Dinner 02/05/21 Back again! Mark and his team didn’t disappoint! We took our family there after raving about this place to them, it was tight for our big group but everyone loved the food! The arancini were so good & I went the carbonara again, as good as ever! They gave us some roasted hazelnuts or something which was lovely As always can’t say a bad word about any of this only complaint is I forgot to get the donuts to take away :( ah well next time!

Great warm place for a family gathering. The pizza there is got to be one of the best that I have tasted in Melbourne, it was the house special pizza, it came with baked potato, black truffle, topped with mozzarella cheese. Very similar to the T17 special pizza in Blackburn, except this one had a more stronger truffle taste with the cheese. Would order again if this comes up on the menu with my next visit. Service is warm and all the staff is very quick and knows exactly what they are doing, all your request is handle in a very responsive manner, so you would not feel unnoticed. I would suggest to have more items on the menu, for pasta and meaty items.

Have eaten here a number of times. Traditional Italian pizzas (amazing wood fired bases!), premium toppings. Really nice staff, you can watch the food being prepared and the chefs are always happy for a chat. Worth a visit!

This was recommended to us by a cafe owner in the area. It was insanely GOOD! Prefisso 3088 is now our go to takeaway place. Fresh and generous toppings on our pizza, incredibly good service in the restaurant and delicious light crust. It’s a small restaurant that is mainly takeaway, so make sure to book if you are wanting to dine in. The flow of pickups was steady at 5.30. Our food came quickly and we were really impressed.

Pizza was really good, like seriously good. The mains are good even if servings are unusually smaller than similar restaurants. Cannoli was divine. The girl who served us also was super friendly and super attentive. Owner was also friendly when we walked in… Until… Where it loses us is when the owner comes outside to chat with a group of friends and then obviously tells them that he will prioritise their meals over other paying customers. The table were so loud in saying that “they will be looked after by the owner” and surprise three other tables who arrived earlier had to wait so this table got their food first. Nice friend, but you will lose paying customers if that’s how you want to run your business. We literally waited 20 minutes after they got their food despite arriving close to 20 minutes before them and ordering our food before they even sat down. The couple in the next table also said the same thing. Anyways, food for thought 😉

This restaurant is way too small for how many people they think can fit in the space. First off it’s pitch black inside possibly because we were seated in a dark dingy corner by the toilet and fridge. The tables were so squashed together I was touching chairs with the table behind me so I would really consider this more of a takeaway type venue. Food wise I enjoyed my genovese pizza. Price was steep for a suburban pizza shop but it did have some high caliber burrata on there. My husband did not enjoy his funghi pizza as much. Probably would have ordered some cannoli for dessert but the complete lack of atmosphere was incredibly off putting

Good food, good service, nice outdoor seating area, good selection of beverages I loved the genevese pizza made with burrata cheese and pesto. And the lasagna was out of this world too.

Officially found my favourite pizza place in Melbourne!!! Pizza was divine and was super yums - loved the Slow Cooked Lamb and classic Margherita. Absolute fave would be the Pistachio Calzone - first time having it and it was just so good! 10/10 would recommend and will be back!!

Literally the best takeaway pizzas I’ve ever had so far! Incredible dough and super fresh ingredients too! Highly recommend to try their wild mushrooms & slow-cooked lamb and guys, unlock your sweet pizza goals! Their PISTACHIO pizza is a MUST HAVE!! 💯💯💯💯💯

Best pizza I've had in Watsonia/Greensborough. Why are there not more of these Italian style places? Thin crispy base and amazing sauce. The pasta is top notch too. Highly recommended.

Small place but great food! Wine by the glass is reasonably priced. Great range of gf food. Carbonara was delicious (ordered with gf penne). They have gf Nutella donuts!

Truly outstanding pizza, definitely worth dining in to enjoy it straight from the wood fire. The base is thin and crisp while still maintaining the structural integrity to support the generous, high quality toppings. I added olives to the spicy pizza which was no trouble. Rocket salad was fresh and zingy and complemented everything perfectly. My friend ordered the gnocchi which was beautiful and fluffy. Don’t skip dessert either, the Nutella doughnuts were the best I’ve had in ages and totally worth feeling too full for the rest of the day.

