UPDATE: Visited for the second time and this time for brekkie. Rosti was perfect this time round, and so was everything else we ordered. Amazing portion sizes and reasonable pricing. - - - - - - - - Came here with my mum last week for lunch, it was really busy and the tables along the walls weren't very spaced out so it was almost too loud to converse properly. Menu is fairly standard, not a very large selection, but beautifully made with great ingredients. We ordered the salmon (which was really good) as well as potato rosti, which I think was a little overdone. It was so crispy and fried throughout that it almost too hard to eat. Coffee was excellent though, and parking was very easy along the street.

Modern cafe with high wooden ceilings, and trendy black drop lights. Comfortable booth seating and good variety of dishes on the menu. Food serves were generous and all our choices were delicious! Coffee was perfect 65'

Came here twice for brunch. Atmosphere was excellent, we didn’t expect there’s such a place with so great industrial interior. Service was nice too, we didn’t wait for too long before we were attended. For the seating I have a bit to say: for people who is sitting at the table right next to the window, it’s pretty difficult for people who is facing the window in a sunny day. My friend frowned all the way, and had to put on sunglasses later for the whole experience. But I guess there’s no much you can do about it. Coffee was great, and I just love the Chai Latte so much!!! The sweetness is just right, I didn’t have to put honey in it. Portion is generous, I ended up drinking 3 cups from the pot. As of the food: highly recommend steak sandwich. Portion is quite generous, steak is juicy and flavorful, chips came with two sauces. You will be satisfied after eating it. I had the baked egg for the first time. The portion of chorizo is generous, but towards the end the whole thing just starts to feel salty. Perhaps should give two slices of bread instead of one. For the Pulled Pork Egg Benny: it is the first time I eat pull pork egg Benny in a brunch without any sauce on the pulled pork. Normally they come with BBQ sauce or stuff. Therefore the whole Benny is just counting on hollandaise sauce, and to be honest it is not enough to cover the strong “porky” taste if you know what I mean. No wonder not too many people recommend this dish. Although the brioche is quite milky and I feel like I can just have another brioche bun.

This place is a hidden gem. Staff are very friendly food is delicious and service is great, drinks and food came out fairly quickly. The pancakes where AMAZING, I added bacon but the combinations were perfect, best I have ever had. Pulled pork Benny definitely highly recommended too.

Wow! First time for Brekky today and we’re in love. Coffee is the best in the area. Poached eggs were perfect and my omelette was really tasty. All the staff were super friendly and happy and the vibe was very very welcoming. The reviews are accurate, you’ve got a couple of new regulars Mr Robertson. Loved the background tunes too! 🎶☕️❤️👌

It’s a very busy cafe, and the service is outstanding. We ordered the steak sandwich and chicken parma, the potion is very big and their chips ( serve with 2 sauces😍) are so good!! we didn’t know that the chicken parma would take long time to cook and they served all the dishes. after 20 mins waiting, someone came to follow up our order, that’s thoughtful. But we were in rush, so that we don’t have time to finish all the food. 😔

Came here for lunch during the week, there was a lively buzz about and we were quickly seated. Ordered a soy flat white extra hot and the baked egg. The coffee tasted great however wasn't extra hot (no big deal). The baked eggs came shortly after and wow, the portion size was very generous and tasted amazing. Love the combination of olivies, cheese, tomato and egg on toast! Perfect with a bit of cracked pepper on top. Only feedback is it came with a single slice of toast, would have suited 2 perfectly as I quickly ran out of bread. Overall couldn't fault the food though!

Great food. Great coffee. Huge space. Outdoor seating is also very good. Sheltered from the wind and has heating. This place is getting quite popular so don't be surprised if there is a short wait.

Truly deserve the top rated cafe. Love their food, service and atmosphere here. My high light is their quinoa salad and almond latte best combination to light up your day. Margherita pizza and chicken parma is average. Definitely will come back again!

Great place for breakfast. Good menu, good coffee, good muffins. Very relaxed and un rushed!

Had a great brunch at Mr Robertson , great choices of food on the Menus. So are the drink menus.

Stopped in for lunch today and got the Lamb Salad and my friend ordered the Calamari salad. Both dishes were absolutely delicious generous portion and the quality of food was clear to see (and taste) Staff were efficient and polite. Venue is lovely as well, clean and spacious with a nice outdoor area that was cool - even on a hot Melbourne summers day. Highly recommend!
