This restraunt was recommended by family. Booked a Birthday celebration for my daughter and they send text messages coming back and forth 2 hrs prior to the booking, no table available and finally cancelled my booking. The food may well be great, but what a disgraceful experience. Would never spend my money here. Not even an apology. I will post there messages on another platform for people to view!

Possible hands down the worst chicken Parma that I ever had! So dry, that I am still not sure if it was a mock up order and was real chicken or some other meat! The kids pasta was more like a soup with starchy spaghetti swimming in it. Just avoid this place.

I'm not buying any bad reviews of the pizzas here. I just nabbed a large Diavolo on my way home and it was pretty much pizza perfection. Top quality ingredients and the most delicious base ever. Add to that their friendly and helpful staff and this one a winner. Just wish they were a bit closer to home!

Small but cozy and warm place with very friendly and helpful staffs. The place is a little bit out of the way for me coming from City but definitely worth the travel. Price wise is reasonable with good portion enough for 2-3 pax. Their prosciutto pizza as recommended by their staff was really good with fresh roquette and cherry tomatoes with generous portion of Parmesan cheese.

Enjoyed the veal and seafood pizza. Overall the food was cooked perfectly and of high quality. Seafood was spot-on, just wish there were more of it. First time eating a pizza with a zucchini/pesto base, it was different and nice. The dough was thin and used the wood fired oven properly. The portion of veal was small, felt more entree sized than the main. Staff were welcoming and caring.

Yesterday I visited Mulino Woofire Pizzeria and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed with my experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm smile and friendly attitude, which set the tone for the rest of my visit. The ambiance of the restaurant is inviting and cozy, with a rustic feel that adds to the overall charm. The wood-fired pizzas were simply outstanding! The crust was crispy on the outside and perfectly chewy on the inside, while the toppings were fresh and flavorful. I particularly enjoyed the Gorgonzola pizza, which was a perfect done right. Overall, I had an excellent experience at Mulino Woofire Pizzeria, and I will definitely be returning.

Beautiful Italian offering delicious home made gnocchi and tasty wood fired pizzas. We came here on a Friday night with friends who live around the corner and recommended Mulino. The home made gnocchi alla carbonara was a highlight and absolutely recommended to those who like a rich creamy pancetta sugo. Staff are very friendly and the dishes are served quickly.

After a sad experience with 400 gradi Eastland, this place made me so happy! Well priced, generous toppings on the pizza. Had the truffle mushroom pizza special and it made my heart sing. Seeing other tables, pastas are well portioned also! The wait staff were very attentive and kept apologising for delays, which was understandable as there were only 2 on the floor and taking phone orders, which is tough. But the delays were minimal, barely noticed it. They did an amazing job. I don't know why I haven't been coming to this place sooner. Will definitely make Mulino a regular go-to place. Thank you for the delicious dinner. We will be back

Heard very good things about it. Maybe an off night but wasn’t anything special. Staff were very inattentive despite I think 5 people in the restaurant dining at the time. They were thirsty - kept pouring themselves drinks though even though the customers were thirsty 🥹 The main dishes were quite nice if nothing too memorable. But they had delicious flavour. But the pizzas which were apparently the stars of everything we’ve read and heard weren’t great. The fungi pizza had an odd taste and was missing something to make it work. Would give it another shot perhaps but the dine in experience wasn’t too great.

I wanted to try their food for so long, but my husband always wanted dirt cheap pizza next door. Finally, I had a good excuse for a gourmet pizza. I ordered the seafood pizza served with pesto and mozzarella and the Sicilian pizza. Both tasted so delicious. The scallop and tiger prawn were so fresh, and the pesto and mozzarella combination was spot on with a tad of spiciness. I actually prefer the Sicilian pizza as the spicy ham and capsicum again were so fresh i could taste the sweetness. My husband loved the pizzas, too, except he thought the crust was a bit chewy. I didn't find that an issue. Maybe it's because we ordered as takeaway, and we didn't have it straight away. Next time, I would try it at the restaurant to prove my husband wrong.

The quality of the topping on pizzas has changed for the worse. Salami changed cheese has changed olives have changed. Understand when you had a great pizza don't alter the toppings. Changes the flavours. We stopped a 2-3 time a week visit to no longer .

Recently, my partner and I decided to have our date night at Mulino Pizza, and overall, it was a mixed experience. The ambiance was cozy, with about 6-7 other diners and one waitress on duty. Initially, the service was prompt as the waitress quickly provided us with water, later she seemed more focused on chatting and laughing with the pizza chef than attending to customers. When we finally ordered, she asked whether, if we prefer the dishes served together, which reminded us of a Chinese restaurant rather than an Italian one. I thought it was etiquette for the entree to be served first, then the other courses. Additionally, it seemed like there may have been a change in the kitchen staff, as the saucing on the Spaghetti Marinara was different, and the timing on the pasta was slightly off. However, it wasn't all bad news. The arancini and the pizza, which we ordered as well, tasted as delicious as usual. Despite the service hiccups and minor inconsistencies in the food, Mulino Pizza still offers tasty Italian fare worth trying.

