Absolutely disgraceful service from Jason. Went to buy a battery, was suggested the wrong type. Showed him a photo, it was clearly seen that the battery is a different type. My previous battery was from Costco as well and the bar code was clearly seen on the photo. So I found the same barcode on the shelf, but Jason kept insisting on selling me the wrong type. I ended up bringing him the old battery, which matched the exactly what I picked and was completely different size from what he was suggesting. He didn’t even apologise. I think this cnut is trolling customers on purpose.

Good for bulk buys. Annual membership secures great prices. Busy at the checkouts today. Tyres. Hearing aids. Car batteries. Optical. Diesel/Petrol. Roast Chickens. Pizza. Coffins. They got it all. Fuel depot scans your card to activate the pump.

It is an excellent store, there is a great variety of electrical and technological products, in fact there are some products that are not sold here in Australia yet but Costco has already brought them, the food is in good condition and preserved, and some are in freezers. Which are very good, in terms of automotive products and services, they only sell tires and batteries that they also install it for you. Different brands clothing and the food area is very good, cheap prices and with good taste 👍😮 Finally, you cannot access if you do not have a memberships.

Love it. Look just go for a hotdog or pizza to be honest. Great priced food. Great move taking all tables out. Hopefully you keep them away because it just makes that food court area so much nicer. Look always a hit and miss with what you have on sale. It’s always great prices. I like that you always have the staples and okay I do love that it’s a mystery what other items you will have on sale. Just got the salted Carmel cheesecake. Look I’m a fan others not so much. Also get choc chip cookie dough. Eat the rub. Like on the spot. Eat it raw it’s amazing

So, long time buyer who was always happy with the products Costco provides. First time actually interacting with customer service and it was...an experience. For those who don't know, Costco checks *everyone's* receipt as they leave and as it happens, this time I had accidentally thrown mine out with some serviettes. Thus I discovered I could not leave with my single $16.00 item until I had satisfied the staff that I had paid for it. To quote: “you can get the receipt, or you can leave the item” How do I get the receipt? Surely it would be trivial as they scanned my card and my purchase..not even close. Couldn't say where I checked out as they had closed registers since I wen; so that option wasn’t there and wasn’t exactly gonna start lining up randomly. I tried a cursory search through the bins to no success. Wend back and basically forced the issue of how I could leave with my purchase. It was then I discovered the fix: the store manager has to decide if you are a thief or not, either via their own intuition, or video footage. “It's the policy” So why 2 stars? Technically, nothing is wrong with the product or the staff, they must be commended for following both the letter of the policy as well as its spirit: “Shoppers are thieves until proven otherwise” So, if you are happy shopping under the assumption of being a crook, this is the place for you.

Costco food has to be reviewed against what it promises not against other restaurants. Basically, it is dirt cheap fast food. You really can’t expect a gourmet experience for a $1.99 hot dog or a $6.99 chicken burger. It’s nice to see a few new items on the menu after many years of same-old same-old.

COSTCO Wholesale in Moorabbin has got to be my favourite out of all the COSTCO's I've been to, with the added Petrol Station with really competitive prices a membership is a must, some times I find myself just going in to the store for a cheap Hot Dog and a Drink haha, the food court is a nice feature with some pretty good cheap stuff, the Fried Chicken is great to take home and reheat, I actually think it's better that way to be honest, the Pizza is not really my cup of tea though, I found it to be too Doughy for my liking, There is sooo much stuff at COSTCO it can be a bit overwhelming at first, but once you get to know the store and what's around, it's absolutely fantastic, I Highly Recommend getting a membership and seeing for yourself.

