When I first arrived I didn't think much of it. The highway is quite loud, detracting from the enjoyment of the otherwise lovely park. Then I saw these guys! There were tons of horseshoe crabs mating and swimming around in the rocky beach! They were so cool to watch.

Picnic tables and grills. Shade and open areas. Great views.

Great place to sit back and relax and watch the boats go by. The ice cream truck came by too! And with porti-potties on premise, you can spend the day there. The bike trail goes right from there and it's a good starting spot. We biked around Great Bay!

Let's just call this place kind of a wild card. It can be a sketchy spot, especially at night. All sorts of people pit stop here since it's close to the highway. You're pretty much guaranteed to run into shady individuals, particularly at night. During the day it's not too bad though. Lots of families have picnics around the playground area and sometimes exercise groups will utilize the park lawn as well. I once saw 100 people doing yoga in sync on the lawn as I pulled in. There are about 7 portapottys in the main parking area. Grills on site too. Police do routine checks here. Think that about covers it.

Historical place of Dover and a nice getaway park to see the beauty of the back waters. Fact: The first settlement at Dover was made here at the southernmost point of Dover Neck and was called Hilton's Point after Edward and William Hilton. They were fish- mongers from London who, in 1623, established their fishing industry at this scenic site.

Favorite place to relax and unwind after work. I love seeing the hermit crabs and horseshoe crabs, and I spend a majority of my time here looking for oysters. So clean and peaceful, if I see trash I pick it up and throw it away, though it is very rare

Nice walk by the water with a decently clean park. Definitely an area you'll want to lock your car, we were approached by some less than comforting individuals. Still worth your time, people are people let them be and you'll be cool.

We went during high tide, then came back later for low tide to find crabs! We had a lot of luck with the little ones, the water current was too strong to go out for the bigger ones. The view is absolutely gorgeous, and there's plenty of space for grass lounging activities!

The grounds were groomed. Plenty of space for our rv. Picnic table for our spot and a wonderful view of the water!
