the part of Little Collins Street which is not very busy on nights, so finding a parking spot for dinner shouldn’t be an issue. Staff are friendly and welcoming, although service could be a bit quicker. Overall a very good experience and highly recommended.

A great place to try typical North Indian/Pakistani food around the Melbourne cbd. It’s far more better than many places in Melbourne. Very professional and friendly staff with reasonable price. The only issue is it doesn’t have a big dine in place to eat, so really have to book in advance and their service is quite slow as well. It’s in city so parking is always a problem. Their bbq platter is the best one, curries are ok like mutton or chicken Karai, Nehari is also yumm. Overall a good place to eat and hang out with you friends and family.
