Very helpful at the front desk. Also, love the breakfast and Executive Lounge. Nice room, though the view is just the roof. However, this is a large hotel, so I’m sure other rooms have nice views. Overall, I’ve been happy with my stay!

Everything was OK. Exceptional service at reception. Breakfast was hearty. Cleanliness OK. The windows really isolated noise from outdoors. I would improve the (clean) smell on towels. The room looked a bit old fashioned. Service 5 Room 3 Location 5

Couple of positives to start with. Firstly, the location is amazing, really cannot get a better place in Dresden. The other positive is the reception staff were very helpful, creates a good first impression along with the welcome drink. However, this go downwards from here. The hotel needs a renovation. It is not that it is not clean but it just feels tired and not modern at all. This leads into an old AC system that keeps you awake for n a very very small room for a family. The towels disappeared after one night, the breakfast whilst offers choice was feeling like a budget breakfast. The items provided for washing are not sustainable at all, not seem these plastic bottles for a long time. And totally in consistent face mask rules from one day to the next. Honestly, there are places in a near distance that I would recommend. The Hilton in Dresden is trading on a brand and not deserving the name.

First of all. We were meant to check in at 3, we had to wait 1 hour till they actually gave us a room. Second of all the workers at the reception werent very helpful due to their thick accents. There also was a party on new years, which we didnt join. We couldnt even go in our room, we had to wait 30 minutes. It was all a bit messy and unorganized but i guess it was okay. Dont get the 5 starts tho.

Update: I complained officially via the Hilton Honors Team who told me they forwarded it to the hotel. Never heard back. Very poor management Sebastian Goldmann and Team. ---- Perfect location. However, disappointing hospitality by management. Diamond members are excluded from (their free) breakfast in the restaurant. Never ever have I experienced this at any other Hilton property. Instead of being welcomed, you feel treated badly. They do allow you for an extra charge. Upon asking management I did not get a satisfying explanation as to why. I was actually told I should be happy not to have breakfast at the restaurant as it can be a real mess in the morning. A totally out of order response and a real shame in my option to treat the most loyal guests like this.

Husband & I are on our honeymoon travelling through Europe. We had breakfast here on our way through to Berlin. Absolutely the best breakfast we have found in the last 30 days. We got the American & it was platter & was all cooked perfectly. Highly, highly recommend!

The location is very nice. It is at the center you can walk everywhere at this location and see almost everything at walking distance. Check in/out and getting your keys takes forever you could be waiting for like an hour just getting your room key like what. And the Italian female manager is very rude watch out if she's on duty she won't help nor accommodate on what you need she would just shrug you off. Nice location ruined by staff.

Ever so central with everywhere in the historic town reachable by foot. Even the train station can be walked to but a nearby tram does the trip.on just stops or about 5 minutes. Spent 3 nights here and I cant remember the last time that I slept so well.

Very nice American size room in downtown. Clean room and I had a nice view of the church. I arrived before check in and was able to drop off my bag and explore the Sunday market. Great location.

Friendly and helpful staff, there are no useless bellboys that are normally in every hotel just for tips, but I have to say I'm nevertheless disappointed:) The hotel is pretty old, both building-wise and amenities-wise. I can tell it used to be something extremely fancy in the 90s maybe. But the way the rooms are furnished is really old for today's standards. Now the more important part, the amenities. Nowadays, you normally get free bottled water, tea, coffee, ... Etc on the house as courtesy, but in that hotel we were surprised to see that one big bottle of water costs about 6 euros unless you're a member of some club, which felt extremely cheap and confusing (giving also the wording and the fonts they used). The elevators don't operate unless you insert your room card. Nothing that bad really, you can always get a water bottle for less than 2 euros from the next Rewe, or swipe the card, but it just felt very cheap and outdated for no reason and we had really high expectations from that hotel :-).

Haven't stayed but ate at the Frauenkirche Bistro. Food was out of this world, absolutely exquisite. Great views of the church as well, efficient service, all great. Can't wait to return some day.

After seven years, again in the same hotel, whose great location compensates for the shortcomings in the neglected investments. The rooms are the same as twenty years ago, when I first stayed here. Of course, there are certain type changes, an empty minibar, trays in the bathroom and a very limited breakfast in the business lounge on the first floor (you can have breakfast on the ground floor for an additional fee). But overall the hotel works and for one night it is still the best choice in Dresden. .

Location is perfect. Rooms are little bit outdated, but not too bad. Hotel itself is a highly recommended place to stay because it's very central. Everything what you want to see is in a walking distance. They have a lot to offer in the hotel, like sauna, pool etc. There are few restaurants which are part of the hotel and that gives you a better chance of choosing something what suits you the best. Staff is friendly, but could be improved. Parking is too expensive, but price of 28 euros was expected before arrival.

We had a fantastic stay at the Hilton Dresden. The staff was pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable. The Executive Lounge had meals, drinks and snacks throughout the day. The pool, spa and whirlpool was nice and the gym was large. The hotel is centrally located and close to the palace. It’s walking distance to the free outdoor musical concerts.

