Had a memorable experience from the beginning to end. The place was beautiful and the food was amazing! I wasn’t expecting it to be this good but really a must try restaurant! Perfect place to social and date. An ample space for parking in front of the restaurant but shared with other shops within the block. Neat dress essential. Will definitely be back 💯

Super cool spot, decor is great and very disability friendly with no steps. Food was delicious too and all staff very friendly.

Ate here for the first time last night, went down for “Marvellous Mondays”..amazing food at a great price! Staff were very attentive and helpful. Vegetable dumplings chicken wings and Clonakilty black pudding for starters, pork belly and sea bass for mains and it was absolutely delicious especially veg dumplings and pork belly. Definitely going to make this a regular night out. Thank you folks!

Social has just reopened and boy have they done it with a bang! The place has been transformed, beautiful decor, much softer, fantastic food, highly recommend the pork belly wraps, and most of all an amazing atmosphere. Staff were extremely attentive without being overbearing. They have hit the nail on the head in Social. If tonight is anything to go by book in advance, this place is gonna be busy! Can’t wait to come back!

Great service and excellent food. As a vegetarian I got great meal. We were part of a family party of five and everyone was more than happy with their meal

Having eaten there before, brought friends and relations in, and recommended it to everybody, we were hugely disappointed on our most recent visit. Have always enjoyed the fish and chips option whenever we've had it and was looking forward to having it again but when it arrived to the table we both gasped in astonishment! The fish portion was half the size it usually is ! I immediately complained to the girl looking after us and she came back to us with explanation from the chef that the portion was weight related ! Absolute rubbish! What's happened is that now the normal portion is split in half but the price is still €19.99! How they think this is reasonable and acceptable is beyond me. Not saying we won't visit again as we really like the new decor and the atmosphere but we won't be ordering the fish and chips again. Very disappointed that someone has made this decision, hope it doesn't come back to bite them !

I am always impressed by Social and have returned on many occasions. The restaurant itself is absolutely beautiful with tasteful decor which would fit perfectly in any major city. The menu has plenty of options or just the right amount of options. The food is truly og great quality and presented wonderfully. With regards to the service this for me second to none. It has a local restaurant vibe when it comes to services, the waiting staff always take time to say hello or have little chat with you which can be rare these days. They even get to know you and on your return welcome you back. It's the little things! The 'Social' Experience is excellent for groups or just two but on a couple of occasions I've popped in for a solo meal. 10/10

Had dinner here for my partners birthday in June. Staff were lovely and the decor was fab. Very nice place for a catch up with the girls. The food was delicious and great value. We got the early bird menu. Neither of us left disappointed or hungry. We will definitely be back

Always have a fantastic time. I have two food allergies and always have lots of choice on the menu with the staff being very reassuring and checking items with the chef if needs be. . The staff are very warm and friendly and can’t do enough for you. The new decor is very cozy. This is by far our favorite restaurant in town. We go there for all our special occasions.

Absolutely delicious food. We had red prawns linguini, sticky ribs and crispy pork belly and they all were beautifully presented and so tasty. Definitely recommend.

We had a fantastic experience at Social Bar and Restaurant. The food, drinks and service were excellent. The decor is lovely. Great value for money too! We will definitely be back.

Lovely atmosphere, beautiful food (the salmon skewers were amazing), and fantastic staff. We had two children with us, the staff were great with them. We were a party of nine, and our food all arrived at the same time. An off-menu request was very kindly accommodated. Perfect cocktails also.

Exceptional food,atmosphere and above all front of house staff. Booked and arrived here on wrong night,,solely my fault but even on extremely busy friday night we were welcomed without issue. Food is above exceptional quality and presentation is on point. The decor and choice of table seating really make this place unique. Can't praise it enough.

Portions very small and painfully expensive . I requested to have the peanut slaw replaced with something else because I was allergic to nuts but I was refused. They said they could leave it out but I would have to pay an extra €5 if I want something else instead. All I got was a small cube of pork with jus and a garnish of a stem of broccoli. No potato. If I hadn't got a starter I would have been starving. The starter was very expensive but nice except they put some kind of spice seasoning in the flour they coated them with which did not suit the squid. Very unaccommodating and mean with the food, small portions for the prices charged. Not surprised they weren't overly busy. Dessert was very small and of course too expensive. I shared my dessert with my daughter and requested 2 spoons when ordering. They only gave 5 profiteroles rather than 6. Definitely won't be going back there.

Very nice mid-week dinner. We were a group of six colleagues from Ireland, US, France, and Brazil. We all found entrees that were excellent to our tastes a but still local to Drogheda. We finished with a delicious dessert and coffee/tea. Very Good cocktails, starters, entrees, and desserts represented by attentive servers.

We recently tried the Marvelous Mondays with 50% off on starters and dinner. Tried the crispy prawn curry starter. This would have tasted nice but it was served cold so it was no longer crispy. The mains of steak and crispy sea bass were lovely though. Although the serving of sides is a bit small. Desert was also nice. Good attentive staff and what I like about the place is that even though there were a lot of people on the floor, the high ceilings did not make the place too noisy. Will go back again and hopefully, food is warmer as they would be more delicious.

We visited on Halloween night (our first visit since the current owners took over), and I really can't stress how brilliant of a night we had. The atmosphere was brilliant (the decor and lighting was really nice), the staff were incredibly friendly, but most importantly, the food was really great too. A little expensive, but the quality of food made up for that. The steak was brilliantly cooked, and the deserts were really perfect too. Massively looking forward to getting back some time soon.
