We opted for the pre theatre menu. Food was delicious and really tasty. Stuffed meat Cannelloni was unreal I would definitely recommend. Staff are extremely helpful and friendly.. We will be returning for sure.

What a wonderful Italian restaurant. We had the penne pasta and lasagna; the food was terrific! The espresso martini was good also, and of course, as in all places in Dublin, the pint of Guinness was excellent.

A great place to find yourself in Italy without a flight. Amazing food and friendly staff. We liked all the dishes we ordered. I recommend this restaurant as one of the best in Dublin.

It is a good restaurant 😋 ambience is amazing. Only thing when we reached they only had Lasagna left so we had not many options to choose the dinner and thus giving 4 stars. But i will recommend their vegetarian Lasagna it is really really delicious and amazing 👏.

The food here was absolutely delicious and the restaurant itself was cosy but not cramped! The staff were really friendly and very prompt, we weren’t left waiting for our food or feeling forgotten about. I thought it was really good value for money as the dishes were large and you don’t leave feeling hungry. I loved the atmosphere of the restaurant, I felt like I had been transported to Italy and it was fabulous!

Booked for an office night out. Everyone impressed with the huge amount of choice on the menu and all were extremely happy with their food, not one complaint from our party of 8. Lovely atmosphere and the staff were extremely friendly and attentive. Will definitely visit again, highly recommend.

We are very surprised how did this place received some good ratings but our experience for an evening meal was very poor. The starters were like foods bought from supermarket & warmed by microwave, poorly produced and poorly presented. The pasta with a veg sauce clearly overcooked or just old leftover, quite disgusting. The washroom was terribly messy, no one seems to have bothered with cleaning. With men’s next to women’s in full view! This is probably the worst Italian place we have ever visited, such a contrast with a french res we visited the night before, avoid at all cost!

We were excited to try Toscana from the website description. I had the insalata mista, the carne lasagna and the panna cotta and she had the bruschetta, the tagliatelle and the profiteroles. We both had a glass of red wine and each finished with a glass of the Montenegro. We gave it a very solid try. Where to begin since it was by far the worst dining experience in our 10 day Ireland trip. The wine tasted old, and warm. The salad had no rocket/arugula even though that headlined the description. The service was subpar. I could go on, but why. Nothing was very good except, maybe, the food presentation. We were looking to branch out and we went too far... A few locals asked where we ate dinner the following morning as we were heading to the airport and all agreed with us, not a good place.

A lovely restaurant with food made with love and dedication. They have a good deal. For lunch you can order a starter and a main course for only 19 euro 50. Believe me when I tell you that you get more food than you can eat. The staff is marvellous and entertaining. A place to remember if you love Italian food. I recomment this place!

The Toscanaita Italian restaurant was a grate place too have dinner. It was a cozy atmosphere with good food and friendly staff as well as good service. It also had live music the night we ate here in our Ireland trip. We ate in a quieter area of the restaurant and the band was very nice to play an extra song at the end so we could hear at least one song as we had just finished our meals. We all enjoyed the experience here and the restaurant is in a nice location being in the city center of Dublin.

The waiter and staff was very polite and friendly. It didn't feel posh nor was I under pressure to decide on my order. The atmosphere was great. The seats were comfortable and the tables weren't too small to need more space for each dish. We didn't wait long for any dish everything came together. Everything was cooked very well, prices were also quite reasonable and the portions were a good size too. Would go again!

The starters were very tasty, the chicken main was really nice. But not my favourite pizza, was a bit bland for my palette. Overall, lovely service everyone was so friendly/nice, and we had a good laugh!

Had great food. The tomato in Bruschetta was the freshest. The owner grows his own vegetables or gets it from someone locally. Coming from NY/NJ area. This is one of the best place in Ireland. Great service as well.

It took a while for someone to come to the door to welcome us but then the waiter's service was excellent, the food was good, I was expecting a little more for the price.

Great pasta, quick serving..but a bit misogynistic approach.. bill is proposed to man and if lady is paying it is questioned...what... Europe 21 century.. and how to do in case non traditional couple? Shame

I liked the food. No beer that's worth it but that's what Italian restaurants do best. I only had the pizza because I have to try anything that's Quattro formaggi. The gorgonzola over powered the whole pizza but I still at the whole thing. I didnt see gnocchi or many other dishes I wanted.

Over charged, charged for the evening menu even though it was 12.30pm and we requested lunch. Three times we challenged them and waitress said her friend said that the bill is the same. LIKE SERIOUSLY, HER FRIEND 🙄 LUNCH MENU @€17.50 FOR TWO COURSE WE WERE CHARGED €27.50 EVEN THOUGH ONLY ONE OF US HAD TWO COURSE. ONE HAD A SINGLE COURSE AND THE OTHER WAS A CHILD EATING FROM THE CHILDS MENU Main course staggered even though two of us were having the same. The food is mediocre and there are much better places in Dublin City that offer better value for money. Avoid this place

Absolutely lovely place. The food was fresh and very tasty, the ambience (although busy on Fridays) was really nice and lively, the excellent service from the staff (especially Luciana) made us come back to this place. Highly recommended, but best to reserve in advance!

Excellent, chef cooked a beautiful sea food risotto for my wife, not on the menu and it was perfect. Ravioli with black truffle followed by a tiramisu for me was also perfect! Highly recommend. Service prompt and professional and flexible with a special order so thanks

The most fabulous restaurant, it really did feel like you were in Italy in an Italian restaurant. The people were so friendly, some were Italian, the music was all Italian and I loved it. Very busy and see definitely worth going back!!! 105% recommend! They do not disappoint!

I asked for a quiet corner table when booking but we were plonked in the middle of the restaurant which was really noisy, by the door (which was cold) and the table was so small it barely fit our plates. Food was okay...my main was very nice but husband's main and both starters were just alright. Service was just about okay. We were seated by a very abrupt man and waiters were pretty efficient but not very friendly. The bill was fine but seemed expensive for the quality of dining. Their branch in dun laoghaire was much better. Don't think we'll be back to this one.