Absolutely loved the quality food they had here the fluffiest pizza I’ve ever tried honestly with delicious dough. The gnocchi is unforgettable!! So underrated🤤 I’m coming back soon

I ordered this on Uber eats and paid $30 for a pizza thinking it would be good quality. Some of the slices only have half toppings on them and the rest is just dough. I think it’s very unfairly prices for how sloppily it was made. I put in a complaint on Uber eats and they didn’t respond at all If you fold the prosciutto over then it’s just nothing underneath for half the pizza

I consider this is Italian restaurant a great little suburban find. Amazing food & fabulous Italian wine. The gnocchi was like eating little clouds of potato. That pistachio dessert pizza with black Sea salt was heaven. The staff were attentive and delightful, & our party of six had a fabulous time. Can't wait to return.

By far the best restaurant and best pizza!!! We have literally put off moving house because we love that we are in walking distance to amazing food! The team is also so great and super friendly. Highly recommend

Traditional Italian pasta and woodfire pizza, never disappoints. The Ragu is our favourite. Service is warm and friendly.

We used to highly rate and recommend prefisso. Unfortunately our last two experiences have been disappointing. The first experience was that both the wine and the lasagne we wanted to order were out of stock which is unfortunate but these things happen. The second time we had booked a table 2 days prior and on attendance were told that they did not have the table available because it had been given to a lady whose child was "really hungry". This lady seemed to know the owners. We were then expected to wait around for them to finish their meal and wine, in a venue with no standing room. We used to frequently visit this venue, unfortunately we will not be returning.

What a absolute great night food was magnificent so fresh and tasty. The meat balls "polpette" melt in the mouth. Home made secret recipe by Mark mum. Serves was great and friendly restaurant.

Firstly reading the reviews and someone complaining about the beef ragu? Well I think they must have got this place mixed up with someone else! The ragu was beyond amazing with way more than 3 pieces with the best tasting pasta I've had in a long time! The pizza was perfect can't fault this place at all! You've won me over.

Wonderful polpette meatballs preceded a selection of wood-fired pizzas that are worthy of high accolade. Our family group enjoyed every bite, the service is wonderfully welcoming and although not a large dining area - accommodated our group easily and comfortably. The food and atmosphere were very good but not perfect. The serving staff were the highlight of my evening and made my week! The waiter who dealt with my order named Lucas was an absolute pleasure and went above and beyond to assure my experience was perfect!

Really nice food. Lasagna was absolutely delicious and cheesy and a great size. Pizzas were nice, thin base. One come out with pretty burnt crust which crust wasn't really edible. Service was very friendly and helpful and quick. Venue is really small and not the best atmosphere to eat in but manageable. Being thin base pizza aren't very filling and on the pricier side but the lasagne was a great size for the price

Ascolta, la pizza qui è fantastica! I wish I could continue the review in Italian, but it'd defeat the purpose. My point is simple: you can't miss this place. It's a tiny shop tucked in a residential street of Greensborough, but boy oh boy, if it has big flavours! They actually cook pizza the way it's meant to be cooked, their ingredients are the best in town and the other items of the menu are bang on. Here and there they have fun with some crazy, and out of the box recipes, which is great, especially for families with kids. The shock though, is that whilst I was munching away, I completely forgot that I was in Greensborough (with total respect), and I didn't know expect this level of quality right here. To top it all off, a few nice decor touches, with the Briscola card being the stand out for me. Lastly, they always have a few special pizzas, and they seems to always flying out of the oven. Yes, it could very well be quite a drive out here, but it's absolutely well worth it, especially if you're in search for one of the best pizzas you can find in Melbourne. But, enough said: grab a slice and MANGIA!

Great food - Special Prawn Pizza in particular was really tasty. Prawns were fresh and juicy. Good service - Wait staff were friendly, attentive and always on the lookout to make the night great. Good experience - Al fresco dining on a cool spring night, can’t beat that.

Best pizza in Melbourne!!! The pizza dough is delicious 🤤 and they have lots of different pizza flavours to choose from. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and you can decide to dine in or take away. I also tried the Nutella donuts which were beyond delicious 😋! I can’t recommend this restaurant enough!

Incredible Italian food. Hidden neighbour good gem. Fresh, packed with flavor. The pizza bread was soft yet crunchy on the ends. The tomato sauce was fresh and perfectly balanced. The choice of cheeses on the pizza were great. The carbonara was a knock out home run. Will come back again for sure.
