Hotel
Les
Trois
Rois
is
a
real
treasure
from
the
past.
We
did
the
Le
Roi
Gourmet
package
for
my
birthday
celebration
and
it
was
just
wonderful.
It
included
a
table
at
Cheval
Blanc,
an
overnight
stay
at
a
river
suite
with
a
breakfast
and
surprise
gift.
This
Riverside
hotel
is
charming,
classy
and
luxurious
from
check
in
to
the
check
out.
Apparently,
It
is
a
historical
landmark
in
Switzerland
and
rich
in
history
with
many
famous
&
elite
figures
stayed
here
over
the
years.
They
comprehensively
rebuilt
and
remodeled
the
hotel
in
2004
but
still
kept
its
alluring
and
glamorous
character.
Walking
into
the
corridors,
halls
and
rooms,
you
get
a
feeling
you
are
in
the
late
1800s
to
the
early
1900s.
The
view
from
the
riverside
suite
is
magnificent.
Decor
and
interior
design
is
classic
retro
French.
Ambience
is
warm
&
cozy.
Staff
were
all
very
nice,
friendly,
polite
and
courteous.
The
Hotel
has
a
3
Michelin
starred
restaurant
“Cheval
Blanc
by
Peter
Knogl”
which
I
reviewed
separately.
Brasserie
is
classic
and
more
casual,
offers
daily
breakfast
which
we
enjoyed
as
hotel
guests.
Lobby
Bar
and
terrace
is
relaxing
and
offers
cocktails
and
afternoon
tea
in
a
majestical
setting.
Concierge
staff
was
very
helpful
in
suggesting
sightseeing
and
activities
while
in
town.
There’s
a
mini
gym
in
the
basement
which
I
didn’t
expect
in
such
an
establishment
but
was
a
nice
touch,
it
faced
the
wine
cellar
as
well
which
was
kinda
interesting.
The
surprise
gift
from
Chef
Peter
Knogl
was
a
silver
plated
spoon
from
Robbe
&
Berking
Silber
with
his
name
engraved
on
it
accompanied
by
a
nice
note
from
the
Chef.
Overall,
we
had
a
sensational
experience
at
Hotel
Les
Trois
Rois
to
remember
for
ages.
