Breakfast was great ... Staff were pleasant and on the ball for waiter g etc .. Lad in the gym and pool area was very professional too .. Pool was small but nice and empty.. sauna steam room was pleasant also .. All in all. in the nice part of city centre . Lots of bars and really good restaurants within 10 meters from hotel and not like the tourist trap of temple bar . NOTE; If driving and need parking be wary that if you book the hotel third party and not direct .. The hotel will charge you parking fee of 20 euro which I thought was unfair as we spent a bit of money on lunch and Drinks .

Yes this is a nice hotel with nice amenities and a good breakfast if you want to spend the money (it's a very reasonable price). This review is about the staff though. The airport didn't give us our luggage right away and said they'd deliver it to the hotel by the next morning. Great. We informed the staff when we arrived and they made a note, telling us they would call the room and bring it up when it arrived. By noon the next day, no call. We asked at the desk and they told us they were aware of the situation and nothing had come in. We contacted the airline and they were vague and unhelpful. By 21:00 we hadn't heard anything and asked the frint desk again. The woman at the desk repeated that it wasn't in and they would contact us, though she said it slowly like I couldn't understand her. Fine. Next morning, no luck. We asked the front desk and the message was repeated that it wasn't there. We went to the airport to talk to someone and they said it had been delivered already. We went back to the hotel and asked them to check. What would you know, it had been delivered the morning before and no one had bothered to check. No apologies were given or anything. This was very stressful for us as we are from another country and all of our stuff was in that luggage (without it we'd have to buy enough to support ourselves for 2 week). Very disappointed in how this was handled.

Stayed here a couple nights and one night the alarm just started going off. When we called the front desk they had no explanation of what was going on. It was disconcerting. However the room is spacious for Dublin and we were conveniently located for going around as tourists for a few days. I do wish that the gym had more convenient hours though.

This was our 4th stay in the last 7 weeks. Unfortunately it was also the worst. I would normally have no complaints about the rooms, however, this time we were put in room 327. The room was spacious, as with all others we have stayed in. But it was extremely basic. It was dull/dark. The kettle and coffee maker were located in an old wardrobe, with no light source near it. It was difficult to get the water reservoir in and out of the coffee maker and to operate it as I needed to use the torch on my phone to find the on button on the side. The bathroom was dated and very basic. I appreciate that this room is designated for people with disabilities. But the shower curtain smelled of damp. The shower head is too close to the wall, i had to hug the wall to get to the water. Apart from the room, the staff were all lovely. I didn't get charged for parking when I made my complaint upon check out. The breakfast was very tasty and there was a great variety.

Stayed overnight for a family get together. Right from booking to checkout was such a pleasant experience. The lobby was so festive with beautiful plush and plentiful seating. We enjoyed drinks and snacks before going out later and the service was efficient and warm. We enjoyed our pre dinner drinks so much we came back to the lobby after and had such a pleasant evening. Rooms are in process of being refurbished and the refurbished rooms are beautiful. I stayed in one of their suites and it was gorgeous, beautiful blue hues and great space with a lovely balcony (too cold to use this visit). Breakfast was really good with lots of choice and nobody rushing you. Pool area is lovely with sauna and steam room. When one of our party had to cancel due to illness at short notice they were very understanding and it was no problem to cancel. would return and would recommend.

This hotel is nice and In a very central location. We stayed here for three nights total split between the start and end of our trip. My biggest complaint is that there are no fridges or hair dryers in the rooms. They also places us in a room overlooking the pub next door for our second stay and it was a bit noisy. Otherwise no complaints. The staff was very friendly and the service was good.

This is our go to place in Dublin, my wife and i have been coming to the Camden Court since we were both teenagers now we are still coming as often as possible with our teenage children. Great location round the corner from St. Stephen's green. Great staff, food and drinks delicious, the pool, Jacuzzi etc. are heaven and never overly busy. The rooms are also top class, we have stayed in most types from double to the large family rooms and they are fantastic. Can't wait to get back.

Stayed here 2 weeks ago with my friend and sister Ashley. Check in was quick and easy. The hotel is perfectly located. Our room was spacious and cosy. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We only ate in the hotel for breakfast and it was lovely and fresh. Wouldn't fault anything, will be back soon I hope.