This hotel is next to the Frauenkirche and centrally located in walking distance to the major sites and to public transportation. The wellness center and spa area was nice and restaurants available on site were great as well.

My boyfriend and I took vacation in Dresden and we chose the Hilton hotel. It’s a good hotel located right at the city center near the sight Frauenkirche. You can reach all sights by foot. Staff is very friendly, breakfast very delicious and if you want to go the gym you can find all machines! Spa area is also nice though we didn’t go there. Definitely a good choice for a leisure or business trip.

Very quiet and comfortable. The breakfast was amazing but you pay heavily for it, €26.50 I believe. No electric car charging that we could find. Perfect location very close to everything! Would stay here many times again

Very friendly staff and excellent location in Dresden with the Frauenkirche in direct neighbour good of the hotel. The rooms and the interior of the hotel are in need of a refresh however which is visible. Breakfast was great 👍🏻

Stayed here four times in the last month, last three times great. Fourth time not good at all. Upgraded us great, dropped bags in room, went to see old town, the mall, late dinner and drinks, came back looked around nothing was clean, blood stains in bed, mildew bathroom and tissues in trash cans, went down for breakfast you can't eat if your not diamond we are. Checking out they said can't do your card for a hour will you hang our till then umm no. We live south of Frankfurt six hour drive.

Really good hotel, with Pool, Spa, Gym, Shopping, several restaurants, etc. Rooms are clean, spacious and very comfortable. The staff is friendly and helpful. Couldn't ask for a better location.

It is a very nice hotel which is located perfectly in downtown Dresden. A Lot of Restaurants in a walkable Distance and Lot of sightseeing as well. Service is very friendly. Breakfast is ok, could have been better with more options. Beds are comfortable. They have a underground parking which is 28€ for 24hr which is very expensive.

This hotel is right in the old town city center which is amazing. Easy walk and access to pretty much anything you would like. The rooms are comfortable even though they may be a bit dated. The service can not be beat. The only thing is that even though Hilton is known to be exceptionally clean, there have been some places in our room where cobwebs fly on the ceiling and dust is sitting on the inside and outside of lampshades. I know that this is not the norm for a Hilton. So, we will stay here again.

Locations couldn't be better! The rest could be Much more better. Concierge didn't know the price for the breakfast and for the SPA, breakfast was very poor, bacon was burn, scramble was dry, etc. And like a cherry on top we were woken up in the morning by the service room member who enter our room without a knocking at 09:00 😂 Try to find better place for your trip, it's not hilton and not 4 stars definitely.

Perfect location for old town tours or the Christmas Markets, but the rooms are dated and in need of an update. The breakfast was great but the atmosphere was loud and cafeteria style. No complaints about the executive lounge. The provided snacks were great!

We were given 2 single beds, so that was disappointing, but at least the beds were pretty comfortable. The bathroom had a tub, which I liked instead of only a shower. The carpet is a bit worn and stained, but it was fine. We liked that we could put our waters in the little fridge, as some rooms are stocked with other drinks one is charged for & then there's no room for your own things, so that was nice. Our favorite thing though, was the gym! It was awesome!!

Elegant hotel in the heart of old town Dresden. Room was very comfortable and was up to Hilton standards. A parking garage is available below the hotel. Breakfast was included with our stay. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. Our room was in a perfect quiet location until the 2nd night when a live music festival kept us awake until midnight.

Check-in line was 20+ deep with only two staff checking guests in. Waited nearly 50 minutes to check in. Check out was a bit better but still a line. Water is not provided in rooms - if you ask for it, they charge your room. The staff were not very helpful or friendly. The location is great, but I think they realize they don’t need to serve you once you’re there because of that. So disappointing.

Very nice hotel. Well located. Friendly staff. Breakfast buffet very good. Cocktails in adjacent hotel Corner Bar tasty. Rooms were nice, however bathrooms a bit outdated/small.

A bit hit and miss, the experience here. The positives were that the room was comfortable and the breakfast and lounge experiences were great - both the service and the quality of food and beverages. On the downside, housekeeping knocking on the door early in the morning is annoying - I don’t pay to be woken up early for no reason, especially on the day of checkout - get a better system. Finally, no issues to pay the daily parking fee of €25 (although it’s often waived or discounted for Diamond members) but it’s annoying that because the receptionist validated the ticket first and then proceeded to do the checkout and ask a lot of questions, we had to pay AGAIN after arriving at the car park carrier since the 10 minutes or whatever had expired through no fault of ours. Again, get a better system.

The family room was excellent for our family. We had a fantastic room with an upstairs for parents and downstairs for the kids. The gym, pool, and associated services were some of the best I've seen. Staff is courteous. The location is in the middle of many sightseeing opportunities and can't be beat.

I love this hotel and stay here everything I come to Dresden. It is perfectly located in the old town with all the old sites just steps away. The train station is close, and it is easy to rent a car close by if you want to drive around d the villages. If you can get a room with windows overlooking the Frauenkirch; spectacular to see it at night. Although the bells ring, the hotel is well insulated and they are not loud at night.
