Everything here was so tasty! Total comfort food. I was surprised to find at least 5-6 vegetarian dishes on the menu. I had a seasonal grilled asparagus and roasted potato salad, which was huge and so flavorful. Attentive service, too.

I went on a packed Thursday night. A wave of the hand to indicate sit anywhere and I took my seat. That was the last interaction I had with a server for an extended length of time. I had to go to the server station to get my own menu and ashtray. Once the food arrived I had to search for silverware and napkins. I am not sure why, but I was roundly ignored. Very poor service. As said by Mr. Pink, the words “too busy” should not be in a server’s vocabulary. The food was fine. Spicy goulash without a hint of spice and deer which was dry. Certainly my least favorite part of visiting Dresden, for which I paid around 40 euros.

Very traditional Saxony restaurant steeped in the history of the local area. Food is quite good, atmosphere and service is great for large groups of diners. I had a traditional breaded pork cutlet with a kind of chicken stew topping baked with cheese. The French Fries are maybe not as traditional but tasty nonetheless.

The food was definitely delicious, especially the Grilled Pork Knuckle, it surely worth the price. Unfortunately, I was eating in the garden, and that dish contains honey, which eventually attracted bees. They were quite disturbing, so I asked the waitress if I could eat inside. She said yes, but didn’t help me to get my stuffs in, as she was eating lunch. Even inside, there were lots of flies and other kinds of insects, and I had to keep an eye on the food. If you ordered this dish, be careful of the bugs!

First rate food at a reasonable price. I decided that my first meal would be bratwurst with sauerkraut and mash and they didn't disappoint! Cold German beer to wash it down. Geschmackvoll!

Really great authentic and local atmosphere. The staff was probably the nicest ive had in germany (ive been here about a year). It wasnt the absolute best schnitzel ive ever had but still pretty good with large portions. Would recomend.

We couldn't have liked this place any more. Ate there two nights in a row, it was recommended by the folks at our hotel. Authentic German food. Great service. Fantastic staff. Amazing Olde Worlde Teutonic atmosphere and ambiance. (Be sure to get the cucumber salad!) This was one (actually two) of our best meals in Germany/Austria. This is a restaurant that made our trip to Germany just that much better. Dankeshoen!

Turned up without reservation but they found me a table and served up some super delicious food. Beer recommendation was also excellent. Will definitely go back whenever I'm in Dresden.

Food was rather good. However service needs much to be desired. Terminal was not working for international cards. Waiter doesn’t warn us beforehand about it so we had to look for ATM to get cash(( It spoiled all the impression.

Hearty traditional German and Saxon food, served with great beer in stone mugs. Not cheap but still reasonable by local standards and worth the money for the quality. (The excellent ribs would have been enough for a light lunch for two people.) It's off the beaten track but worth the walk (maybe 15 minutes out of the centre). Inside and outside seating with helpful, English-speaking staff.

We really like this place. My husband’s favorite restaurant for traditional German cuisine. We always bring guests to this restaurant. Best Käse Spätzle.

Zum Schiesshaus has a lovely backyard with a green field and a slide where kids can play. The food is nice. I was very excited to have Bratkartoffeln and they were good but I would have expected them to be more browned and to have some more condiments or herbs to enhance the flavour. My boyfriend enjoyed his turkey liver. For drinking we had water and it was so overpriced. The least you can pay is a relation of 9€/L.

We've been here 4 or 5 times because of the proximity to the place where we live. This is a quiet, cozy, authentic biergarden with a nice backyard and good bier. Unfortunately, the quality of food was always below average, compared to other fine places in Dresden and Germany. Price on par or with some premium. We always tried different items from the menu, always so-so. Maybe we were unlucky but I think folks have to do something with it.

Typical german style restaurant. There is a big choice of meals and german specialities. The offer of beers is also good. The proces are quite fair for the location.

Fantastic dinner and an even better experience. The quality of the pork and bacon wrapped sausage with flavor & texture that's hard to put into words. My son and I had a wonderful meal.

5 star service and meals cooked to perfection. Definitely the #1 of our Easter stay in Dresden! ☺️🐰

2 star for vegetarian dish. The dish description was something along the lines of "goulash made from vegetables" but it tasted and looked nothing like goulash. The potato rosti was a bit too salty which is easily amendable. However, I realized that most of the vegetables in my dish were from a frozen vegetable packet. So, basically my dish was frozen vegetables coated in a sauce. I don't call that a high quality meal.

Everything was DELICIOUS!! The fried circle potato’s (much like a hash brown) were super delicious! The Zander fish topped with Broccoli and cheese in a cheese sauce was AMAZING! I’d definitely recommend this meal!

😐 Drinks are good. Sweet potato fries are awesome. Burgers are below average. But since they are somewhat "hand made" people get all hyped with it. But honestly cannot understand how the bare minimum menu cost is 18€. Fast food for 18€.