Very nice hotel. The room was lovely and the bed was massive, it was like two single beds pushed together but super comfortable. Staff were friendly. Did not get a chance to use the leisure centre but visited it to take a look and it looked lovely. The location is amazing for so many lovely restaurants on Camden street. We didn’t eat in the hotel as we preferred the choices down the road. Will be back again.

I stayed here with my 5 year old son because it was near an appointment and had on-site parking and an EV charger. The hotels location wasn’t its only asset the staff were definitely its best. The bedroom was spacious, comfortable and most importantly very clean, had a decent hairdryer as well as the usual facilities, even a coffee machine! The pool area was lovely, clean and warm. I was with my son so I didn’t get to use the jacuzzi which looked very inviting or the other amenities. Must not forget the food! The menu choices are great, I didn’t eat on the restaurant but had lunch in the beautiful and well laid out lobby lounge area and highly recommend the goats cheese salad, it was well priced, delicious and very filling. The snack I ordered to our room later was more like a dinner it was so plentiful. The car park attendant and reception staff were so helpful getting me a spot at the EV charger the morning before I left as it had been busy since my arrival. And I was allowed to leave my car safely parked and charging after checkout while I attended my sons appointment. I can’t rate this hotel and staff high enough, everyone was so helpful, polite and kind especially to my young son, he wasn’t charged for breakfast and even got to have a conversation through Irish with a lovely waitress, it’s always nice to hear our native tongue outside the Irish speaking communities. I will be back with the rest of the family on tow!

My recent stay at this hotel exceeded all expectations. The manager's thoughtful gesture of complimentary drinks upon our tired arrival set the tone for a fantastic experience. Special kudos to Muhammad, the friendly barman who engaged exceptionally well with my children. Opting for a martini, I was delighted with the drink choices. The spacious room, equipped with 2 small doubles and a sofa bed, offered everything we needed – from a coffee machine to a large TV. The children's pool and welcoming spa staff added to the positive experience. While some lobby staff appeared a bit grumpy, the overall friendliness of the team and the great location make this hotel a top choice. A brilliant way to start the year off!

Check in staff were friendly and helpful. We were given room on floor 4. The corridor from elevator to room was very scruffy and obviously hadn't been vacuumed in many days. The room was adequate however there was some staining on chair and carpet but overall the room was fine for one night. At 6pm we went for a swim and the guy behind the desk thought it was more important to finish his personal call than to check us in. After the swim we went to dinner which again was OK. Nothing special slightly overdone but still not bad. There was an issue with wine which the waitress cleared up very professionally. Actually she was excellent and very attentive. There was a lot of staff going around with face masks under their noses and when we questioned a member she said it was because it was hard to breath with in over her nose. It's also hard to breath with covid if she passes it on to someone because she wears her mask incorrectly. Breakfast this morning was not a pleasant experience. Firstly one of the cooks was hassling another because he wasn't serving fast enough, he was doing fine and was taking his time because he was giving good customer service. The other guy took over and slopped the food onto plate without taking on board what was been asked for. It took 4 attempts to get the required pudding I asked for. Also the entire time he was serving he decided to use his face mask as a chin hammock(see photo). The coffee was so weak you could see the bottom of the cup and every table around us was stacked with dirty plates which only started to get cleaned up at the end of our breakfast. It was like having breakfast in a factory canteen. It gave us food but we couldn't relax and enjoy it.

It was my 2nd time staying here and its a brilliant hotel. Very clean and newly refurbished. Rooms are lovely and have robes and slippers and mini fridge. Excellent breakfast. Great location. Leisure centre and pool is lovely. Gym has lots of options. Staff are fine. Only minor thing, was the coffee machine in the room was not working. Besides that all good. The voya products in the bathroom and leisure center are the kind of touches that make it extra. I'll be using this hotel again for sure

I couldn’t rate this hotel better if I tried! My partner and I stayed here for NYE and from checking in and checking out, it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience. The staff were all attentive and helpful, the rooms were cleaned to a high standard and just before midnight, we were given a glass of bubbles. This hotel and location is perfect and for a 4 star, felt more like 5. Had the best few nights stay and will definitely be returning! Thank you , Emma x

