This is my story: It was my birthday I had 2 drinks from the bar, I was not loud and all of a sudden I get told I’m too intoxicated and threatened to get kicked out if I don’t drink water and calm down (ok??I wasn’t even intoxicated to begin with but I wasn’t going to have another ruined birthday, so I did what I had to do , I drank 4 glasses of water) I leave the premises and come back after 15 minutes (I was staying at the Promenade hotel and my friend needed her bag out of the room). I get let back in the club (yay!) and I go to the bar, oh behold! The security had told the bartender (he was nice) he was not to pour me anymore alcoholic beverages. I left after that because it just wasn’t fair. Im absolutely disappointed and feel like I have been bullied by the security who obviously think they are more than everyone else because they have a bit of authority over a small department. CROWN, PLEASE!! CHECK YOUR STAFF.

Girlfriend got thrown up on by a disgusting guy on the dance floor. We spoke with the 'clipboard lady' and asked for a refund of the tickets, which I thought was reasonable. She refused, I asked them how they could let a guy get (or be) that drunk in their club, after which the stereotypical 'steroid loves himself' bouncer became agressive telling me not to tell them how to do their jobs. He took the conversation from chill to agro. I then filled a complaint with crown and I'm yet to receive a response.

Clubbing here is like getting a kebab at 3am - it's always a good idea at the time. Not the best music on a Saturday night - Miley Cyrus Party in the USA is more suited to a Grade 6 party than a nightclub. Always an interesting crowd. I think save your hard earned money and go elsewhere if it's a planned night out. If you are kicking on and you are already at crown it's OK and usually the promoters downstairs might give out free entry before 11 or you really want that kebab...

Sort your door security out, stopped cos of shoes, in 2022? You're a Crown nightclub, not really the pinnacle of class. I'm sure it's lovely inside but guess we'll never know. Rather go to a pub where drinks aren't $20 a pop. Or you know, a better club with better security.

The WORSE customer service EVER. I am not talking about just one employee but most of them..they are SO rude! One time at this nightclub was enough to understand why it has so many bad reviews. It’s not about the music and the place, it’s about people who work there. So, I don’t recommend you spend your time and MONEY going to this place.

1 creepy guy was raving to RnB on a Sunday before midnight... Whilst in line (which was dead) me and my mates were contemplating whether or not to enter, where the owner approaches us and goes "its popping in there, the only club open in crown." Little did we know, it was not popping, it was however dead with only a matter of 30 people. Worst night I've had in a while

This place is so homophobic...the bouncer literally told me lets have chat outside and called some officer because i was so drunk keeping in mind i wasnt dancing or acting drunk i was just standing there talking to my friend literally not doing anything...the bouncer saw my nail polish ( i am gay guy ) and he picked on me....this behavior should not be acceptable at 2019....

We had a booth at crown on a Saturday night, the service was horrible, our waitress had no idea what she was doing and wasn't professional at all. Our bottle had already been opened, with booth service you are meant to get a brand new bottle with the seal on... When will sparks came on to play, everyone who was anyone came into our booth in what we paid for to watch him. We also got kicked out of our booth before we even finished our bottle. Learn how to do bottle service professionally. Definitely wasn't worth the money we paid for. Will never get bottle service there again.

Host is friendly, music is dope but the female bartender is obnoxious. I ordered a drink and urgently needed the bathroom so I left my friend at the bar to pay for my drink. When I got back the bartender went off at me, saying she won't serve me if I leave the bar. Despite apologising and explaining my friend was here to pay she went off at me again. Terrible customer service however, the rest of the staff are good. $19 per cocktail and I am shocked I was spoken to in such a demeaning way.

Were advised that we could not enter on the weekend because we were not of Indian descent. I have nothing against any race but as an Australian born this was a shock. Never again will i visit this Casino. What a joke.

I dont recomend this place. The teamwork of VIP area are so disorganized, all the time they were asking if me and some friends had permission to stay there. They are so rude, it is ridiculous the way they talk with clients. I dont know how the manager of this place doesn’t see all these problems.

The music was really good, however what club stops serving shots or doing doubles at 11pm?!?! This really dampened our experience at Lights. Also, there was a puddle on the dance floor which none of the staff even noticed despite having walked around the area multiple times - it’s extremely dangerous to not clean up. Lights was definitely not worth the $25 entry with the restrictions on drinks service.

The most dreadful, (an adjective of your choice) and pathetic "night"club I've ever been to. The music sucks, the vibe is worse than the smell coming from your ex's toilet bowl and the staff enures you have the most rotten time ever. If people took their life as serious as the people working in this club; trust me you will have a standard of life that you really deserve or we might even actually be able to end world hunger. Never even consider coming here.

