Nach längerer Pause hatten wir mal wieder Lust auf griechisches Essen und die Wahl fiel diesmal auf das Pegasus. Die Lage ist ok und Parkplätze sind ausreichend vorhanden. Das Restaurant selbst macht einen sauberen Eindruck und man bekommt das, was man von einem "richtigen Griechen" erwartet. Verwinkelte Sitzbereiche, angenehme Musik, das volle Programm eben. Was mir nicht so gut gefiel, war das Aquarium im Eingangsbereich, das geht alles etwas hochwertiger und stilvoller. Aber sei es drum, ich bin ja nicht zum Aquaristiktreffen dort, sondern zum Essen. Wir bestellten also unsere Getränke und das Warten begann. Es verging einiges an Zeit und irgendwann kamen dann die langersehnten Durstlöscher. Also fix Essen bestellt, denn wir hatten wirklich Hunger. Eine Stunde und zehn Minuten nach Eintreffen im Restaurant erhielten wir dann unser Essen. Das empfanden wir als viel zu lang, da das Restaurant nur schwach besucht war. Das Essen selbst gliederte sich in einen Vorspeisemsalat, welcher ausgesprochen lecker war. Nichts übertrieben raffiniertes, aber eben ein sehr leckerer Salat. Die Hauptspeise war für mich leider komplett durchgefallen. Ich bestellte irgendeinen Teller mit Gyros, welches sehr trocken und extrem wenig war, Fleischspieße, die ebenfalls trocken waren und ein paar Pommes. Letztere wurden mit 2,50 Euro Aufpreis berechnet obwohl die freundliche Bedienung mir zuvor sagte es würde 2,00 Euro kosten und die Speisekarte klar sagt, der Wechsel auf Pommes als Beilage wäre kostenfrei. Kein großes Problem, aber trotzdem ärgerlich. Mein Essen kostet also summa summarum 22,40 Euro ohne Getränk und ich muss sagen, dass mir weder die Menge noch die gebotene Qualität ausreichte um diesen Preis zu rechtfertigen. Was macht man als guter Gast also? Man weist die Bedienung freundlich und konstruktiv darauf hin, das man nicht so recht zufrieden war und erklärt die kleinen Problemchen, die man so hatte mit dem Essen. Die Bedienung meinte daraufhin, dass das schon sein kann weil der Grill defekt sei und man auf der neuen Grillplatte den Dreh noch nicht so ganz raus hätte. Ok, das kann natürlich sein, trotzdem gebe ich das Essen dann nicht raus. Außerdem hätte ich mich über irgendeine kleine Entschuldigung gefreut, und sei es eine Kugel Eis oder was auch immer gewesen. Leider kam diesbezüglich ausser der Rechtfertigung nichts. Abschließend ein Wort zum Gyros. Für mich als "Nicht-Griechen" ist Gyros DAS griechische Essen schlechthin. Gyros muss passen, daran messe ich das Restaurant. Hier hat das Pegasus leider völlig versagt. Man stellt sich das sicher alles zu leicht vor, aber aus meiner Sicht dreht sich da in irgendeiner Ecke ein großer saftiger Spieß und wenn ein Kunde kommt, schneide ich ihm halt ein paar Stücken ab. Zur Not halte ich das bereist abgeschnittene Fleisch warm, damit es nicht zu trocken wird. Pommes in die Fritteuse, einen Klecks leckeres Tzatziki aus dem Eimer daneben. Mehr will der deutsche Gast doch gar nicht. Leider war das alles irgendwie nicht gelungen. 1:10 h warten, dann das Essen nicht in Ordnung, der verhältnismäßig hohe Preis.... Naja, sei es drum. Wer also mal so richtig viel Zeit hat und vielleicht auf guten Vorspeisensalat steht, der ist hier genau richtig. Alle anderen gehen besser zu einem der anderen 35 Griechen in Dresden. The food itself was divided into a starter salad, which was extremely delicious. Nothing overly sophisticated, but a very tasty salad. Unfortunately, the main course was a complete failure for me. I ordered any plate of gyros which was very dry and extremely little, skewers of meat which were also dry and some fries. The latter was charged with a surcharge of 2.50 euros, although the friendly waitress told me beforehand that it would cost 2.00 euros and the menu clearly says that switching to fries as a side dish would be free of charge. Not a big problem, but annoying nonetheless. All in all, my food costs 22.40 euros without a drink and I have to say that neither the quantity nor the quality offered was enough to justify this price. So what does a good guest do? Unfortunately nothing came in this regard apart from the justification. Finally, a word about gyros. For me as a "non-Greek" gyros is THE Greek food par excellence. Gyros have to fit, that's how I measure the restaurant. Unfortunately, the Pegasus failed completely here. It's all too easy to imagine, but from my point of view there's a big, juicy skewer turning in some corner and when a customer comes, I just cut off a few pieces for him. In a pinch, I keep the cut meat warm so it doesn't get too dry. Fries in the fryer, a dollop of delicious tzatziki from the bucket next to it. The German guest doesn't want more. Unfortunately, somehow that didn't work out. 1:10 h wait, then the food is not okay, the relatively high price... Well, that's it. So if you have a lot of time and maybe like a good starter salad, you've come to the right place. Everyone else is better off going to one of the other 35 Greeks in Dresden.

Friendly staff and fair prices. The food is good and the wine too. Really brings back feelings of life in Southern Italy. Can only recommend this place

Wir waren zu mit neun Personen vor Ort. Der Service war vielleicht nicht der schnellste. Das ist aber wirklich keine Kritik. Sie war allein und es war viel Betrieb. Aber die Bedienung war trotzdem sehr freundlich. Das Essen war durchgehend lecker. Vor allem der Tzatziki kam super bei uns an. Suchtfaktor. Besonders lecker war auch der Salat vor dem essen. So muss ein griechischer Salat sein. Der allein wäre für uns Grund genug noch mal vorbei zu kommen. Leider kleiner Mangel das die Kinder beim Kindergericht diesen Salat nicht bekommen. Da müssten wir teilen.... Alles in allem war es sein schöner Abend

Ich liebe dieses Restaurant 💖 Das Essen ist hervorragend der Service bei jedem Besuch perfekt und das Ambiente gibt das richtige Feeling. Für sein Geld bekommt mehr als genug auf den Teller. Auf Wunsch kann man auch was man nicht geschafft hat einpacken lassen. Wenn ich in ein Restaurant gehe dann in dieses!!! Ihr seid Klasse. 👍
