Wow, what a surprise. This is an exceptional little restaurant hidden away in Donnybrook right on the bus route. The menu is deceptive and looks limited. However the professionalism and attention to detail of every morsel is Michelin star quality. There was a delicious tasting dish before the starter and a sorbet before the main. The meal was full of surprises and new experiences and every mouthful was a delight. The service was faultless too.

I was there last night with my family for a birthday treat. I would give it 2 stars only because the room is lovely and staff friendly. However at €95 per person for a tasting menu, the food was really dreadful , shop bought bread, flavourless food, and a cheese selection of over chilled cheese. Just not up to the standard one would expect from a restaurant of this calibre……… there are many fabulous places to dine in Dublin, this is not one of them. A massive bill and left feeling hungry and ripped off…….avoid.

We enjoyed the six course tasting menu and matching wines. From the moment we were seated through to leaving we enjoyed attentive service from the front of house team. Everyone was natural, engaging and struck the right balance of formality - which made our experience so enjoyable. Every course was perfectly balanced, seasoned well and extremely tasty. The paired wines augmented each course and the chats about the wines and food with the manager (gutted we never asked his name) were so engaging. It was his last night tonight and undoubtedly he’ll be missed and leaves big shoes to fill front of house. That said the food is so good we’ll be back. We’ve enjoyed a number of Dublin’s finest restaurants - this is our favourite meal this summer.

An absolutely cracking restaurant in Dublin that is somewhat hidden away but those who know it are passionate fans. Menu constantly changing and the ingredients they use are top class.

Got a takeaway 3 course dinner for two from Mulberry Garden last night which was fantastic. At 65 euros it’s more than our typical Friday night takeaway but it was worth it. We will definitely be ordering again!

The food is incredible, the attention to details, the cocktails are fabulous - big fan of the Whiskey Sour! And I love the Rioja if you like red. Food is always fantastic and changes every week.

Great experience! We had the vegetarian tasting menu and everything was delicious! Service was impeccable, however we would have preferred to have only one waiter (although we learned that it is customary in Ireland to have a table waiter and a food waiter).

I attended the venue as part of Christmas work outing. I had Celeriac veloute with quail's egg for starters. The veloute was creamy and delicious which surprised me as I'm not a big fan of Celeriac. Now I am ! For mains I had the Venison which came in two forms , shoulder and steak I think. Both tasted different but super tasty. Accompanying the dish was parsnips and red cabbage.. devine. I could easily have ate another of the mains as it was so good! For desert I had the cheese board, super way to finish the meal. Can't recommend Mulberry high enough, it was my first Michelin star restaurant and I was truly pleased by the meal. The staff were great and the house wine we had was also excellent. I will definitely be returning 😀

Without question or challenge, the best resteraunt in Dublin. At least one choice for any taste in each course(fish, meat, vegetarian). The food is excellent and matched by the staff who are friendly and professional. Their passion for food and pride in where the work make this the happiest room in Dublin.

The Mulberry Gardens was a wonderful experience. Everything was perfect from the service to the ambiance. We had the three course evening meal and loved every bite. As you can see from the photos the food looked amazing, it tasted even better! Highly recommend.

Nice fine dining in Dublin, would give it a 4.5 if it was available. Attentive staff, great local ingredients. Could do better on the wine list, we weren't blown away by dessert and cheese

Fabulous meal for a special occasion. Stunning food and the tasting menu was out of this world. Service is perfect! Darrel (hope I spelt that correctly) is the sommelier and manager and couldn't have been more pleasant or welcoming to us. Really lovely touches regarding service. Overall 10/10, lovely ambience too. Highly recommend!

Our experience was very similar to another person’s review below, around the same time. The restaurant interior is tastefully decorated and cosy, the staff friendly and attentive, albeit some staff came across as very inexperienced and uncomfortable. Now to the menu. €95 for a six course menu on paper isn’t excessive, but if you take into account the miserly portion sizes and lack of any creativity or real imagination behind each dish, the price isn’t justified. Overall a disappointing dining experience. With the setting and character and how the menu reads, this place has potential, however fails on so many counts. Do not recommend.

