After our meal at Uno Mas, we wanted to try this which has a shared ownership. Reservations are highly recommended as it only seats about 30 diners inside. It’s a small intimate space. We sat at the bar as it’s more casual and you can interact with the staff. We prefer to eat lunch as our main meal of the day, as we eat less and we don’t go to sleep on a full stomach. We had a carafe of the Etna Blanca to pair. Food was delicious. Our only complaint is that it is meat centric as dining options were limited for my wife who doesn’t eat red meat. She ended up having a salmon salad, a tomato salad and roasted cabbage (without lardo). I had the ham hock and the lamb. We shared a dessert and I finished with a cappuccino. Service was attentive and we were not rushed and had a thoroughly good time.

Absolutely phenomenal food, wine, service, and atmosphere. The beef tartare and sweet corn gnocchi were to die for. The best meal I had in Dublin by far and away - a must-go for food and wine lovers. Bonus: it’s a teeny hole-in-the-wall, and not at all touristy. Absolutely perfect.

For me, slightly underwhelming as against the hype. The menu is mostly smart modern European food and there’s an extensive wine list at a variety of price points (including wine by the glass). The weekday tasting menu is good value and well paced. Staff are warm and attentive. But there’s a bit missing here - the room feels a bit dark and close, and some of the dishes feel as though they need an extra element or more careful cooking to be properly exciting. Really good, but not great.

Beautiful and delicious food, delightful staff. If you eat in one place in Dublin eat here, a true delight.

Seriously the best food I had on my entire trip! Everything looked so amazing that we ended up ordering all of the started, and we were so glad we did. Everything that we had was phenomenal: the suppli, muscles, salmon and beef tartare. The biggest winner for me was the in season tomato salad though. It sounds so basic, but they really elevated it and even had a creative and delicate tomato juice foam that really tied the whole dish together. If there's an opening, book a reservation! You won't regret it. Also, they have waves of seating, and we got there a little early. The waitress was so nice and allowed us to order earlier because we were on a tight schedule. Staff was so kind and really went out of their way to make sure we enjoyed the food.

The food was delicious and our waiter was awesome. We didn't have a reservation, so they sat us outside on their beautiful patio Our waiter was attentive and funny. The food was as delicious as it was visually appealing

Etto is a gem. The best lunch and one of the best meals I’ve ever had. I’m going to tell everyone about this place and will be talking about it for years to come. Seriously, give this place a try and you won’t be disappointed. Thanks to the staff for being so warm and for other restaurant recommendations.

Really small venue with amazing service and food. The staff are extremely accommodating, full of banter and very knowledgeable about the menu. They leave enough time between courses so you can digest and not feel rushed. Real cosey vibe. Would recommend the blue fin tar tar for a starter, halibut for main and prunes for dessert. Dishes are well portioned so you don’t leave too full. Quite popular so I’d recommend booking in advance. Great time would definitely go back - one of my all time favourites!

My partner met the chef at this *amazing* restaurant some time before my birthday and found out about this gem through conversation so we made a booking for my birthday dinner. Well, normally when I go to restaurants I can't eat much other than the salad, which I'm normally satisfied with considering my long list of allergies and intolerance. There are about 7 including milk, soy and gluten. However, Etto's menu was unique and clearly catered to the needs of people with allergies because I was able to eat most of what was in the menu. The menu was dated for the day and considering the chef's style of gathering food, it made sense that it is always fresh, well sourced food. The food itself was hands down the best food I have had in years. The staff were so lovely, bubbly and welcoming and the chef himself was very considerate and accommodating and gave me a wonderful experience on my birthday. If you're looking for an incredible dining experience, then Etto is a must. We will definitely be back very soon!

Very Small in size but packs in great service and memorable full of flavor food. Highly recommend booking ahead. Save room for dessert. The red wine prunes are a must have!

An interesting European menu based upon fresh, local, Irish products. Solid wine menu. Mussels with Nduja and Corn were terrific and so was my Baked Cod. Even a simple salad was remarkable based upon the freshness and taste of the locally-sourced greens. The dessert highlight was the Red Wine Prunes with Vanilla Mascarpone! Need to order that! Special shout-outs to our very helpful waitstaff Miranda and Luca. Well done.

