Very nice place. Stopped in for little lunch before our drive back home. Went during a busy time but only had to wait 5 minutes. Waitress was very nice. The soup and salad we ordered was very good! I definitely recommend the house salad ( I added steak).

They are only open for breakfast and lunch, no dinner. Good place to go and get breakfast, or lunch. The place is nicely decorated and is always clean. The staff is friendly and helpful with selecting the perfect meal. The sad news is the turkey club sandwich is all bread and no meat, the turkey is literally sliced paper thin, simply not worth the money. I also like the fireplace in the middle of the dining room. Plenty of parking spaces to accommodate any size crowd.

Honey Jam Nastee’! Like forreal, this place is gross on some many levels. The food was nasty and bland…and there was some sort of flying bug infestation in the booths near the windows. We initially only saw one bug, then there were 2 and 3 and one was crawling on our table. We took it upon ourselves to get up and move to another table. Back to the food, I had the Supreme Omelet which had bacon, sausage, ham, mushrooms, onions, peppers and cheese. Welp, I didn’t taste any of those ingredients! I also ordered corned beef hash and the server HIGHLY suggested getting it cooked longer to cut back on the grease. Well…..it was certainly cooked long because it was burnt…and it was still super greasy. I couldn’t do anything but laugh at that point. I nicely requested that it was removed from our check. The server obliged but forgot to actually do it. I didn’t realize until later and called to speak to a manager. She was really nice and resolved the issue quickly, which I really appreciated.

Beautiful restaurant, we loved the atmosphere. The warm fireplace added to the decor and coziness. We enjoyed the breakfast sandwich and omelette. The endless coffee was the perfect addition and we had a very nice server.

I haven't been here in years but decided to visit again. Choosing my meal companions wisely offers me the opportunity to try more things! Their pancakes are amazing, perhaps the best I have had. The French toast is made with cinnamon bread which adds a nice flavor to it. Highly recommend this place. We will be back.

This is probably one of the best sit-down restaurants I've been to. The food is creative and outstandingly delicious. The warm inviting atmosphere takes you out of the busy suburbs and to a relaxing lodge in the mountains(providing to don't sit outside or next to a window). Also, some of the nicest and accommodating waitstaff I've been around in a while. Definitely a place to try out or making your family weekend staple for a great dining experience.

My husband and son took me here for a birthday brunch on 1/16/22. Donna took us to our table. She was great - SO funny! Conrad was our server. Very attentive and helpful. We have some dietary issues and he was able to help us work around them so we could still have a tasty and filling meal. I so appreciate this type of service - making us feel welcome, making us laugh and just making us feel welcomed! I really enjoyed myself. This was a great start to my day of birthday celebrations. I highly recommend this restaurant. Great food selections and service. You won't be disappointed ;-)

This place is such a refreshing break from loud and chaotic Sunday breakfast at other restaurants. This was our first time here and we tried the cinnamon swirl french toast (pictured) and chicken & waffles. I’d guess we waited about 5-6 minutes for our food and it was DELICIOUS! We do not play when it comes to our breakfast, and this place will definitely be in our Sunday breakfast rotation.

I had the Nutella Crepes and they were pretty good. From what my table got, I heard the Patty Melt, the Impossible Burger, and the Country Skillet are quite good as well. Although the food was good, the service was less than stellar. It took forever for us to get our food. It was pretty busy, but our server rarely came around to refill our water. Also, the Country Skillet comes with a side of toast/pancakes/English muffin, and we never got the side we ordered. I'm not sure if I could come back...

Absolutely love this place! I usually order carry out or delivery. The food is always so incredibly delicious and flavorful and you can tell fresh ingredients are always used. Whomever I speak with when placing the order is always extremely friendly and willing to accommodate any special requests. Highly recommend the white chocolate raspberry pancakes and the sope benedict, but everything I've tried here is great!

Unsatisfying. We went in for brunch trying to find a decent place to eat. We asked for a booth, on both sides the seats had nice tears going right down the length, the table was leaning down on one end. The food was less than par. Ordered a meat lovers skillet with eggs over easy. Looks like they cut up one sausage link, one slice of bacon and overcooked the eggs. We won’t be going back. Waitress was good though. Not her fault that place is in shambles.

This was a great place for breakfast. Parking lot was a little crazy but, The staff was friendly, decent prices. Food was good. Lots of food to choose from and some very unique food items to choose. I will definitely have to come back and be brave enough to try some. Definitely worth checking out.

I highly recommend eating here if you’re in the area. The prices were good and the food and service was even better. Btw I had the chicken n waffles 😋😋😋❤️❤️❤️

I have been to the Downers Grove locations 3 times in the last 6 months. On the last 2 visits the service was slow and the food, or portions of it, were cold when brought to the table. It seems as if the wait staff lets food sit around before bringing it out to the table. This will make it hard to justify a 4th visit.

Nice, cozy atmosphere. Services were smooth. The server was friendly and attentive. Coffee pot placed on table. (thumbs up 👍 for that alone!) Extensive menu. My sister is "gluten-free" and she was able to get pancakes. Happy family makes for a pleasant meal! We are going to go back to enjoy their cooking again.