Visited Mulberry Garden last night and had some super food! We were on the 8:45 sitting and every table was full and buzzing. It’s one of Dublin’s best kept dining secrets. I enjoyed the chicken starter served with incredibly meaty mushrooms, leeks and black garlic. My cod and squid fish main course was displayed on a vivid green parsley sauce and accompanied by smoked eel wrapped in cabbage which all worked beautifully together. And finally I devoured every crumb of the most delicious poached rhubarb dessert served with a delicious little doughnut ( pictures of my dishes and the menu are attached).

To start with, an enjoyable cocktail in their garden area, sitting in rattan chairs, with a stove roaring nearby. Next a 3 course dinner where menu changes every 2 weeks and every ingredient is traced. Tasty meal, in an enjoyable decor.

Our facilitator was Ryan (I couldn't call him a waiter as he was so much more than that). A true professional. He was extremely passionate about food and drink, and was an absolutely pleasure to chat with. I'm not exaggerating when I say it was the best service I've ever had in a restaurant. On entry having a drink outside was a lovely touch, again the server noticed a near empty glass from inside and had it topped up before the next sip. The food was divine. Good portions in that we didn't go home bloated or hungry. Lots of subtle but noticeable little details. Wine was great and really enjoyed the desert wine that was recommended. Not something i normally would have gone for, but again thanks to our server the meal was better because of it. I'll be back, again and again... Can't believe i didnt know about this place before.

The food is great but the lack of PPE for waiting staff and very little evidence of other antiiCovid measures is disgraceful for a restaurant of this stature.

Amazing experience! Their food is absolutely spectacular and top quality with interesting and surprising twist of flavours in every course. I loved the pre desert ice cream with rosemary- true masterpiece. The atmosphere and the service where the waiter kindly explains in detail the composition on the plate makes it really special experience.

Well, when I tell you I had a wonderful evening in the mulberry gardens. The food was phenomenal as to be expected for a place like this. The true gem of the night was my waitress. Tara was beyond charming helpful and attentive. She recommended a beautiful wine that paired wonderfully with the food. The staff here make the meal an experience rather than a routine activity. Will definitely be returning.

Mulberry garden was an amazing fine dining experience. In the reservation process, the restaurant handled last minute unexpected changes and accommodated 2 additional guests. Amazing service there as well. Onto the food, it's a fantastic experience. The appetizers were amazing. I had scallop as appetizer and Halibut as main. Ended with amazing Strawberry dessert. Overall great experience.

Highly recommend the place if you are looking for an intimate atmosphere with fresh and local food. The menu is modern, composed of a maximum of Irish products, and renewed regularly. They cater for all type of allergies as well, which is highly appreciated! Service is absolutely perfect with great care from the staff. We'll come back!

Great atmosphere and service. Especially love the saxophone old man. For the Irish food, i liked the staters but not the main course. However, in general the food was good.

We absolutely love Mulberry garden. We keep going back for more year after year. The food and the service hand in hand are out standing. We had their at home box experience as well and can't recommend it enough! Can't wait to go back! Top of my list for when we can eat out again. Longing for a delicious cocktail in he walled garden !

Attention - this is an experience, not a simple dinner. The garden is the perfect place to have your apéro - always go for the in-house cocktails and you won’t be disappointed! The staff is extremely nice and well trained, and the food is simply exceptional. What I love the most is the fact that they list on the back of their menu the producers they work with and the places they get their products from - even the salt was listed! The tasting menu was delicious and the ingredients fresh. We spent a perfect evening here, thanks to the amazing staff :)

We got a tasting menu, the food and the service were at level for a Michelin restaurant. We had a great night. I really suggest you to arrive early at the place and enjoy a drink in the garden before dinner. Lovely.

It was wonderful to get out for an evening meal after the various restrictions. It was even more wonderful to enjoy it at the Mulberry Garden. The food was truly excellent, we both had duck and it can only be described as awesome. The service from the staff and their friendliness was outstanding. The experience was even better than my last visit. One small point- annoying buzz in speakers in garden. Otherwise nothing to fault. Exceptional
