I was recommended this place by a friend, and I am so glad I came! The food was so delicious! And I had the hand made peach tea which was lovely too! Both the servers were very kind and welcoming, and the atmosphere was clean and gentle. You almost forget the world is bustling around outside. Will absolutely come back! I went back recently and had the Chia Seed Pudding and Baby Bumblebee brew- both I would highly recommend! Everything is delicious 😋

This cafe consistently draws a crowd, and its quirky decor, including a vibrant flower wall perfect for Ins, adds to the charm. The availability of outdoor seating makes it dog-friendly 🐶. A long-standing favorite for me has been the Oink Oink Croissant Banh Mi – a treat for meat lovers with its pork belly marinated in Tom Yum sauce, offering a delightful blend of sweet and sour. The substitution of the traditional Vietnamese bread with a croissant brings an enjoyable crunch to each bite. I also like the Coconut & Prawn Scramble. Encased in a hot sesame bagel, the spicy scrambled eggs and juicy prawns, paired with coconut sambal sauce, create a delightful blend of flavors. The crispiness of the bagel adds an extra layer of satisfaction to the dish. This time I have explored new additions suitable for a sunny Melbourne summer: The Summer Salmon Fruit Salad is a vibrant mix of fresh summer fruits and vegetables paired with aromatic Tasmanian salmon, quinoa, avocado, radicchio, orange, kale, and more. The passion fruit sauce adds a light and refreshing touch. For those with a sweet tooth, the Summer Berry Pancake is a delightful treat. Topped with raspberries, blueberries, strawberries, and strawberry ice cream, the blueberry pancake has a wonderfully soft texture. For the drinks, the Baby Bumblebee is a refreshing and summer-inspired choice. With creamy cheese foam on top and a hand-brewed iced coffee below, infused with a hint of orange freshness, it perfectly balances the bitterness of coffee with the crispness of orange. It's more than just a meal, it's a delightful journey through flavors, textures, and the inviting ambiance of this charming spot :)

Lovely place and a hidden gem for brunch. We were able to reserve a large table for 8+ which was great. The food was lovely, had a bit of food envy seeing the different dishes come out. Photos below show the place when we first arrived but the space filled up very quickly and got quite loud quite fast given the polished concrete floors that echoed a bit. Overall a lovely place, the Funky Monkey smoothie was a nice healthy treat. Lots of parking outside (2 and 3 hr spots). Worth a visit if you’re in the area

This little coffee shop is set among a group of shops that has about 4 or 5 other coffee shops, all of which claim to do “the best coffee” in Melbourne. We have tried every coffee shop in the whole area and “Bobs Your Uncle” are a MILE above any of the others!! Their toasted sandwich’s are simple with their own touch to it, and they taste amazing!! All of their staff go above and beyond, so friendly, so welcoming and always so professional. I couldn’t recommend this cafe highly enough….whether you are looking for legitimately “the best coffee” in the area, or a well priced simple, but gourmet sandwich, this is the place.! Trust me, you will thank me later 👏🏻🙏 Prue 😊

As someone who eats out several times a week whether for breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner, morning / afternoon tea - I’ve pretty much seen it all. Today was a highlight in brunch dining. My three kids who are now 20, 18 and 16 gave also become savvy diners and nearly always give their tips and 10c worth. My son liked the knives - nice sharp knives! Anyway, I ordered the pumpkin and corn fritters, my son the burger, my big daughter the smashed avo hold the kale and my baby girl (16) had the pancakes. That along with fresh juice and a loose leaf chai and we were in heaven. At last a place that serves a chai that’s not that sweet powder! Sitting close to the kitchen at the rear, we could watch the food coming out to the tables so snapped some extra photos of the stunningly presented meals. The croquettes are on my list for next time. The cake selection is something ‘out of the box’ with not just your ordinary muffins on offer. Dietaries are easily catered for. Some nice home made preserves at the register to tease you some more. Dining out the front on a warm day would be delightful. Wheelchair friendly. Kid friendly. High chairs available. Good parking out the front. Takeaway coffees and cakes available. If I had to make one criticism it would be that it can be noisy - which to me is a plus because it says people are enjoying themselves. Big thank you to Lisa who we all commented is the most warm and lovely hostess. A must visit.

