Aunt Billie's in Blackburn is a great local cafe with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The staff are always friendly and attentive, and the food is consistently good. The menu has a wide variety of options to choose from, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner. For breakfast, I recommend the smashed avocado on sourdough toast with poached eggs and bacon. It's a delicious and hearty way to start your day. For lunch, the burgers are always a good choice. They are made with fresh, high-quality ingredients and are cooked to perfection. And for dinner, the pasta dishes are always a hit. In addition to the food, Aunt Billie's also has a great coffee and tea selection. The coffee is made with freshly roasted beans and is always delicious. And the tea selection includes a variety of herbal and black teas, as well as iced teas. Overall, Aunt Billie's is a great place to go for a casual meal or a quick coffee break. The food is good, the service is excellent, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. Here are some specific things that I like about Aunt Billie's: The menu is creative and seasonal, with a focus on fresh, local ingredients. The food is always well-prepared and presented. The coffee is excellent. The staff are friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. I would definitely recommend Aunt Billie's to anyone looking for a great local cafe in Blackburn.

Aunt Billies is where you need to go on the weekend to get your brunch fix ‼️ This cute brunch spot is located 3 mins drive 🚘 / 10ish mins walk 🏃🏻‍♀️ from Blackburn train station We got: 🍳 Beef Ribs Benedict - This is the ultimate classic, can-never-go-wrong dish that was soo tasty! The beef ribs were so tender and the portion they gave was massive 🤯 The potato hash underneath the meat was crispy on the outside with soft inside, fresh from the fryer and a perfect texture contrast to the soft meat. 🦐 Seafood Risotto - We never had risotto for brunch before so this was a treat! The seafood tasted fresh and cooked to perfection. The risotto had the right texture, not too soft with a bite to it 😋 Definitely something different that we’d have again! ☕️ Latte - A must for every brunch! We both ordered the same drinks cause it was rainy on the day and just wanted some warmth from a yummy cuppa. They also had some cute looking baked goods, definitely should get some next time! 😋 Overall, we enjoyed our time here and we recommend you to come & try their dishes! 🤩

We had an enjoyable lunch there today. The service was good, the food was beautifully presented and tasty and the hot beverages were also great. If parking was more available and easier, that would have made our experience even better.

We have been coming here at regular intervals over the years, and the “Feed Me” may not be “bottomless” anymore , but the quality and flavor is as good as ever. Amazing vibe as you step inside - the lighting, the atmosphere, the crowd Service was fun and relaxed (in a good way!) The food was all delicious. The salad was the standout dish - incredible mix of flavours & textures. Great coffee list too.. This place is so popular that booking way in advance is absolutely essential.

I had an absolutely incredible brunch experience here with my family. Upon arrival, I was immediately greeted by friendly staff with beaming smiles, making us feel very comfortable straight away. I ordered the beef ribs benedict and strawberry milkshake. The food was incredible, with a generous portion size and nice presentation. There was an abundance of flavour and the combination of flavours was well balanced. However, the real standout was the strawberry milkshake was out of this world. As a self proclaimed strawberry milkshake connosiour, I was amazed by the rich flavour and the thick and smooth consistency. The strawberry flavour was strong but not overpowering and there was definitely no artificial flavouring. The milkshake was definitely by far one of the best I'd ever had and I could not recommend more.

Aunt Billie's provides one of the best selections of food I've had in a long time. The chips and the burger alone are capable of standing up against many reputable burger joints, the drink selection covers all the bases and the quality of food here is definitely one not to miss out on. I'd highly recommend for anyone in the nearby area.

First time here. Plenty of 2P parking outside the cafe. Love that they had matcha latte here. Fritters were delish with scrambled eggs and avocado. Would love to come back here again.

This cafe had an excellent vibe where we enjoyed the atmosphere and the food was a 10/10. The burgers were fresh and delicious, one of the best ones we’ve had. The savoury pancakes were amazing too, but a little too sweet. Would definitely visit Aunt Billies cafe again.

I ordered the Lamb Shoulder, Seafood Risotto and a latte. All a must try!!! 10/10 Lamb Shoulder: The slow-cooked lamb shoulder at Aunt Billies is a true masterpiece. Tender and rich, the lamb practically melts in your mouth, a result of the careful slow-cooking process. The veggies - broccoli, cauliflower, and pumpkin nicely contrast the crisp asparagus. The quinoa and almond flakes provide a delightful nutty texture, while kale and spinach bring a fresh, vibrant touch. Accompanying the dish is garlic labne and pumpkin hummus, adding a tangy and creamy dimension. The warm baguette completes the experience, perfect for dipping into the flavourful hummus and labne. Highly recommend! Seafood Risotto: The dish combined tender tiger prawns and springy mussels with rich lobster bisque, creating a flavourful blend. The surprise addition of whole grain prawn added depth. The fresh tomato, chili, and garlic brought a zesty kick, balancing heat and tanginess. Truly outstanding! The latte showcased the quality of the coffee beans and milk – smooth and velvety.

I recently tried the Surrey Mushrooms breakfast at Aunt Billies and it was absolutely amazing. The mix of mushrooms and fresh spinach, along with the delightful grana padano cheese, was expertly folded into golden eggs. This flavorful creation rested on a bed of perfectly toasted sourdough, elevated by the aromatic basil pesto. Strongly recommend!!

