Rodys , The best bar in Rathmines . I worked there and it was great to pop in for my wife’s favourite wings. The hardware in the bar is still top class and the smoking area has recently been redecorated. The pints were amazing and the service exceptional. Special mention to Laura and Katie as always they flowed effortlessly around the floor serving food and drinks in record time. It was great to see you both.

I went one evening close to time of kitchen closing. I ordered cod and chips with peas and tartare sauce. The cod was super gorgeous. Large white flakes properly cooked, peas were garden peas. Tartare sauce was mostly onion in mayo, a poor relation, and chips were just shells. Re deep fried after perhaps another order. I said about the chips, and the manager took 8.50 off the bill. (I had asked for 3 things that they didn’t have. )That was decent enough. On another visit I ordered the prawns pil pil. They came soaked in oil 😖! toast on the side. Eton mess for dessert, nice.

Food was really good which is nice cause you never know with pubs, it’s always hit or miss but that was definitely a hit! Staff was great, super friendly and helpful. Will go back again :)

Great atmosphere, decorations, comfy seats and amazing food. I totally recommend, I like how their menu also has different dishes (prawns, mussels, chicken parm etc) aside pub classics like burgers, sandwiches and fish & chips.

Very spacious and thr feeling of a real Irish pub. The food was also very good and the staff was friendly. Waiters and waitresses are kind. The chicken wings are delicious!

Loved this place! Great, relaxed atmosphere. The waitstaff were inviting, helpful, & friendly. They gave really good menu suggestions & options. I had an Orchard Thieves blood-orange Cider. Loved it! The steak wrap w/chips (fries) was delicious! It was so delicious that I went back another day and got it to go. I also had the vegetable soup w/ garlic bread which was also delicious. Overall, my dine-in & takeaway experiences were both great! The next time I'm in Ireland, I would definitely go back there & highly recommend giving them a try!

Had a beautiful lamb dinner couldn't fault the food. My friend had the chicken burger which she loved just to be aware for those who don't like spices the sauce on the burger was spicy. The staff were so polite. Thank you to all for an enjoyable nite. Music was fantastic 👌

One of the few places in dublin that have both Beamish and Murphy’s on tap. Great pub in D6.

The 3 star's are for the chef's. The service was diabolical. We had to ask for table service to clear and serve us at every stage of the meal and she also served us the incorrect dish/main course. I was really looking forward to this meal, my partner had recommended it but the food was amazing, like amazing, the muscles are fantastic!!!! 😁

Great place to watch sport, football or rugby. Nice atmosphere. No complaints about crowd management on a busy day. I noticed that all female floor staff wore the same type of glasses (as if it was part of their uniform). Not sure if it was intentional, but there was something attractive about it. Quick service despite a large number of people.

Now this local pub is a gem in disguise. Just an ordinary outside but once you walk in, there is a huge palace of great food and awesome selection of drinks available. Definitely a place to check out any time of the day or night. Couldn’t be happier to have this as a local!

We love Rody Bolands. It was our first local when we moved to Ireland 9 years ago and will likely remain always in our hearts as a special place. The atmosphere is always lively & cheerful without ever getting chaotic and overwhelming. Its population is generally young without becoming a trendy too trendy where people of a different age would look or feel out place. In many nights we ended up making unexpected friends and that makes the place even more special. It helps a lot that the beer is consistently good and the food great. In particular we find that their Lasagne & Chicken Wings are worth the mini-trip we have to do now to get there. We count on going back to Rody's again & again for years to come.

We had a lunch here and it was absolutely fantastic! The place itself is just huge, seems like a very popular one. Couldn't choose from the menu as everything looked amazing! Luckily the chosen Guinness pie was a good one! Highly recommended! Huge choice of beer and cocktails as well.
