The scrawlings of twenty or thirty names below the phrase 'These are the people who have helped us' adorned the otherwise unnotable fridge at Bulleen Kebabs. This got me thinking, as we progress through the various stages of our lives it's important to remember those who have assisted us on our journey. I like to think we all have our own list of people who we will always owe a debt of gratitude, a debt where the object should not always be to pay it back, but instead to pay it forward at any given opportunity. Thousands of "small acts of goodness" can make a difference, even though the world's problems often seem too big to change. I came for a kebab, but I was going to be leaving with some much needed food for thought. I ordered a kebab combo that arrived fast and fresh. The doner looks like it was sourced from Tek Foods and they rule the roost when it comes to Melbourne doner. The meat was hot, the salads were crisp and cold and the chips were strangely shoestring in size. This may seem negative at first, but I was pleasently surprised with how well shoestring fries worked with a kebab. They tasted delicious. I wish I tried the HSP as my friends looked appetizing to say the least. This was my first visit and very regrettably maybe my last, as I do not frequent the area often, but much like the people who have helped me along the way, maybe I should put in a little extra effort and check in from time to time.

The best value HSP you can get locally. Good size , consistent and tasty. Thin cut chips tops it up.. They make good kebabs too, Very friendly staff. I would recommend this place.

Delicious Persian style kebab, grilled tomato and chilli, onion salad with sumac and bread to top it off. True taste of the middle east. I thought I was overseas for a minute. Great customer service. 10/10 keep it up...

The best Kobideh kebab that I have eaten in Melbourne so far. Pretty quick, very friendly and polite stuff. Good was quality very satisfying. Small place but worth of dinning in if you want to enjoy eating a proper kebab.

Arguably one of the best kebabs that I have had so far. The environment give of a nostalgic vibe and the best costumer service is provided by the staff. One of their best members is vala who has been nothing but the best. Definitely recommended as a go to when you crave kebab 😉

Really impressed by the GSP pack I had. This was my first time trying this place and was definitely a good first impression. Quality meats and the sauces have some bite to it which is a nice change. I recommend this spot for sure 👍

I've had a heavenly experience with the Koobideh kebab at Bulleen Kebab. The quality of the meat was exceptional, perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. Each mouthful was a burst of rich, savory flavors that left me craving more. The chicken souvlaki and falafel souvlaki were absolutely delicious! The restaurant's commitment to serving yummy food and using high-quality meat will undoubtedly keep me coming back for more. I highly recommend Bulleen Kebab dishes to everyone.

Went here a few months ago, thin cut chips on a HSP? Never been anywhere else which does this and am not a fan, definitely prefer the normal cut chips on a HSP any day. Apart from that, the lamb was nice and chips were crunchy so can't fault that part of it.

Have tried all the kebab joints around Balwyn, North Balwyn, Bulleen, Templestowe, Lower Templestowe and since 2019 have found the kebab at Bulleen Kebab as the best. Thankfully they have maintained the standards. The quantity & quality is very good. Keep up the standards & I’ll keep driving extra bit to buy kebab only from you. All the best.

It took 30min for a kebab and felafel😳 in very quiet time (5pm). They like casual staff and even asking each other where are sauce, bread. $50 for small portions. 😐

Best kebabs in Bulleen by far. Best in the plaza, no others come close. Friendly staff, food made with love and very generous portion sizes. Thank you. Highly recommend

Ordered a kebab with garlic sauce and bbq sauce. Received no sauce at all. Also barely any salad. Didn’t taste nice, regretted ordering from here and will not be back at all.

Tabbouleh appeared to have no dressing as it was completely dry and made with curly parsley instead of flat leaf so ended up not eating it. Chips were good. Falafel just OK. Probably would not go back especially not for the price.

Most expensive kebab in Melbourne. It's not even worth of $5.only you can find onion 80 percent and wee bit little geen slad and chicken. The restaurant it's self pretty dirty and smileyAnd also the lady was making kebab not even hygiene.pretty bad I just wast my money for nothing.

We love Bulleen Kebab. Their food is constantly up to the standard and absolutely delicious. The staff is very friendly and nice.

More expensive than other places. Paid $40 for a large HSP. Normally $20 at other places. The taste was good.

This was my first time experience there , I didn't like the customer service, they charge you for extra sauce and when I asked to have some tomato sauce , they gave me just a bit of that and if I wanted ti have more I had to pay for it. Also the price is high.

Bread, salads & sauces tasted very good but the meat was awful it tasted so overly processed & salty I felt I was eating fake lamb/meat it had the taste of like meat you find in the tins, I could not finish it and stomach turned. I have tasted 1000s of kebabs in my life and I know the difference between good quality meat and not good quality. You charge $12 which is not cheap in comparison to the kebab shops i buy from in the Northern suburbs where they charge $7 and it’s a lot bigger & quality of the meat is thousands times better, I understand different suburbs will have different prices due to rent so the very least you can do is purchase better quality meat & don’t make the excuse because of Covid suppliers are not operating. YES they are! People in the area will say it’s good because most of them are not from a background that understands the difference of what is a good tasting kebab or isn’t. You are taking advantage of people by serving poorly tasting meat!!!