We've shopped at the Moorabbin Costco several times now and purchased fuel there a few times. They have their own, free outdoor parking. You cannot enter COSTCO, even to look around, unless you are a paid up member, $65 a year, or a guest of a member. This is NOT the place to come for a few odd items. You come here to buy large quantities of things. A large number of items are recognisable brands, in bulk quantities, and a lot of COSTCOs own brands. An INSANE range of products!!! Jewellery, diamond rings etc, with some items over $5000.00, gold bullion, a 500gm ingot for around $43,000.00. COFFINS!!!, Solar panels, Artificial Lawns, Sheds and Gazebos, COFFINS! Blinds and Shutters, all with delivery and installation available. Onsite Optician and Audiologist testing with prescription glasses, contact lenses and hearing aids. Car tyres and fitting, Garden Sheds, Sporting goods, clothes, shoes, fresh groceries, baked goods, meat, dairy, wine and spirits, cleaning products, whitegoods, appliances, Apple phones, computers, cleaning products, automotive items etc etc etc, etc, etc!!!!! Almost anything you can think of. Plus 2 of the Melbourne COSTCOs sell discounted fuel, in Moorabbin and Epping only. Not everything is cheaper though! Some branded items are very slightly cheaper, so considering the inconvenience of paying and having to carry and find storage for large quantities negates any saving. However SOME items are a lot cheaper, real savings are available if you know how much things cost "outside". We bought a few of their heat and eat, prepared meals, Chicken Tom Yum soup, Quesadillas, Chilli Con Carne, Pork Knuckles, etc. So far each has been really delicious, home cooked/restaurant quality, and I think good value. This is a HUGE barn of a place, and just walking around the entire store, with the giant sized trolleys, can be exhausting if you don't know where everything is. There is an onsite canteen selling cheap food and drinks. Pizzas, fried chicken and hot dogs. ie: A large (very tasty) house brand hotdog is $1.99 including a large "bottomless" soft drink from the self serve bar. We've shopped a few times now and rarely take less than 2 hours to get around the store and it's generally for more unusual items. As long as you have the storage their bulk products, baked goods, meat, seafood and prepared meals have ALL been excellent, restaurant quality, tasty and fresh and well worth the cost. Definitely the place you can go to for a big shop up, or if you have a large family, business etc.

I bought 2 boxes of Sanpellegrino Orange Pomegranate from Costco Moorabbin (20:05pm 07/02/2022) When I got home I found the boxes were wet with rotten body smell! I picked up some cans and found maggots on them! Super super disgusting! SEE ATTACHED PICTURES! I almost threw up and had to throw away all the cans! I've emailed this matter to Moorabbin warehouse the same day, but haven’t heard anything from them a whole week! It Seems customers’ experience doesn’t mean a thing to them.

Step into the bustling aisles of Costco Morabin, a retail paradise that promises an unforgettable shopping experience. As you enter, the sheer size of the store engulfs you, with towering shelves reaching towards the heavens, laden with an endless array of products. Your senses are immediately awakened by the symphony of sounds and sights. The aroma of freshly baked goods wafts through the air, tempting you to indulge in a sweet treat. The vibrant colors of fresh produce catch your eye, inviting you to explore a cornucopia of fruits and vegetables that promise both nourishment and flavor. The hustle and bustle of shoppers fills the space, creating an energetic atmosphere. Shopping carts glide along the polished floors, laden with oversized packages and hidden treasures waiting to be discovered. Everywhere you turn, friendly staff members are ready to assist, their knowledge and enthusiasm guiding you through the retail maze. Venturing further into the store, you encounter the treasure trove of bulk goods that Costco is renowned for. Towering stacks of merchandise await, offering incredible value for money. From household essentials to electronics, clothing to appliances, the options seem limitless. You find yourself marveling at the sheer variety, feeling a sense of excitement as you uncover hidden gems and score unbeatable deals. One of the standout features of Costco Morabin is its sampling stations, scattered throughout the store like oases of delight. Here, you can tantalize your taste buds with an array of culinary delights, from savory cheeses and artisanal meats to decadent desserts. Each bite is a glimpse into the world of gastronomic pleasures, a momentary escape from the hustle and bustle of the shopping experience. As you navigate the store, you can't help but be amazed by the efficiency and organization that permeate every corner. The neatly arranged displays, the strategic placement of products, and the seamless checkout process all contribute to a streamlined shopping journey. It's a testament to the dedication and meticulousness of the Costco team, ensuring that your experience is nothing short of exceptional. While Costco Morabin offers an extensive range of products and an invigorating shopping environment, I must admit that the sheer size of the store can be overwhelming at times. Navigating the expansive aisles and locating specific items may require a bit of extra effort. However, this minor inconvenience is quickly overshadowed by the excitement of discovering new products and enjoying the incredible savings that Costco offers. In conclusion, Costco Morabin is a retail haven that promises an adventure for the senses. From the vibrant colors to the enticing aromas, every visit is an opportunity to indulge in a retail experience like no other. Whether you're stocking up on household essentials, hunting for bargains, or simply enjoying the thrill of the hunt, Costco Morabin is a destination that won't disappoint.

