Bhuna tasted and had consistency of vegetable soup. It was literally vegetable soup and lamb, think baby food with some meat. Naan bread looked like it had been cooked under a grill, was dried out, crumbly and shiny, not very nice at all (see photos of soup and bread cake). Prawns and lamb in the dishes were very good. Rice was also good. Overall, was disgusting.

Very unimpressed. Can’t believe some people rave about this Indian. Both dishes looked and tasted like thick veg soup, one slightly spicier than the other. Chicken was fine. Lamb was chewy and dry. Such a let down.

This place deserves ZERO stars id be better off buying a pack of veg soup and a lamb chop spicy seasoning nd mixing all together. Punjab house is a rip off.the food is far from Indian food avoid if all possible.if they cared at all about there business they would have an interest in there reviews

First time order the food after eating food this will be my last time. So pathetic taste. I would suggest "Guru" take away food is far better then this.

The best Indian food in town! I just got mine delivered to the house. Lady on the phone was super nice, delivery was fast and the portions are huge. I've tried Tika Masala in many different places, but the Punjabi House is always the winner. Very creamy and fresh. Thank you, will recommend to everyone ❤

If Hyacinth Bucket were to visit an Indian restaurant in the 90s it would look like this. Drab and dated interior. I ordered a chicken tikka with rice and it was nice. However they didn’t have any beer, or non alcoholic alternative beer or even sparkling water. I was also charged for a sauce that was supposed to be part of the dish. They removed it from the bill. Wouldn’t be in a rush back

Indian food with no flavour. Thats a new one. Really poor. Ordered lamb korma. Lamb tough, sauce had no flavour and tasted like badly made soup.

Ordered a Biryani dish so many times and found it to hot to eat, having been a regular customer here for 15 years i find them very uninterested , needless to say after 15 years of loyaty i will not moving my custom elswhere

I didn’t think you could fail at butter chicken, but somehow they did. Mediocre chicken in what seemed like pea soup instead of a nice buttery sauce. Enjoyed the rest of my order ok, but confused and disappointed by the butter chicken

It’s very hard to make Indian food tasteless but the Punjabi managed to do so! We ordered Korma, Tarka Daal, lamb curry, chilli garlic chicken and lamb Kahari. Each dish was only distinguished by its colour and meat content. You need a new chef I think! I won’t be going back though! 😢

We went for dinner tonight. Poppadom and dips were ok, onion Bhaji was in a weird consistency and too spicy for me. The flavour was good, but I couldn’t eat it as it was too spicy. After this we waited more than 30 minutes to get our mains.. My boyfriend got the pasanda with chicken. This was ok, always a bit too spicy but ok. I got the saag paneer and it was really disappointing. The flavour was ok but was really spicy, and the paneer did look like Philadelphia cheese. I asked the waiter more about this “paneer” and he told me that is soft paneer… I’m not Indian but I’m familiar with Indian cuisine and I never got in a restaurant this kind of soft paneer. I was definitely expecting the classic chewy cottage cheese… I think they also should ask if you would like the food spicy or not… Unfortunately I will never come back.

Absolutely loved the food and service I received at this restaurant. Went with my family and we were all very pleased with the experience.

Great food fantastic staff. Highly recommended for eating in or ordering delivery. I don't know her name but the boss lady is absolutely wonderful.
