We've
shopped
at
the
Moorabbin
Costco
several
times
now
and
purchased
fuel
there
a
few
times.
They
have
their
own,
free
outdoor
parking.
You
cannot
enter
COSTCO,
even
to
look
around,
unless
you
are
a
paid
up
member,
$65
a
year,
or
a
guest
of
a
member.
This
is
NOT
the
place
to
come
for
a
few
odd
items.
You
come
here
to
buy
large
quantities
of
things.
A
large
number
of
items
are
recognisable
brands,
in
bulk
quantities,
and
a
lot
of
COSTCOs
own
brands.
An
INSANE
range
of
products!!!
Jewellery,
diamond
rings
etc,
with
some
items
over
$5000.00,
gold
bullion,
a
500gm
ingot
for
around
$43,000.00.
COFFINS!!!,
Solar
panels,
Artificial
Lawns,
Sheds
and
Gazebos,
COFFINS!
Blinds
and
Shutters,
all
with
delivery
and
installation
available.
Onsite
Optician
and
Audiologist
testing
with
prescription
glasses,
contact
lenses
and
hearing
aids.
Car
tyres
and
fitting,
Garden
Sheds,
Sporting
goods,
clothes,
shoes,
fresh
groceries,
baked
goods,
meat,
dairy,
wine
and
spirits,
cleaning
products,
whitegoods,
appliances,
Apple
phones,
computers,
cleaning
products,
automotive
items
etc
etc
etc,
etc,
etc!!!!!
Almost
anything
you
can
think
of.
Plus
2
of
the
Melbourne
COSTCOs
sell
discounted
fuel,
in
Moorabbin
and
Epping
only.
Not
everything
is
cheaper
though!
Some
branded
items
are
very
slightly
cheaper,
so
considering
the
inconvenience
of
paying
and
having
to
carry
and
find
storage
for
large
quantities
negates
any
saving.
However
SOME
items
are
a
lot
cheaper,
real
savings
are
available
if
you
know
how
much
things
cost
"outside".
We
bought
a
few
of
their
heat
and
eat,
prepared
meals,
Chicken
Tom
Yum
soup,
Quesadillas,
Chilli
Con
Carne,
Pork
Knuckles,
etc.
So
far
each
has
been
really
delicious,
home
cooked/restaurant
quality,
and
I
think
good
value.
This
is
a
HUGE
barn
of
a
place,
and
just
walking
around
the
entire
store,
with
the
giant
sized
trolleys,
can
be
exhausting
if
you
don't
know
where
everything
is.
There
is
an
onsite
canteen
selling
cheap
food
and
drinks.
Pizzas,
fried
chicken
and
hot
dogs.
ie:
A
large
(very
tasty)
house
brand
hotdog
is
$1.99
including
a
large
"bottomless"
soft
drink
from
the
self
serve
bar.
We've
shopped
a
few
times
now
and
rarely
take
less
than
2
hours
to
get
around
the
store
and
it's
generally
for
more
unusual
items.
As
long
as
you
have
the
storage
their
bulk
products,
baked
goods,
meat,
seafood
and
prepared
meals
have
ALL
been
excellent,
restaurant
quality,
tasty
and
fresh
and
well
worth
the
cost.
Definitely
the
place
you
can
go
to
for
a
big
shop
up,
or
if
you
have
a
large
family,
business
etc.
