I chose to celebrate my birthday with friends here yesterday, and had the most amazing dining experience. The food was delicious, the Passion Fruit cocktail was incredible and the service was out of this world!! Maria and Suzy made us feel super welcome, really nice people and they went above and beyond with a birthday surprise. Thank you girls, manager, chefs and everyone in the team for a wonderful night out!

I was craving for a risotto and came to Elephant and Castle Rathmines, but was the brunch menu and the risotto wasn’t available, but as the waitress saw that I was pregnant she promptly ask the chef if it was possible to do risotto for me, and she did (and also said that I could chose whatever I want for my risotto). Chef Camila your risotto was just amazing and as always the service at the restaurant was great. Thank you guys!!

Lovely brunch to have, specially on Sunday. Marcus and Thais received me well and were available during the whole meal for extra orders and drinks. Camila prepared the best brunch I’ve ever ate. My favourite:Eggs any style.

Perfect for Sunday Brunch! We were with friends and the place was always half full, so it was quiet enough to hear each other. We had omelettes and Irish breakfast and were very happy with our choices. The stuff never bothered us and we ended up staying there for 3 hours. Thanks for the great service!

Great wings and great portions. The sauce isn't too spicy but has lots of flavour. The dirty fries were okay and the limeade was quite good.

Excellent food and exceptional service. Our waiter Saadat was very friendly and helpful and made our experience very enjoyable. For starters, we had baby back ribs with glaze and, except for the random super small pieces of bone that we encountered, it was very good, the glaze made it very interesting. For mains we had chicken burger with aioli and salmon with beans and mash. My husband says he's never had such a good chicken burger. For me it had a bit to much cheese (you can add cheese and bacon at extra cost). The salmon was overall very good. It felt a bit too fat, but it is to be expected and it went perfectly with the legumes and mash. Beans were not mushy but rather on the fresher side. The sauce that went with it all complemented each part of the dish and created an overall cohesive dish. For desert, we had pecan pie. It was most definitely microwaved, because it came piping hot. But it did not take away from the experience as the pie was very nice. All in all, the service was exceptional and we had a great time there!

The staff there are amazing, very friendly and always smiling. We had a wonderful white wine and the food is delicious, now I know why the wings is very famous there. The best I have had. Special thanks to Francisco and Claiton for warm welcome.

My husband and I were in search of somewhere nice to grab a bite to eat before spending some time at some local pics and we stumbled upon this restaurant on a fairly busy night. They were able to get us in fairly quickly and we didn’t wait too long at all for our meals. The food was fantastic, the drinks were refreshing, and our server Saadat was very attentive and personable. Highly recommend giving this place a try!

Myself, my wife, and my parents stopped in for dinner. The food was good, the portion sizes generous, and we didn't have to wait long for anything. The service was excellent. In particular, our waiter Saadat took very good care of us; very attentive and great fun. Keep up the good work, looking forward to eating here again!

The restaurant looks and feels very neat. The waiters are friendly and welcoming. But the food was a real "sour" experience. The fish and actually everything on the plate was super-lemony. Same goes for the drinks.

I was recently for lunch at the restaurant, and I very discreetly mentioned that it was my birthday, and I had one of the best experiences ever. The food was impeccable, the bluecheese burger was delicious. but the icing on the cake was the congratulations with a candle on the ice cream and a waffle cookie on the top, it was the only candle I had, this moment became even more special. Especially because we live far from family, a simple gesture from a staff member in a restaurant completely changes our way of looking at things. Thank you to all the staff, for singing happy birthday, thank you to the Management, the restaurant was impeccable, and most importantly, Maria Eduarda, for so much sensitivity and affection, for the ice cream and the candle.

Great Vibe, the music is on point. The wings are worth the hype and the dirty chicken nachos are something else 😋. Ask for Ciaiton, to be your server, he is a genuine jolly good fella.

Always a lovely experience here. The wings are the best and the cheesy fries with sauce are delicious. Special mention to Saadat for his excellent and courteous service. He is very attentive and welcoming. A very satisfied and returning customer.

Went for lunch and ordered a sandwich with aubergine. Very nice. I didn’t like the shape of the cup for the cappuccino, tall and narrow. No. The chef came out and interviewed a guy, leaving about 6 food orders waiting about 12 minutes. It’s ok I wasn’t in a hurry. Another day, lunch again I ordered a burger and traded the chips for mash. Very kind of them to let me do that. The burger was cooked to kingdom come. Made me think it was possibly left from previous night. It was soo dry. That’s the reason I deducted a star. All the staff are extremely nice.

Buffalo wings are tasty, the chips were nice and crispy. Really enjoyed my banana copacabana desert. Chips took a bit of time to come after the meals came. Other than that it was good. My friends really enjoyed their chicken wings. The mango lemonade jug shared between us was bitter and tasty.

Food was ordered at 19:00, food was due at 19:45. Food hadn't arrived by 20:00 so rang the restaurant and the person explained it was "out with the driver". Waited another 15 minutes and rang again (this is now 75 minutes since the food was ordered), bearing in mind the restaurant is 0.35KM from its drop location. Eventually I happened to be looking at the window and spotted who I thought was the driver going into the house next door. We eventually got the food where the driver remarked "I am tired" and handed the food over. The food was leaking on the inside, the wings were stone cold and dry. Not even putting extra sauce on them saved this. Elephant and Castle was the gold standard for wings and you pay a premium to enjoy them. In this case €20.94, I will never order from this restaurant again. Flippant attitude from both the restaurant and the driver. The driver was obviously driving around in circles looking for the address when my full address and phone number is on the order. Terrible service.

I can safely say the Elephant & Castle in Rathmines has surpassed all my expectations. I was wary about straying from the original Temple Bar restaurant after eating there for 20yrs because of its consistency. After this evenings dinner I can say that the new Rathmines restaurant is excellent. I would nearly go as far to say it better than the original! Amazing food and pin point service. Delicious and seamless, 6 stars 🌟

Eat there last night (09/10/2021) with my friends. It was so nice to be back in a buzzing restaurant again. We had to queue for a little while but the host was great. She really looked after us and once we got in we had a great time. Those chicken wings are amazing

Hats off to the staff in Rathmines. We had an autistic child with us and asked if they might turn the music down a little, they turned it off!!! We had a gorgeous stress free meal. Huge big thank you

First time visit and absolutely loved it. Staff were excellent and food was gorgeous,especially the chicken wings. Very reasonably priced also. Hand sanitizers were everywhere also.