4.3 with capacity to go higher. This is a modern style cafe that offers impressive food and service. It would be well at home in any of the hipster drenched inner suburbs. The owner of Bob’s Your Uncle is a hospitality industry veteran and it certainly shows. The cafe has a good modern menu full of great dishes. It was doing a good brisk trade when we arrived. I chose the nourish bowl with a poached egg and some toast. The dish was outstanding. Best I’ve had for a while and much better than similar dishes available at higher rated places including Sir Charles earlier in the week. The dish was beautifully presented and looked very inviting. Everything in this dish was absolutely as fresh as a daisy. Every single one of the veggies was so flavoursome. You worry a dish like this might be bland. You certainly don’t have to worry about this one. Everything was great. The pickled beetroot was particularly fine, the carrots magnificent, the brussel sprouts just ever so residually crisp, the rice cooked perfectly, etc, etc. It’s such a great dish. My partner had the super food salad with salmon. She’s occasionally a harsh critic but she too went nuts over her dish. She loved it. I had a taste as well. It’s a superb offering. It was noteworthy that our meals and all the other ones coming out were a good size. I was taken by the chilli eggs being consumed at a nearby table. A largish meal that looked very good. That’s one for next time. The coffee was lovely here too. Strong and beautiful. We could not fault it. This cafe is a nice bright modern space, mainly white with a little green. It’s soft and subtle decor. It always good to to see some greenery as well and there are some nice plants dotted around at ground level and higher. The cafe was bit noisy at some points, mainly due to one rather ebullient group. They might also consider soft tips on the chair legs here as well. Service was very good throughout. It was noticeable that the staff were working hard. Our young server was polite, attentive and very efficient. A wonderful asset to the business. Overall this is a very very good local place. We loved it and will definitely return. I dearly wish this was my local cafe.

Good food and friendly staff. What you would expected from a good Melbourne cafe. Coffee is well brewed and strong bean taste. I got the beef burger and the beef was very tasty but the chips were okay, not the best. The large table was a bit wobbly, need to fix or stabilize. Overall good experience and would definitely come back again.

This Cafe is probably one of the best food cafe around Jackson Court. Strongly recommended the Poke Bowl, it has the rightful amount of saltiness and spice in the sauce which you can drizzle on to the food that makes every bite just right, the coffee is just about right 4.8/5 (google does not let me making it so specific) generally its a good place for a quick and easy stop for food and coffee.

I don’t know where to start, both the coffee and the food was unbelievably good. The menu was different and exciting to read through. Classics with a twist in all the right directions. The portion size to price exceeds expectation. The comfort and relaxed ambience of the cafe was perfect! To wrap up all these fantastic qualities was brought home by friendly and welcoming staff. Unreal and set my day up for success

A nice little cafe located in the corner of Jackson's Court. It was really busy when I went, a short wait to be seated. Great coffee and food The chilli and prawn scramble was lovely.

We are a local and visit this place regularly. The food is tasty, menu is big, and the staff make us feel welcomed. We love eating everything on their menu and favourites include their corn fritters and smashed avo. However, for a brunch place, the cafe is quite noisy, and I wouldn’t choose to come here to meet with friends. Sometimes I feel like I’m shouting over the noise. It would be nice if there was some more furnishings or the like to help make it a better ambience.

I've loved coming here for brunch in the last few years as it's close to home and the food is quite the yummy. I have always recommended the super food salad to my friends and family. However today I realised the price of the food has gone up significantly and does not match most cafe price increases. For the two bowls with the added chicken, we paid a total of $66. That's outrageous. Food is decent but it's got a high price tag that doesn't warrant coming back again.

I’ve been visiting Bobs Your Uncle Café since they opened a years ago. They now have new owners and a brand-new menu. Coffee food and service is still just as good and I really enjoyed the pork belly banh mi but served with a croissant instead. A great local cafe.

Very friendly staff, quick service. Bacon Benny was good. The Oink Oink croissant banh mi was tasty and the Hulk smash was well presented. Their scrambled eggs is more folded eggs than scrambled. The coffee was slightly burnt and bitter, but that could have been because we ordered the large mug size.

I had the mug of flat white and the crispy chicken burger, great combo after a bit of a walk! Best fries, light crispy, fresh with tomato sauce. The burger was done perfectly, great buns and filling. The service was quick, friendly and efficient. Definitely check this place out!! Enjoy:)

Love the coffee the best❤️I continue to frequent this particular venue even though it is not the nearest Cafe to me. Credit to all the hard working staff there.👍🏻

The breakfast food at Bob's your uncle was delicious, the team were super amazing and friendly. Parking was easy to find and just the general atmosphere was very summery and fresh. I can see why it was busy and had a line to get in, well worth it though.