Beautiful food, delicious wine and lovely people. Etto is open on a Monday and lunch is great if you can't get a dinner reservation. I've been here many times and also had my wedding lunch here last year. Each time it's been a consistently wonderful experience. They have a Michelin Bib Gourmand and don't charge an arm and a leg - I'd happily pay more for food this good. Whatever the occasion don't miss out on the opportunity to eat here!

We started with some nibbles and langoustine as the starters. Especially the langoustine and the pancakes they come with were very tasty. I had the grilled cod, the sauce might not be everyone’s favorite as it had a sharp refreshing taste but I liked it. My friend had the crispy courgette flower, and it was delicious, definitely recommend. The staff were friendly and smiling. I am not a big fan of the interior atmosphere though as it’s a bit packed inside and the tables are close to each other.

Divine anniversary meal on Saturday 19/8. The experience was excellent from end to end. The gnocchi was memorable! As was the baked cabbage. Delicious.

We had a beautiful three course meal here. The food was divine. My crab salad starter was so fresh and full of flavour. My husband had melt in the mouth gnocchi, I had the hake and we also loved the cabbage. Our puddings were both delicious - steamed prunes and a rum baba. The wine list was also excellent. And the staff were lovely. Great experience. Would definitely come back.

Only a few tables here but really thoughtfully crafted and delicious food. I was a bit less wowed by the two wines I had. Some interesting choices by the glass, but not as impressed compared to the food

Delicious food and lovely atmosphere. Good wine selection. The dishes are composed carefully and intricately from local and seasonal ingredients. I particularly enjoyed the mustard broccoli side and the famed dessert, red wine prunes with mascarpone. The atmosphere was very nice and they accommodated me at the last minute without booking, though just to mention I was dining alone. The prices are completely acceptable considering the quality. It's not the cheapest, but it's very fair, average pricing for that kind of a slightly upscale restaurant. The staff is lovely and attentive. Definitely recommended!

I had a great meal here. Cozy simple surroundings. Adhering to COVID regulations. Each course offered terrific flavors and presentation. The star item for me was the Sika Deer tartare which was incredible. But there was plenty here for the less adventurous and for those who have a plant based diet. The staff were super friendly and attentive without being too much. A great spot. Highly recommended

Etto served one of the best meals I have ever had. Every course was wonderful. We tried both the hake and pork/olive croquette, both were packed full of flavour. This was followed by the muscle starter, which had the most divine sauce. We shared the Cote de boeuf for the mains. The meat was cooked and seasoned to perfection. It was served with a mouthwatering sauce and lovely crispy garlic potatoes. For dessert, we shared the prunes with masscapone and the rum baba. The rum cake was delicious, topped with a lovely sweet cream and accompanied my a delicious mango sorbet. The prunes were like nothing I have ever tasted, deliciously sweet and perfectly balanced by the creamy slightly tart cheese. The decor was nice and simple, everything is a little squished but cosy. The bathrooms are right by the pass downstairs which was a bit unusual. The servers were very friendly and helpful. We felt a bit rushed out the door in the end but it didn't change the wonderful experience. One of the best restaurants in Dublin, would highly recommend!

Love this. Simple atmosphere but amazing food and great service. Absolutely loved the mussels as an appetizer and the cote d’ boeuf was perfect. Great wine list and fun atmosphere!

Great food, lovely staff good wine. Venue a little noisy as a big table behind us, but overall very enjoyable.

Really enjoyable experience. Shared Cotê du boeuf, which was delicious, amazing broccoli and potato & onion hash. Never had broccoli so nice. Waiting staff were perfect, attentive but not intrusive. Looking forward to our next visit.

Outstanding food, presentation and service from starter through dessert. We particularly liked that this Italian restaurant differs from most Italian restaurants -- we had not tried any of the dishes before, despite spending about a year in Italy. It is a bit on the pricey side, but seems reasonable given almost perfection

Beautiful food, there was nothing that we could fault from start to finish. The cote de boeuf was divine! Staff were friendly and attentive. I waited a while to get a Saturday evening table but it was worth it!

What an amazing little restaurant. I was lucky enough to get a cancellation as the place if fully booked. The food was incredible from start to finish. I'll definitely be back!