Great place for breakfast with family. I love their foods. Very welcoming and servers looked professional. I love the inside settings too. Coffee was fresh and we all enjoyed the meals we ordered. Very satisfied. I really wanted their signature coffee mugs if they sell them

I've been here only a few times but I've had good experiences each time. The service is always friendly, greeted with a smile and although they are busy they take the time to acknowledge you and ask how everything is going. I like that it is a very cozy place or at least they try to create that environment. I think a big part of that is the fireplace in the middle. I didn't want others to feel uncomfortable while they ate just so I could get a picture although I really wanted to >< but just imagine it! Lol 😆 The food was really good too. The only complaint I'd have is that although I do like a good amount of whipped cream, I felt they went a bit too far with it this time. I know, I know. Who complains about whipped cream?!? 👀 ......buuuuut I had to eat it with a spoon because it was causing my latte to overflow and spill onto the table. Probably because I was talking and trying to get a picture too. But overall, it was delicious and always a good experience 😁

Incredible! This is the best breakfast restaurant that I've been to. And I'm not saying that lightly. My wife and I ended up going 2 days in a row. The menu has SO MANY unique foods and drinks that we wanted to try. We were VERY satisfied both days. I highly recommend this restaurant.

We came back! We had a short wait (it was around 12:30 on a Sunday). We tried the loaded fries, the Divorciados, which had homemade tortilla chips, and the meat lovers skillet with Hawaiian French toast instead of pancakes. It was all delicious and worth the wait.

  • 5/5 blackhawk81 1 year ago on Google
Absolutely incredible! May be the best breakfast I’ve ever had. I tried the Hawaiian french toast and a horchata latte… SO yummy! Staff was very friendly and quick. I can’t wait to come back! 🥞

Great service, food and homely feels. I’m not a breakfast person but when I’m in the area this is my go to. Surprise to see the logo change but it is indeed attention grabbing with the vibrant orange.

We had 28 people for breakfast, and the waitress, Anna, was the only one serving us. She was patient with us or us with her..Thank you, Anna. We'll be back.

Great service. We even overhead one of the staff training the newer ones to try to give people in wheelchairs and walking in with canes closer seating to the door when available. It was so thoughtful and helpful for someone I was traveling with.

I've been here twice and I really like the lattes and cappuccinos. My first time, I had a breakfast burrito and did not like it, I would rate it 1 out of 5. My second time, I had the chocolate chip pancakes which were really good and I would give them a 5 out of 5. The tater tots are also a 5 out of 5.

Really cool place inside and out, excellent service and food with a wide variety menu with all kinds of options. Chicken and waffles were fantastic and over easy were done perfect but but my wife's Cannolli French Toast was spectacular( had to try of course)

Outstanding Experience - A Hidden Gem! Today marked my first visit to this remarkable establishment, and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed! The highlight of my breakfast was undoubtedly the Eggs Benedict with poached salmon - an absolute delight for the taste buds! The flavors were perfectly balanced, leaving me craving for more. One thing that truly amazed me was the efficient service. From the moment I placed my order, it took less than 8 minutes for the food to arrive at my table, which exemplifies their commitment to customer satisfaction. The staff were attentive and went above and beyond to ensure a memorable dining experience, even on a busy Sunday morning at 10 am. Kudos to the exceptional service! I am already looking forward to my next visit, and this time, I'll be bringing my beloved family members along. The warm ambiance, delectable food, and impeccable service make this place a hidden gem that deserves to be cherished and shared. Highly recommended!

Family place with friendly service. It is popular so prepare to wait. The waiting area is nice with plenty of sitting. Our food came out fast. I love that a coffee pot was left at the table. I had oatmeal, salmon and poach eggs. My husband had the corn beef hash with crepes.. We definitely enjoyed it. I was not impressed with the oatmeal because it was plain and crepes were too thick.

The place is nice. Service was great but the food is overpriced and the main seasoning is tons of salt. Biscuits were stale and the gravy too salty. Mexican omelet was tasteless. If not for the waitress would give 0 stars.

Food was not not good. I did not enjoy it at all. I gave 1 star because the customer service was good. Butterfields is much better. I know they have merged but Honey Jam can't measure up to Butterfields.

This place deserves a visit because of their food, not so much the service. To be fair they seemed to have been short staffed. We enjoyed our breakfast and our strawberry mimosas. We will definitely be back.

Great place for breakfast, very good food. Good portions and the wait was not too bad. Laura the server was awesome and made sure we were satisfied with everything. The only thing I would change is the social distancing. They didn’t follow the 6 feet apart rule more like 4 feet.

This is the only 1 start review I've ever given. We were really looking forward to eating here. It was a big disappointment. The outdoor seating area is cold and our table was in a puddle. The wait staff took 20 minutes to greet us. The menu is good, but the prices are WAY too high! I got the same meal at Egg House the next day and paid roughly half the price, and Egg House had more food. Overall very disappointing. Long wait, over priced, small portions, over rated.

Our server Dana, was an absolute treat to have take care of us. Pictured below was my chicken and waffles. Take a chance on the Chipotle maple syrup it gives the syrup a savory flavor with a little kick! Their menu offers a variety of options for any appetite or diet. Swing by the Downer's Grove location for a cozy cabin-like atmosphere and a fulfilling breakfast, brunch, or lunch meal. I would recommend this location 5/5 stars good job!