Service was fast and efficient. Food arrived quickly. Beautiful presentation and flavours were a hit. Definitely a nice hidden meeting spot in Blackburn right next to the church. Seating area had a lot of small tables. Would recommend booking if you have a larger number. Take away coffee and cake available with a nicely mini selection. Would definitely come again. Well done!

😋😋😋😋 We were thoroughly impressed with this brunch spot - whilst the food is a little pricey, it is definitely worth it. The food was amazing (portion size was appropriate and dish was tasty I ordered the mushroom), staff weee super friendly and the tables were not too close together offering privacy but also were close enough so that it was intimate. We love that we could also bring our dog with us!! 🐶 Can’t wait to come back!!

Had breakfast here, and ordered Harissa Scrambled. Love it! It’s basically a pimped up scrambled egg with lots of toppings like avocados, potato wedges, pomegranate, fried shallots etc. The flavour worked well. Definitely come back for more.

Aunt Billies Cafe is a hidden brunch spot in Blackburn located right next to a church. It has a super cozy ambience & also a cute shaded outdoor area ☀️ I’d highly recommend the beef ribs benedict! The ribs were SOOO tender & full of flavour. Definitely your go-to brunch spot for local quality meals, especially if you’re in the the Blackburn and Nunawading areas.

Sunday brunch should be so fulfilling, enriching and sumptuous that it can’t give you Monday Blues! @auntbilliescafe at Blackburn is a lovely breakfast/brunch spot that has all the right food and beverages to recharge you for the rest of the week. What we had: French toast, which is so out of the world, tasty, has so many layers to make it impossibly irresistible, served with brioche toast coated in cornflakes, rhubarb purée, boysenberry mascarpone, pistachio crumb and vanilla icecream. Strongly recommended. Surrey Mushrooms, such a mouthwatering and a fresh bowl of so many different types of mushrooms, spinach, crispy polenta, basil pesto, buffalo mozzarella, poached eggs. I really loved this one more, because of it’s satisfying taste. Must try. Lamb Shoulder, such an incredibly delicious lunch dish that’s not just very filling but the combination of herb crusted eggplant with 12hr slow cooked lamb shoulder, turned out to be simply divine. Packed with so much flavours of capsicum purée, dukkah confit, garlic labne, burnt sage, butter and toasted baguette. The taste of this dish still lingers in my mind since it’s so refreshing. Strongly recommended. Helena smoothie, so filling and tasted very refreshing. Latte was perfectly brewed with an intense flavour. Loved it. The best thing about their dishes that these are very well presented yet tastes absolutely fantastic and yum. The prices of the menu items are very standard, and the service is very prompt even on a busy weekend morning. They vibe here is very relaxing, with a spacious outdoor and indoor seating area. Perfect spot to stop for a bite over coffee. So guys visit today @auntbilliescafe that knows how to do the right brunch/breakfast/coffee for you.

Great cafe that's always busy! Easy to find, next to a Church. They have tables inside and outside to cater for those with fur babies. Food is delicious and they have a food range. Parking in the car park is limited but there is ample parking on the main road. Service for food is relatively quick despite being busy.

Nice food for family with kids and must try their iced mocha if you are mocha person. Atmosphere is nice with both outdoor and indoor seating available though a bit tricky is to find a parking spot during busy hours coz there are limited parking spaces outside of the cafe. Better go there earlier if you have bigger group of people joining.

So disappointed. This used to be a favourite but clearly new owners. Service was very average, weren't offered drinks when we sat down, had to ask for cutlery. I ordered fritters which arrived looking nothing like the description. Found a few lentils under the soggy lettuce & avocado - they must be the grain salad. The egg was perfectly poached though!

What a great find! I loved the ambience - just right to be able to hear each other but not hear other tables. Very tempting selection of cakes. Great coffee and service. Add this to my list of cafes to come back to!

Food was original and yum but service was not great. Firstly I booked a table, but they had no record of it when we arrived Secondly, one friend ordered a side of bacon- but they bought us out 2 serves. We sent one back, but they still charged us for 2. Thirdly, girl on register couldn't work out how to split bill, nor do a credit card payment- so I had to pay cash for my friend's meals. Upon later inspecting bill- we were massively overcharged....not just for bacon we didn't order or eat, but there was another item that we didn't order When I rang and left message asking for manager to call me back to discuss.... I got NO Response.☹️ Put a big dampener on what had been an enjoyable lunch

What a great cafe in Blackburn north! The food was absolutely delicious and the coffee and chai latte were made so well. We had the breakfast platter and it had good tasty combination of haloumi, chorizo sausage and salad, the poached egg was slightly cooked over. The pulled beef Benedict was so delicious, only thing was that it was quite fatty so I couldn’t finish it, and it was cumbersome to eat in a bowl. The interiors are stylishly designed and renovated and the service was good. I’d still come back to try other meals and coffee!

Another local brunch gem located on Blackburn road. 💫They have a wide range of both breakfast and lunch menu with indoor and outdoor (sheltered) seatings 🍃😋 The food here was mouthwatering!! The beef rib was nice and tender whereas the chicken bao stood out the most!! 🤩💯 The chicken was perfectly marinated and was absolutely flawless. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! 👌

Ordered the Mediterranean and the salmon croissant benny and they were massive! The plates could barely fit on our table. The Mediterranean had so many different elements that balanced each other out making it a fun eat. The salmon Benny was also really delicious. The crispy croissant with the smoked salmon and condiments tasted so good together. Thoroughly impressed and will definitely return to try other dishes on the menu.