Great place for buying in bulk! Prices are competitive with specials at supermarket , their mince for 9.99 a kilo is top quality. Impulse buying can get out of control though! Seasonal decorations on offer are always a highlight

New photo added. (The last one.) Another chunk of meat in beef Bulgogi. Whoever packing this product obviously don't care. I could just buy a chunk of meat bit cheaper and slice muself then. Seriously 😑 This is my local Costco. Shop regularly and very happy about all but bit shocked to get this chunk of meat in Korean marinated beef. Supposed to be sliced..... I'm sure person who packed this noticed about this but obviously didn't care... 🤣🤣 Canteen food are all yummy but not very hygieneclly clean. One touches her fave and head with both hands, one was moving ladder around the kitchen (for cleaning) made my coffee with the same cloves on 😝🤮 not very clean.

This is my regular Costco, well worth the journey up from the regional area I live in. Was here on the 23rd of April to purchase some Square pay readers and docks, had Matthew help me find them on the floor and let me know that they had stock on hand for collection at the merchandise window. After paying, Wendy at the merchandise window had some trouble locating them, she called in Kevin and they both went above and beyond in trying to locate them, thankfully the food court was close by and in short order they came up to deliver them to me. Have been a member of Costco for many years and the customer service is always fantastic! Great selection of goods at great prices, often in bulk, that being said they won’t always be the cheapest but the member discounted items from week to week can certainly help with the savings. Have previously bought the big playground that they have on display and two years later it looks brand new and definitely worth the cost. Membership cost $60 for gold star and $55 for business, with a 100% customer satisfaction guarantee where they will return the membership cost if not satisfied. The food court is amazing with the Hotdogs and soda with free refills costing $1.99.

Signed up and nobody verbally tells you that the fuel pumps will be closed May 1st-June 13th. Waited 15 minutes for a hotdog and there is no ketchup, no onion and the place is a mess. No choice of soft drink because the machines are ALL broken and they are handing out Pepsi cans. All I wanted was access to affordable fuel and a hotdog. Apparently you have to turn up on the right day of the year to get those things. Total chaos. Waste of time and money. Staff offered a refund, cheers but now I have to go wait somewhere else for lunch. Car park is overflowing with trolleys, virtually nowhere to park. Absolute joke!!!

Great Costco. Generally high quality products in extra large sizes. Very busy but fast service. Lots of parking, though can be difficult to get parking at peak times on the weekend. Be careful in the carpark as many people leave their trolleys in random locations within the carpark. No hand sanitizers around food area which is disappointing.

The lady name "HA" (if I'm not wrong) was amazing staff while some are not bother to say 'hi' to you or helping you at check out. She's absolutely helpful, I dont need to take stuffs out of trolley even small one, she did all within 2 mins with very 'happy smile' The company should hire more people like her if want tobto the customer's satisfaction.

The staff at Moorabbin are absolutely amazing. Many thanks to Ryan for such a pleasant shopping experience. I travel quite far every month to do a big shop for my family and every time I’m at Costco, Ryan has always been extremely helpful. He’s really fast and efficient at the checkout, always packs my trolley neater than I do and was willing to assist me to my car after that. Great stuff, keep up the good work!!

Stay away from Chandi. Extremely ill-mannered. Long story short, I travelled a long distance just to renew my membership (this Costco was the closest) because I've had technical issues renewing it online where they've charged me twice. When I went to see Chandi at the membership desk, he bluntly said if I don't plan on shopping here frequently, don't bother renewing or coming back... I'm doing you a favour by renewing my membership when other supermarkets don't charge you a fee for entering their doors. They don't even limit their products like eggs. I never said or did anything offensive in any way, yet he's already looking at me as if I can't afford to be a member... how rude. I tried to ask him if there were any promotions for signing up and he literally just ignored me and walked off chatting to another staff member. This isn't the first time I've had to deal with rude staff members at the membership desk. Costco Moorabbin, please train your staff to treat its members with respect. Oh and Chandi, if you're going to smoke, please don't do it at the entrance door. You have "no smoking" signs up for a reason, follow your own policies and stop tarnishing the business.