Great location parking is a huge plus staff at reception are very friendly, room was clean. The only negative i could say was when going for the breakfast buffet was it would be very helpful if the person showing you to your table pointed out where tea coffee toast buffet etc was based. 1 min extra interaction with the customer would be so much more informative and helpful and avoid confusion, would definitely stay again

We arrived to check in at 2 and we were told we couldn’t check in till 4. So we waited in the lobby for 2 hours (it opens onto the restaurant and stank of fish). As we were waiting in the lobby we watched other guests arrive and check in so I asked the reception staff to let us know when a room was available and told them we were waiting in the lobby - they ignored this and continued to give rooms to other people. I then mentioned the only reason I booked the hotel was so that I could use the pool. I asked if I could use the pool whilst I waited and I wasn’t able to because there were no robes or changing facilities where the pool was. When we did finally use the pool (on both days) we were told by a moody pool lady that there were no robes or slippers - I felt like a tramp who was staying at a 2 star hotel. Especially where there were curled up plasters, a cotton bud, and empty water bottles all around the edge of the pool. There was no coffee machine in the room despite it being advertised that there was. Nobody seemed to care or be apologetic about the rubbish service. It’s a shame. would have been perfect if the staff knew how to run it or at least had some interest in customer service. I wouldn’t bother coming back.

Camden Court Hotel is situated in a Perfect Location, close to all amenities. They also have a spa massage service located in Lower Ground floor, Clover Thai Massage, Diana was very good, she made my stay extra special. I felt so refreshed after the massage. If you want to pamper yourself this is the best hotel to go . I would certainly recommend this hotel to family and friends.

Very nice hotel with a good location. We had a 'family room' which was a bit cramped. 2 x full beds and a pull out sleeper couch. Our kids were small enough that the sleeper couch was fine but the full size beds were just too small. Should be at least a queen size for 2 people imo! Breakfast was hot and cold buffet style. Lots of options. Lobby is very nice. Staff was friendly and helpful. Overall, a nice place to stay and would recommend.

Generally a good experience. Nice staff. Helpful. The breakfast was very good and set us up for the day. The swimming pool is excellent and 16 m. Easy walking to various places and central in that respect ; but quiet rooms. Good value for money.

Camden court is a central location for Dublin City centre. I was there for the Dublin Marathon weekend. The bed was so comfortable and breakfast was just what I needed. Car parking on site was really helpful even though there is a reasonable charge for it. The staff were helpful and friendly. Rooms were serviced and clean. I didn’t eat in the restaurant so I can’t comment on the lunch or dinner menu. I really enjoyed having the swimming pool and health spa available after the marathon. The hotel was buzzing with energy. I will definitely return. A good value stay for a city centre location.

All the staff are so kind and helpful. The enormous lobby full of comfortable chairs and sofas where one can have a drink is especially wonderful. Rooms are quiet, I never heard any noise from outside my room such as water running or voices in the hall. The buffet breakfast is amazing! Fruit, yogurt, porridge, all mannner of bread, rolls, pastries plus full Irish breakfast. But don`t leave your place unattended. Your dishes will be cleared and another guest seated there while you are getting seconds!

This hotel is very well situated just a few minutes walk from Saint Stephen’s Green. The rooms are clean,, well decorated and quiet - with very comfortable beds. The staff on the front desk are extremely helpful and welcoming. Indeed, the staff throughout the hotel are very pleasant and obliging. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.

We arrived too early to check in (10am) but were able to securely store our luggage. We freshened up in their leisure sweet and then we’re able to explore Dublin. The staff here is very friendly, very very friendly. The breakfast was buffet style of high quality. The room was very clean.

Excellent quality of rooms, furniture seating areas, service was second to none. Great stay here, even the lobby was in excellent condition and staff are so friendly and very welcoming. Only thing the Food Menu wasn't that great to be honest for the quality of the hotel. Not alot on the menu to be fair only downfall, other than that, Brilliant stay

Not my first stay and won’t be the last. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the city. As the weather was in our favour took advantage of the location to walk to dinner, the 3 arena and have drinks. It was great. Service top notch as always. Bed comfort can not be beat.

I loved the spa. There were a lot of service people, all smiling and helpful. Our room was elegant and the shower felt fashionable! The view from the room was of the back of the hotel,I wish we would of given the option of better view. We stayed two nights at holiday time, and I do recommend this hotel!