It was a busy cafe in a quiet pocket of Jackson's Court. The coffee was good. I liked it, and the atmosphere was pleasant enough to have a good conversation with a colleague of mine over a number of things. I will be returning once again and hopefully purchase a few more things, such as a toasted sandwich. Also note that my 4 out of 5 is very good as that to get a 5 out of 5 requires exceptional customer service beyond the standard.

Lovely cafe in Doncaster East. Came here with 3 mates on a Friday arvo. We ordered some coffees and iced mochas. The service time is very reasonable and the drinks themselves tasted very nice. We thought the prices were slightly on the steeper end but not too bad. The staff were very friendly and looked after us very well.

I had an incredible experience at Bob's Your Uncle! The vibes were amazing, and the venue had a wonderful local friendly vibe. The outdoor seating was a great touch when Melbourne delivers lovely weather. Generous portion sizes for the price provided excellent value. I highly recommend trying the Sammy Royale and the Oink Oink Croissant Banh Mi – absolute highlights! Winter creamy mushroom croque madame was also delightful and so filling. The service was top-notch, with attentive staff making the dining experience even more enjoyable. The attention to detail in both presentation and flavors of the dishes showcased the chef's expertise. Bob's Your Uncle truly stands out as a gem for brunch enthusiasts seeking a delightful combination of ambiance, value, and mouthwatering culinary creations. I'll definitely be returning for more memorable brunch moments.

This is the sign! Go for brunch with your bestie💕 This cafe is the perfect spot to go for breakfast, brunch and lunch with your bestie, family or partner! This is seriously one of the best places I’ve tried! It seems that I say this a lot but it’s hard not to find good places around Melbourne. They offer a variety of amazing dishes and drinks, and we loved everything we tried! Every single dish was beautifully presented and exploded with flavour✨ Coffees and smoothies were spot on! 👌🏻 Their staff are very attentive and super friendly, which I always appreciate! I think good customer service makes the food taste even better! We went on a Monday and was full of people, and I can see why! 𝐁𝐎𝐁’𝐒 𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐑 𝐔𝐍𝐂𝐋𝐄 . Bob’s Your Uncle is a spacious brunch cafe, which will be ideal for you weekend brunch date with friends and families. . We had two best sellers: Oink Oink Croissant Banh Mi ($24) and Orange Pancake ($20). They were both lovely and nice in taste. . Oink Oink Croissant Banh Mi was tasty and delicious with crispy and flaky croissant. The spicy mayo here was really creamy and not too spicy at all, which my friend fell in love so much. Nevertheless, the pork belly was a bit too sweet for our taste. . Orange Pancake was definitely sweet and sour from both orange and berries flavours. The Pancake was huge with lots of berries and syrup. The Berry Chocolate Ganache in this dish was sweet, smooth and fun to try.

Matcha croissant is ok, but the truffle mushroom is very tasty 😋 Taro latte is also good. Cold brew has a strong smoky chocolate flavour which is ok.

This is one of the most colourful and bright brunch I’ve had!! You must check out this cafe for some lovely sweet and savoury brunch dishes. This cafe presents their dishes very beautifully. The coffee is also delicious and a smooth blend. The interior is also pretty lovely. Dishes I had ~ - Croissant filled with custard, fig and berries (mother’s day special) - Matcha granola with summer fruits and yogurt - Breakfast board with smashed avo, fritters, panna cotta granola and orange juice - Summer salad with cured salmon, avocado, orange and apple My favourite dish was the matcha granola and the mix of fruit! I also loved the kale and salmon salad as it was fresh, crunchy and so healthy. A great cafe to visit and enjoy a lovely brunch!

newly discovered Asian fusion brunch spot at Doncaster East that delivers a variety of dishes with unique flavours 🙋🏻‍♂️👀 I really enjoyed the Coconut & Prawn Scramble which is slightly sweet, coconuty and spicy from the use of sambal 🌶️ The chewy texture of the bagel was defo a bonus for me too! 🥯 The other dish that we got was the Oink Oink Croissant Banh Mi with a side of cured salmon 🐷🥐 Super flaky croissant stuffed with sticky pork belly slices, a sunny side up and slaw with tom yum mayo. Just found it slightly heavy towards the end but other than that this combo was litttt🔥 Really generous portion size and drinks were quite decent too! 🥭 Thanks for having us! follow @vienne_carpe.diem for more deeds and eats! 😋

Visited on a Saturday for lunch and they were busy! Food was excellent! We ordered the prawn and coconut scramble and the banh mi. Both were delicious! I also had a refresh juice which like the name says, is refreshing! Parking can be difficult on a weekend but it could’ve also been because the weather was excellent and every man and his dog was out in Melbourne today. 5/5
