Interesting pub with lavish interior. Food has gone downhill recently but still good for long lunches or afternoon beer sessions.

Not even deserving of one star. This venue and their staff are complicit in the violent hate speech and verbal abuse perpetrated towards members of the LGBTQI+ community by patrons. Do not go here if you want to feel safe.

The Doutta Galla Hotel, what can I say! It’s a classic Victorian pub with a great selection of beer and food! The staff were friendly and inviting and the food was great value and well sized! Overall we had a great experience and I can highly recommend this pub for a great counter meal and drink!

One of the best pubs is Melbourne Large, very light and airy Lots of rooms to try, great old leather seating to relax in. Plus pool to place. Functions room too, which was being used for a Christening at the time. Fanatic selection of beers, including one of my favourites: Stomping Ground Pale Ale (brewed locally on northern Melbourne) Food always great. Had the eye fillet steak, cook to perfection with a lovely like pear salad and on the bed of Parmesan based mash potato - very nice Friendly and helpful staff, who where quick to serve Highly recommend this pub and thank you Looking forward to my next visit

Singapore noodles were good and they could even do it without garlic etc (meaning very flexible).Nice ambient atmosphere inside and on the corner of a tree lined street! Good and quick service but not consistent amount everyone. Also it would be great to see more vegetarian options. Definitely recommend.

Great old fashioned pub. Can't complain about a $22 steak dinner that left me feeling very full. Beers are cold and a great selection for those with varied tastes. Staff are super friendly. They had some great classic songs playing as well. A lot of Sydney pubs could take a leaf out of their book on how to treat customers. Highly recommend coming here for a bite to eat or a night out with friends.

Steak was a little undercooked (got rare instead of medium rare) but was good quality so I didn’t mind. Drinks fairly priced, spacious with indoor and outdoor sitting areas

Wednesday night Parma $15 Pint of Pirate Life IPA 7% $14 Love the atmosphere, great service, quick food, plenty of tap options. Definitely would recommend sitting in the main dining area, really bustling with the vintage vibe. Garlic Aioli available at each table too! Vego Parma available on Wednesday too!

Great service, amazing staffs, beautiful antique decor. Nice chips especially with their garlic aioli signature. Definitely will come back to try more food. One of my favourite place to chill with live performance in this suburb.

Perfect place for a date to be honest although I went with my mate lol, love the vibe there. Parma was spot on and the food was fresh and fully worth it. Recommend to try the buffalo wings as well. Will definitely drop in again.

For what can only be described as a cold mid winters day. The sun wanting to break through the clouds. With a Cozy surround soon to be found. Doutta Galla Hotel appears for the win. For a cozy lunch soon to be held within. Once the orders were managed to be had. Only minor confusions, news to be had. Sorted out efficiency is key. Onto the entrees, definitely. Chicken wings all around. Perfection is found. Crunchy and zesty. All but not found. On to the Mains, sure for a grin. Steaks succulent. And juicy indeed. Work colleagues outing to escape the office walls for lunch. Definitely did not disappoint. Laughter and warmth, bellys full of delight. Back to work. Motivated indeed. What a better way on a cold mid winters day.

In love with this pub because of its superb location near train station, & is easily accessible by trams. Always won’t hesitate to come back here for the happy hour drinks as well as their fish & chips, & steaks. Exterior of this hotel looks rather impressive, like a great old heritage preserved building. And the interior of which, & the ambience while chilling in the pub is cosy enough too. This is the reason why I’m one of their regulars from time to time whenever I’m somewhere around this area in Flemington.

I came here on Tuesday, which is steak night. On offer is the sirloin steak. I requested that my steak be medium rare. When the meal was served, I noticed that the fries were not crispy because they had been sitting in the sauce. The steak was overcooked by a notch, consistent with what other reviewers have commented. That means "medium rare" is cooked "medium." I recommend that you request your steak to be cooked one notch lower.

Quite literally the single most tasty, juicy, flavourful, crispy chicken burger I’ve ever encountered in my life. I genuinely think I started levitating off my chair as I took that first bite.

Good food in a cosy little location. Be wary of the portion sizes, this is a proper pub!! But the quality was good for the price and it was a lovely night out. Can recommend for some drinks with friends after work!

Been going here for years for their Tuesday steak nights. It's a nice atmosphere. They light a fire in the fireplace in the front room on cold nights. Recently, they've taken away online ordering for some reason, which I found very convenient. It was an easy way to see the list of options for each dish and what was available for drinks. Also, you now have to order food separately from the kitchen in the back, which they claim frees up the bar. But if they didn't remove online ordering, this wouldn't be an issue.
