Restaurant Japanese authentic restaurant

👍👍 Lovely, high quality Japanese home style food. Salmon sashimi was delicious and very fresh. All the entrees were delicious and tempura udon was great. It’s a tiny, cosy space. Nothing fancy, probably more geared towards take away. Enjoyed our meal there though. Would go back again. People often mention Japanese, fresh, good, delicious, bento,

Authentic Japanese food. They have been here for a while. Just drop by for lunch and check out the quality. Old shop but food is good.

Mixed sashimi was so fresh and delicious, it even glistened in the sun. Otherwise went for the pork katsu bento, chicken karaage and chicken teriyaki bento. I don't know what they did to it but the potato mash was amazing which is weird given that it was possibly the only non Japanese thing in the bento. Anyway the wagyu beef bento was unavailable, will go for it next time and you should too.

Incredibly authentic and friendly local Japanese restaurant! The highlight for us was definitely their daikufu dessert!

Small Japanese Cafe which serves sashimi, sushi, upon, ramen and Bento box meals. The food here is nice and the shashimi Bento box is a little more expensive than a karage chicken Bento box.

We had lunch at this nice little eatery. We were quite happy with everything we tried. The sashimi was fresh; grilled eggplant had just enough and the right flavours; pork katsu curry was delicious. We especially enjoyed the strawberry mochi. It was so soft and thinly wrapped around a very sweet strawberry. The black sesame cheesecake was nice too. My only criticism is that the serving sizes are very small and after spending quite a bit, we were still not completely satisfied.

Sushi is one of the best! Great value (of course we don't come here for the ambience - it's like a little simple neighbourhood takeaway joint, although they have limited seating).

Hidden gem. Outstanding food, very tasty and fresh. The hojicha cheesecake is a favourite & the strawberry mochi is really good too.

Best quality in their food, fresh and tasty. I like their mochi very much, delicious and fresh. Even you take away, the food still good.

Sashimi’s taste good and fresh. Was told desserts are self made and taste really great. Been here a couple of times post lock down and felt like food portion getting less each time we came here.

Food was delicious with the right amount of flavor. Serving portion a little smaller now though they tried to keep the price the same. Quality still good like before. Cosy restaurant with friendly staff. Staff seem to get along well too.

The menu here is simple, but food is 😋. I love their udon, the texture is 👍 and the soup is light. Their mochis are well loved by my children, especially the strawberry ones.

Friendly staff, nice Japanese food with a little modern touch. A bit more attention to interior would make this place 5 star! They do sushi platters I think on Sundays.

Literally one of my favourite japanese restaurants in melbourne. Eating food here takes me to japan. The staff are so lovely and their food brings so much warmth! Highly recommend this place for lunch if you are around the area!!!

Unpretentious, authentic Japanese food. Have tried most of the menu and have never been disappointed. Never leave without getting a strawberry mochi!

The food tastes better than the place look, we tried the hot food and the sushi bowl. The food taste great. The kitchen hygiene looks a little scary, not often seeing a Japanese kitchen this messy and dirty with knifes magnet to the wall and the wall looks very dirty and greasy due to the frying food in the open kitchen.

consistently good local favourite of ours. 3 of us had a sushi bento set, salmon terriyaki bento set and a tempura udon for dinner. All great, generous and fresh and loved the casual no fuss service.

Pre-ordered a sushi platter and it was really well made. Fresh ingredients and very tasty. Worth the price paid too. Highly recommend!
