He believed that his first and fundamental mission in philosophy was to ground science and then to defend the rationality of morality and religion. In order to realize this aim, he developed his own epistemological idealism, known as transcendental epistemological idealism, by taking the elements he deems important from both Descartes' rationalism and Hume's empiricism. He made a distinction between phenomenal reality, that is, the world we experience through the senses, and noumenal reality, that is, the non-sensuous and unknowable world.

After 259 steps you are rewarded with an a mazing view of the Dresen. The view is extra magical during the Xmas season when you get an overview of the Christmas market. I would recommend visiting after sunset if you plan to see the xmas market. The steps are relatively easy but the higher you go the narrower the staircase gets so might not be for those who are claustrophobic.

The Panometer is an impressive exhibition set in a location which is a little bit far away from Dresden centre but easily accesible by tram and with an ample parking place. You might find there either the Baroque or the World War II exhibition. The exhibition is introduced with different paintings and pictures that provide information about the topic before you visit the Panometer itself. The audio guide provides good information (you can either pick it up there or.hear it in your mobile devices by downloading it from the website). The Panometer itself is quite impressive with a 360 view and a lot of detail. I had the chance of seeing the Baroque and the display of lights, which changed showing different seasons and day/night was quite impressive. All seen from 15 m above the ground. Definitely a good place to visit if you are in Dresden.

I really liked it. The historical introduction is well prepared with the audioguide. The view itself is great (best from top level) mind you it's not wheel chair friendly as there are steps only to the top. The price is on the expensive side for what you get. In a perfect world they would utilize the second gasometer to give you both views at the same time- at the moment they rotate between Baroque Dresden and WWII Dresden

Wow! If you are in Dresden this should be the first to visit. The effect is amazing: photo and music both are fantastic. The only problem: they have special show of bombing of Dresden but it is impossible to find out when. I couldnt find it on the net. Why dont they make it public for people who want to see this???

I have never experienced anything like this before. The panorama is absolutely amazing. With each layer you climb you notice more and more detail. Don't forget to rent binoculars from the ticket desk.

When you but the tickets online, you should see that the activity is for Saxony age. That it's good. But in the webpage, you see the 1945 attack to the city, and is confusing. Because that expo will be in 2023. If you want to see this, you'ld wait.

I'd say it was much smaller than I expected, but still quite an experience and very much worth visiting. There's some interesting architecture around.

An unusual exhibition in a unique location - for those interested in how Dresden's architecture and spirit have been shaped throughout history, "Baroque" is definitely worth a visit. However, to enjoy the exhibition, you must be prepared to read the text on the walls/stands (or take an audio guide, as mentioned in other reviews?), otherwise it will be difficult to get much out of it.

(Translated by Google) We came here on Saturday because of the heat. "Dresden in 1945" is currently shown. Accessibility is absolutely great, with the S-Bahn to Dresden-Reick, a 10-15 minute walk and you're there. In terms of price, I find it absolutely reasonable and it's pleasantly cool. Due to Corona, disinfectants were available and a distance of 2 meters was required, which can be easily done in the large exhibition. In addition to the panorama picture, you can read an overview of the historical background on several signs. In addition, several individual fates were described, so that one gets a pretty good impression of how terrible the situation was at that time. Overall, however, the panorama image would have been enough to impressively convey, especially to the young generation, that something like this should never happen again. I strongly recommend going up the observation tower. At the top you can then take the bomber pilot's point of view. Absolutely scary. Overall, the exhibition gets my absolute recommendation. A small note: the writing on the signs should definitely be a bit larger, it is hardly recognizable for the visually impaired and there is no trace of Braille for the blind. An additional spot on the signs would also be very helpful, because if the scene is shown at night and the whole hall is darkened, you can no longer see any writing at all. Epileptics should be careful - some flashes are used (to illustrate the bomb explosions more clearly.)

If you want to experience what Dresden looked like close to reality, then the Panometer is what I highly recommend. Other than historical articles on display, the 3 dimensional panoramic view of historic Dresden in the past with its sights and sounds would definitely be a treat. We were wowed by the awesome detail that the photographer and artists took to create this grand display. I highly recommend this a MUST visit 👍👍👍👌👌👌🙂🙂🙂

I think this is a one-of-a-kind experience that can not be found anywhere else. I liked how detailed the art was and I was really transferred back in time for a little while. The panorama that I saw was Dresden at the time of Augustus the Strong. It helped that this is off the beaten track so it's not visited as much by tourists.

The publicity for this site is confusing. Two displays are mentioned - 1945 and the Baroque period - but there is no indication of what you get. In 2022 you only get the Baroque display. You will need to wait until 2023 to get the 1945 display. This is not clear on the website or the Facebook page. It doesn't help when they refuse to answer the phone.

We went to see the Dresden im Barock Panorama and it was one of the best panoramas I've seen so far; there was a descriptive exhibition before you stepped into the panorama, so you understood more about the setting and society during that point in time. As the other panoramas by Assisi, it has been creates with intricate details and care. We spent a whole lot of time there to take everything in. Definitely worth a visit when in Dresden, even though it is a little drive from the city center.

I cannot comprehend how people find this "amazing" when its LIETERALLY just ONE 360 IMAGE. Thats all. Edit for the given Answer: You can always improve it by making it a video loop, adding more 360 pictures, adding 3D glasses, etc. Most likely i was not the target audience, but you can always improve and grab more customers by expanding your proposal.

  • 4/5 Marcio M. 4 months ago on Google
The 360 degree view of the city is very interesting with tons of details that if you aren’t paying attention you might miss. Even during the transitions between day and night you get to see some details that were otherwise hidden. At the end there was a small exhibition that shows what was left of the city after the bombing at the end of WW2. It’s amazing to see how most of it was destroyed and then rebuilt in the following decades.

It's small, short and ok. There is a huge piece of wall artwork that is simply breathtaking. For the long trip as a Dresdener not really worth it but just to experience on the way is ok.

  • 5/5 Codee p. 4 months ago on Google
The “art” leading to the panorama was lame and fake, but the real treat is through the doors. It took about 5 minutes for my mind to be tricked into thinking it was really 3d. The transition from day to night with the little events was wonderful.

(Translated by Google) We went into the panometer with friends by chance, because it was raining and were very impressed with what we saw. We, one might say, found ourselves on the observation deck of different eras. The panorama of what appeared before us is simply amazing. Everything is so real that as if you are in the thick of things, you hear the cries of people, explosions, birdsong. The music further emphasizes the drama of what is happening around. Looking at all this, one wonders how much grief, tears and suffering the war brings. And how much effort it took to restore the city of Dresden from the ashes. Unfortunately, people have not learned from past examples. And wars continue on earth. But I learned from the Bible that God will soon create a truly peaceful and safe environment on earth. It says: "They will forge their swords into plowshares and spears into garden knives. The people will not raise a sword against the people, and will no longer learn to fight. Each of them will sit under his vine and under his figs, and no one will be theirs. frighten "(Micah 4: 3,4) In the meantime, your museum serves as a reminder of how wars affect our lives. And how important it is to create, not destroy.

Impressive experience about the devastating and cruel bombing of Dresden in February 1945. The exhibition takes you back in time and let you feel how it was to be there at that time by emotional stories of victims and a huge panorama picture accompanied by a good soundsystem. In the end you can see interviews of citizens looking back at that surrealistic time in their life which is very inspiring to hear.
