Got recommended this place as we were from overseas. Waited forever outside to then have to pay $25 cash to enter (we all know what that means) atm charges a $10 admin fee. Huuuuge line for a cubical, most people using the cubicals have an option to stand which sucks for those who don't. Security inside the bathrooms "timing" those using the cubicals. Should probably rename the cubicals to "drug booths" 4 baggys in the one i used, was then asked for MDMA by 3 people on my way out. Floor was so gross I'm surprised my shoe didn't come off. Terrible atmosphere. And from what I've read of other reviews, I'm sure the owner will come back with a cocky remark and shut down my opinion

Absolutely horrendous club. Without a doubt one of the worst I've been to in Melbourne. Do not waste your time here. It's just another one of those terrible clubs like Revs and Perseverance. The music is horrible and the security here is just flatout mentally challenged. You will have a better time going to some place like Asian Beer Cafe. They don't charge entry there as well. Your local guide advises you to avoid this place at all costs! Beware!

Knocked back when I was sober. No reason given. My friends asked if we waited until we got to the door would we get let in and the bouncer told us no he'd knock us back and that we "were not getting in tonight". This was not an issue to do with wait times as we were willing to wait - our friends were inside. Bouncer appeared to be letting groups of only girls in so assume there was some profiling going on.

No idea what its like inside because you could only pay cash to get in, which is fine, I guess, we could've found an atm but honestly not sure why cash only... :/ but the bouncer ridiculed us for not having cash ready with us so we just left...

The sound system placement allows for a pretty small crowd in the front of the sound. More of a disco bar rather than a nightclub to me. Music could be a hit&miss, amateur DJs could be playing house and disco on the edge of commercial.

Have been to this venue a few times. When you are allowed in. Can be a good atmosphere, but can get very full and air conditioning mustn't work in the venue because it will get very humid and sweaty very quickly. Before you even get to the bar for a drink. Security are abysmal and could not give clear reasons to why we were denied entry. Apart from pointing at someone who was walking down the street, to saying "because". I don't believe I will return to this venue or recommend this venue to anyone. Even if it is the last place open on brunswick st. Do yourself a favour, go home.

Came to Glamourama to celebrate the final night of 2023! We purchased their bottomless drink tickets ($89) and ultimately it was well worth it. The staff were working tirelessly to ensure that everyone was seen to quickly, and that the place was kept orderly and in check. One big plus that Glamourama has is their amazing sound system. They have genuinely put in a lot of effort to how they make their DJs sound, and you can tell. Enjoyed every minute!

Only allow cash to get in, which is a massive inconvenience as there is no cash out atms nearby. Bouncer directed us to an area where there was no atm. Not happy.

Great staff, vibe and music. No pretentious people here. Have visited this place a few times and generally very happy with this venue. One small suggestion, last time we visited here the floor was very sticky and our shoes kept sticking to the floor. This hasn't happened before. Maybe next time you guys have an event during the day, maybe mop the floors in between patrons.

25 cash on door, 5 for cloakroom on 26/6, was all well worth it, loved the music choices. Only wish for next time is to have the lasers bounce off the disco ball, so much potential for dynamic reflection. Had a great time.

This nightclub is an absolute ripper, mate! As a true blue regular, I can't get enough of the bloody awesome atmosphere, the top-notch tunes, and the welcoming crew. The DJ's track selection always keeps me grooving!!

Tonight we tried to get in and they rejected us and told us to wait 30 minutes for no reason. I was with a bunch of older gentlemen to get in and show them the vibe. It was agesim and disgusting EDIT: Reply to owner; they were not intoxicated and instead of providing us with a clear response, we were given random wait times. We took the whole group and went to HER bar and did not have any issues. Our group was aged between 30-50 and it was only 6 of us. Your security team as shown in the photos, had no idea and were on a power trip. Your venue clearly only caters to certain people.

The employees, service, vibe and atmosphere created by Glam made Saturday night one to remember. Your team Bronte, Jet, Emet, Panarama, Sophie, Jack, Dion, Abby and we can’t forget the 2 blokes out front Dion and Ahmed are all legends. (Sorry to those I didn’t get to chat to or grab your name) low key all deserve big pay rises :))

The clubs atmosphere, layout and service were pretty good. However the DJ on Sunday, April 12 after 12am had no understanding of how to operate a dance floor. The “music” was like something out of GarageBand and it seemed like everyone was kind of lost on how to make the most of it. Overall a waste of a great venue and ambience.

Well I had an amazing night last Saturday. I'm definitely going to be coming back, the music was bang on with the DJ playing some absolute deep cuts. Felt like I was back in Europe for a second.

Best club hands down. The music and vibes are immaculate and staff are very lovely. A special mention to the security guard team who go above and beyond to assure the patrons are safe and feel comfortable.

Had a great night out a Glam, first time there and loved the vibe. Great service, fantastic dancefloor with a live DJ and well priced drinks. Hear it's even better on weekends! Can't wait to hit it again.

Sickest spot in Fitzroy for a Sunday night sesh. I’ve been to Glam a few times and every time it’s been a great night. They’ve got cheap cocktails and special drinks most nights which are really cheap for where they are in Fitzroy. I saw last Sunday they had beer pong set up as well which was fun. Even when Brunswick Street seems quiet, Glam is always pumping whenever I get up there so they must be doing something right. Sundays usually kick off a bit later but that’s perfect if you’re in hospo or are looking for a late one.

I had an absolute belter of a time! Great staff and florets music! I’ve been to various clubs around the world and this is up there with the best of them! I highly recommend!

Visited Glamorama for the first time for my 23rd birthday on 15 February 2020 and had an absolutely wonderful time! All of my mates had recommended Glamorama but I was weary as I had never been myself, but boy am I glad we did! The staff were amazing and the crowd was awesome, music was jamming and the venue is so great. My partner actually lost his wallet and phone that night (big night of course) and the amazing staff at Glam were so accommodating and helpful. They let us visit the venue after hours to have a final look and what do you know - his phone was in lost property! Another patron had also found his wallet and contacted him to collect it. Now if that doesn't restore your faith in humanity, I don't know what will. If it wasn't for the amazing staff and patrons, my birthday would have been a disaster. Glamorama has officially become my favourite venue, just after one visit! I will most certainly be attending many more times in the future.

Really crowded, too dark to find people, to load to talk. Really hard to get to the front of the bar. Might be really fun if you go on the right day.

nah not the best club tbh, went in one time with a girl and had no issues with security. place is kinda depressing and very dark and bathrooms are gross. best part of club is smoking room, met some cool ppl there tried to go in the other night and me n my friends was denied based on ethnicity (we are all indian) even when we r doing the right dress code felt humiliated cos we were only brown ppl in line and did not let us in

Seeing some of these reviews make me laugh as I’ve come to jam many times and witnessed the guards/venue get abuse for following simple RSA and refusing entry. Anyway this is a killer venue with awesome staff, great techno jams and CHEAP drink specials for the budget 😌😌. Been my fav club for a while!!

Not LGBTQIA+ friendly. My friend got filmed without her consent kissing another woman, and staff were really rude and dismissive. Avoid if you want to have fun like any straight person gets to without being treated like a spectacle and then not supported by security and management.