My go-to pizza for dinner! Fresh ingredients and reliable pizza that tastes consistently good! Always super busy so book ahead and allow time for delivery. The cheese and garlic focaccia is delicious and you can’t go wrong with their classic Margherita pizza. My favourite is the Sicilian pizza.

Hope you guys get your kitchen organised. Food was a bit of a let down. Pizza was burnt and had no seasoning, pizza chef really needs to focus and stop being on his mobile phone. Chicken parma was horrible. Chicken had no seasoning and was flavourless. The chips were all bits from the bottom of the bag and the salad was just bad! To just cut up tomatoes in random shapes, with dirty mixed salad and a vinagrette that tasted like water. The polenta chips were soggy & meatballs were grey and tasteless. Every dish we did not finish. Chefs were emotionless like the food. Get your chefs to taste the food. John the previous owner was all about the details. Kitchen was connected with the customer. Chefs would say hello and be interested in how your meal was. If 40% of the food is left on the plate, maybe ask the customer if everything is ok or check what your chefs have done.

Went on a Wednesday night and the atmosphere felt like a Saturday night! It was cosy lively, warm and welcoming. The staff were very friendly and gave great advice on what to get. The polenta chips is a MUST! And any pizza you get has a thin base and are very generous in portion size. 1 pasta, 1 pizza and entree is plenty for 2.

We, a large group of family members, recently dined at Mulino, and it was a five-star experience from start to finish. The variety of dishes they offer is simply impressive, but it's their woodfired pizzas that truly stole the show. Each bite was a burst of flavor, and the crust had that perfect balance of crispy and chewy. What made the evening even more enjoyable was the incredibly friendly staff. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and ensure we had everything we needed. Their knowledge of the menu and recommendations added to the overall enjoyment of the meal. The ambiance of the restaurant was cozy and inviting, making it a great spot for a family gathering, romantic dinner or a night out with friends. I highly recommend this woodfired pizza restaurant. It's a true gem, and I can't wait to return for more pizzas.

Excellent meals. Really excellent. Try the calamari, egg plant parmigiana and the spaghetti marinara. Ambiance is not super. Could do without the background music. BUT THE FOOD IS TRUELY EXCELLENT. FIVE STARS. 😊😊

Mulinos never disappoints. They’re a great local with very tasty and value for money Italian food! We’re fussy and they always service very wholesome homely food with a smile on their face. You must try their savoury pizzas and Nutella pizza! Grazie Mulinos!

The pizza I got was a bit average, I expected a lot more based on the reviews. Toppings a decent size but I love mushroom and their Mulino special unfortunately had close to no mushrooms on it. The base was a little soggy, not crispy and floppy and hard to eat. The ladies at the front not really welcoming, didn’t smile or seem friendly. Don’t think I would be back.

What a good find. Went to Mulino for the first time and was glad we did. The venue was almost at capacity (a reassuring sign of good food), it was buzzing with chat as well as clinks of glasses and cutlery. The food did not disappoint. Instead of mains, we tried the starters so we could taste-test a number of the dishes. Everything we had was served hot, cooked the way we like and really tasty. We wanted more of their flavours but were too full. Wait staff were very friendly, as was the young woman at the front of house. I want to particularly praise her telephone manner. When we made our booking, she was great representative for Mulino. Now that we have found this place, we will be back - this time to try their pizzas. Definitely recommended.

The best woodfore pizza in Melbourne. I've been here twice now, and can't fault anything. Blistery thin crust dough that isn't soggy in the centre. Excellent table service, the staff are on the ball with filling up table water, checking in with you and food doesn't take long. Can be a little bit noisy with large groups, but we asked them to turn the music down as our table and they happily did. I booked in advance for four on a thursday night, and was glad I did as they were busy. Thanks for a great feed, we will be back again.

Diavolo pizza was actually spicy (chefs kiss)! Food was superb. Gnocchi was demolished by our family. Kids loved the spaghetti con polpette. Desserts were a treat. Would recommend - we will order again for sure!

Awesome food ! We had an amazing pizza with a side of chilli oil. The pasta was okay, we ordered a ragu, but it didn't seem thick enough to get that really rich flavour. Still nice though. Only downfall was challenging at times to get the young waitstaffs attention.

Amazing food! I ordered the gnocchi sorrentino and it is one of the best I’ve ever tried. Also, the tiramisu is a generous size and taste home made. 5 stars! A great local place that is walking distance to my place

I had takeaway Mulino special to support the local businesses. I only gave 2 stars for the base and sauce. The pizza barely had anything on it. Only a few pieces of shaved ham, shaved salami only one mushroom chopped finely and a little onion. Nearly no cheese on it. I had it like bread with salad. I do not recommend it.

I’m sure the food is fine but don’t try and order online. Apparently the printer breaking and then never getting our order is the customers fault. The guy up front was lovely but little to no apologies on an order placed 30 minutes ago. I’m sure they get plenty of business ( it was busy!) so won’t miss ours.