Overall it was a poor experience the music was painful at best. we bought a table and it definitely wasn't worth it its cheap but beyond boring and good luck getting anyone's attention or drinks that aren't messed up. better off avoiding

The securities are kinda racist. They rejected us to go inside due to non-collared wearing. After we changed shirts, then they rejected us again just because of the shoes??????? Our white friends wore the same kind of shoes but no problem. Even these securities couldn’t define what kind of shoes are there “dress code”

Rudest customer service I have ever witnessed female worker or what ever she was at the stairs lied to a group of people then couldn't even own up to it. If that was not a sure sign up stairs in the club was worse.

The DJ has no idea about volume control, just because you have a sub doesn’t mean you need to make our ears bleed, we left early not because the music was bad we just couldn’t hear it through the heavy base and the MC that thinks we want to hear him sing and talk into the mic over the song.

I usually go to Electric Dreams for the Vault side room. It’s not always open so check before. If it is open it’s pure ?. 5 stars definitely. Afrobeatz, Trap, Hip Hop and Dancehall. The main room has the usual awful Australian DJs who don’t know or care about the difference between old school RnB, Dancehall or Trap. They just mix everything up you might as well plug your phone and play it on random. It’s the same songs they’ve played since I arrived here in ‘06. Then they subject you to EDM. It’s nauseating. 1 star for that. It’s the price I have to pay for a peaceful country recession free for 27 years I guess.

Went on a Saturday night and was very disappointed. Thought Crown could do better. Music was average. Did not have a big crowd and was just a bit lame. Also charged entry fee which was not worth it.

Expensive entry. Mates birthday, staff at the door said the whole party can come in for free, got in to get a stamp past security, then made the guys pay $25 whereas the girls could get in for free. Not very accomodating.

Went for New Years. The music was chill BUT the girls letting people in were feral and high and mighty. Friends and I sweated off the stamps so went to refresh and we watched these two chicks happily restamp two muscly attractive gentlemen but the moment my girl friend and I asked we had security called over and told EVEN with tickets shown because it was past 2am we couldn’t be restamped without proof of old stamps even though we witnessed the two guys get stamped also after 2am etc. The girls eyes rolled and they had the audacity to scoff when my partner helped me remember where my stamp was and there was just a fragment left so they had no choice. Only SOME of the security was good. Some of the bartenders were rude and one argued with me over change to the point I gave up. Won’t ever be returning unfortunately, first time there and I have nothing but a sour taste in my mouth. Great music and a nice night but some of the staff just make it terrible. Disappointed.,

Very bad persons standing at the security. Security number 392 and the secirity number is 289. Both were racist, they were letting white people in t-shirt to the club. But they didn't us because one of us wear casual shirt. I have never experienced such humiliation in my life. I will recommend to stay away from these type security guard who don't treat people equally.

Security needs to know the difference between drunk and intoxicated. No body in security wants to talk because they know they are wrong and just trying to spoil night of people having fun. Girls should never go there alone.

Expected more from a Crown nightclub. Bad music, overall average atmosphere inside. The whole place seemed messy and not what you would expect from a 5 star hotel. Do not recommend If you want to listen to good music and party in a classy nightclub.

Mixed experience☹️, male-female ratio a bit skewed most Saturdays to like 4:1. Sound system ok. Excessive & silly flashing lights, reminsent of a past era. Dance floor can be very wet and slippery from spilt drinks and staff never bother to mop , so one needs to dance with care. Repetitive musik during a single night. At times the music can be uncomfortably loud.

Actually a decent nightclub, I've been here a few times and got in no problem. Even when I had too much to drink and wasn't feeling the best, security were super helpful and weren't aggressive to me. My pros and cons of the club listed below: Pros(+) -Very clean looking venues -Decent toilets -Security usually easy to get along with -Music is alright, better if you enjoy RnB -It's literally in Crown, convenient to grab a taxi home, take public transport and/or grab some food after. -There's a blackjack table (I think) outside the nightclub, not sure if this is really a pro but if you're feeling optimistic then it's great -Got in wearing somewhat casual clothing, black pants and Nike Tns -Easy to sort out a guest list for cheaper entry Cons(-) -On Saturday night, each room has separate entry. -It's $25 or $30 for entry depending on what time you come -Drinks are expensive but it's a nightclub -The venue is sometimes dead/quiet -Sometimes the DJ plays the same song three times in an hour Generally, patrons who enter Level 3 Nightclubs are usually late 20's or early 30's I would say. However, everyone is welcome of course. If you're looking for a decent night out, have some money and don't really wanna mingle with 'young' people too much, I would recommend this.

Great and safe environment. Amazing hip hop djs with regular African sounds sessions. Security is everywhere and people are generally respectful of each others personal space. Great night out place for friends, Hens, stag dos and get togethers.

Don't waste money going for their Saturday so called electric night. I tried for the 2nd time both on Saturday night. The crowd n music sucks. Not real house music. This place has no crowd. Go some where else.