Huge place to buy all products in the bigger size. Variety of items and services available. Everything comes in big sizes and is very good for big families. Bakery produce sweet treats and bread. Cakes are so good and placed for great price. The deli provides with platters of sandwiches, mini burgers and sushi great for gatherings and functions. There's a big cafe at the exit with good food also in big sizes. Huge pizzas, hot dogs with refills and big sundaes ? all for very good price. Chocolates are available in big quantities for comparatively good prices, good for gifts abroad. Very nice and well maintained site with huge parking space.

Great place to do your shopping with an amazing huge variety to choose from of any item. From dry goods to frozen you'll definitely find something you need plus something you don't need. This place is like a department store cross with a supermarket, it has so many things like clothes, tv , spas, shoes, palm trees and the list goes on. The great thing about this place is you can get a membership as a family, not just as a business, I always thought you could only get a membership with an ABN but for $60 you can purchase a years membership with that comes an additional card for someone else in your family or friend that lives at your address how good is that huh! Overall great place to shop at with plenty parking opportunities for all types of vehicles. They even have their own petrol station. So after shopping you can fuel up and head home or back to work. This place also has an in-store restaurant/ cafe where you can grab some great tasty American foods, I tried the amazing Southern fried chicken burger and a mango sorbet which was sooooo bloody good. Keep up the great work guys, I'll definitely be back soon for another go.......

I love this chain of stores! You can already prepare for Christmas! My partner and his friends are very fond of the gas station nearby (the price is great!!!!). You can pay for the goods you have chosen quickly, even if there are a lot of people, the workers work quickly!!!! sometimes you can taste products!! but there is a small BUT, not all products can be found here, and yet it does not upset. Here you can always make purchases for the future at a good price!!!! I highly recommend to everyone!!!

Costco is an absolute gem for shoppers seeking both quality and value. The wide range of products they offer, from groceries to electronics, is impressive. The bulk packaging not only saves money but also reduces the need for frequent trips. The store's organized layout and helpful staffs. And let's not forget the fantastic food court – affordable and delicious! If you haven't checked out Costco yet, you're missing out on a shopping haven that truly delivers on its promise of quality, quantity, and great deals

Nice place to buy groceries in bulk. Plus you have a choice of electronics, phone, gold jewellery, plus a host of other things. Great shopping experience. But be prepared to walk all the ailes as they are not item sign posted. You have to search for items in different ailes too. Usually, you will not see any staff in the shop floor except for check outs & demonstration desks.

I enjoy the IKEA style shopping experience applied to a wide range of products. The shopping experience is quite relaxing although hard to move through during busy times. Food is quite cheap, but pretty average. Infinite refill and sausages is a pretty good deal. Plus the giant pizzas. Extra large parking space is great

Highly recommend their marinated sliced beef and buffalo wings with blue cheese dip are the best! The kids love to taste test the food there and then we end up buying more of we don’t need. Lol. Costco is great, it is big it is clean neat and tidy. There are many bargains through out the warehouse, there are people at the end of some of the aisles cooking food to Sample and try before you buy. There are many brands not available in our regular supermarkets,. Sometimes the prices are no different to a normal catalogue sale price but can be more beneficial buying in bulk

Nice place if you want to buy in bulk. But I have analysed the prices overall and it's not that big difference if you compare costco,, coles and Woolworths.

  • 1/5 John H. 3 years ago on Google
Unfortunately, Costco is no longer a desirable place to shop. The quality of their food offer is mediocre at best. The Australian green prawns were awful, with many inedible with rotten heads and black spots on cooking. The French Brie was rancid with a strong slimy ammonia smell on opening the package. The prices on their bulk meats are uncompetitive. The whole eye fillet retails for $48 per kilo, where you are able to buy a superior quality fillet at our local butcher ( Mt Eliza Village Meats) for $32 per kilo. Every fruit and vegetable can be purchased at a better price at Henry’s Mercato in Frankston, with the ability to buy what you require rather silly prepacked quantities that just rot in the fridge. This is the classic example of why we should revert back to buying local instead of these false economy no service sheds. And the need to pay $60 per annum to be treated like cattle, no thanks.

Huge place, ok prices, definitely worth the look of you have a big family. Just keep in mind your budget and that your buying in bulk, know your prices or you can rip yourself off. The membership system is a joke and overt priced. Requiring a membership to shop anywhere is a outdated marketing trick.

I don’t normally write reviews but thank you so much Shannon for your help, was very surprised when she called me back to notify me my prescription sunglasses had be found, I’ll be honest, I didn’t think she would bother to but definitely saved my trip in Melbourne from turning to a blind daze!