Very nice hotel and accomodation. The staff from the front desk, restaurant and housekeeping are all excellent in what service they provide. Melissa from the front desk went beyond and above to help us send a little surprise for one of our friends who is arriving and staying in the same hotel. This hotel and the staff is like a well oiled machine that runs so smoothly. It's a pleasurable experience to be a guest at this hotel. It can be a role model for other hotels on how to care for the clients.

We had a great weekend stay at the Camden Court. Fantastic location - lots of restaurants and bars close by. The staff were excellent and very efficient. The room was very good, just a little tired, but very clean. We will definitely stay again when we visit Dublin.

Great hotel! Staff attentive, rooms clean and spacious! Breakfast was delicious with a great selection. Location was really good, only a 2 minute walk from bus stop straight to and from airport, about a 20-30 miniature walk into town. Not much to fault!

I'm a member at Camden Court Fitness here. The staff here have been absolutely amazing. They're always willing to have a conversation. The facilities are great. Especially the indoor pool. They offer a very cheap membership with great benefits, like free parking.

Stayed here for two nights with my boyfriend and we had a fabulous time. The pool was lovely, very relaxing. The staff at reception were very helpful and really went out if their way to make our stay wonderful. Our room was very clean and comfortable with a big bed and smart TV. Would highly recommend

I was very surprised the room was just perfectly clean, newly designed for that value of money. We really loved the Ice Machine on 3th floor! Everyone at reception was absolutely lovely. It was a perfect location, short walk to the center of city, lots of restaurants outside hotel. What was quite disappointing was the pool area, we had to book in yet there was at least 30 people inside, people were coming in but nobody was leaving. We had a dinner at the restaurant, that was also a disappointment.

Stayed for 3 nights. The breakfast was good good selection for all. Had to ask for tea and toast two mornings. Rooms are quite warm and opening the window meant the room was filled with noise from the street. Wouldn't be to everyone's taste due to the noise, however they do have room away from the street that should be quieter.

The staff were lovely. The hotel is very tastefully laid out. The car park is a bit tight on space. The food served was very nice. A fine hotel I would recommend to anyone staying in Dublin.

Loved loved loved staying here. Right in the heart of Dublin. You could access so much of the city within walking distance. Uber was always available for longer trips. Great restaurants near by. Good size rooms with plenty of amenities. We ate in the hotel restaurant multiple times. People here were really friendly.

Great hotel well located, room was clean and bed could have slept 4 it was that big. Breakfast was very good with a lot of choice. Very near a whole load of pubs, bars and eateries and just around the corner from a team stop. Look forward to staying here again.

We had the pleasure of staying in this hotel last week.. it was like a little cocoon away from the madness but still so close to great restarunts and bars which we strolled to on one of the nights...the staff were really friendly the suite was spotless and the bed so comfy I didn't want to leave. Also the pool sauna and jacuzzi were an added bonus ..I would definitely stay again Lisa

Outdated interior design in bedrooms but this hotel has smart TVs in each bedroom which beats other hotels by a mile! No more watching boring TV channels with access to Netflix and YouTube making your stay that little more comfortable. The lobby is well designed and bright and the pool in this hotel is amazing, beautiful turquoise ambience!

My recent check in experience, guidance for near by bar, and stay was extremely pleasant. I want to highlight astounding efforts of Ana Garcia for displaying heightened customer service. Its not just property but staff as well that make a hotel stay experience truly 5 star. Keep up the good work Ana!!

Rooms clean but need freshened up. Staff very helpful and pleasant. Good location, about 15 min walk into city centre. Plenty of shops and restaurants around the hotel. Would definitely stay again.

  • 3/5 Melissa L. 1 year ago on Google
Location was perfect and staff were friendly. Breakfast was basic but did the job. Some of our cutlery/Bowls etc at breakfast were not fully clean which was not great. There was also some work going on in either the room above or beside us when we checked in and the morning when leaving- very noisy with banging and drills. On site car park, albeit handy was very very tight and cars were parked along walls and not designated spots making it harder to exit.

Amazing hotel! We stayed here for just a night but it was my husband’s birthday and they left us chocolates and a card. Room was immaculately clean and a good size, bathroom was updated, and the area can’t be beat. There’s also a bus directly from the airport that stops off just outside the hotel. Plenty of bars and good restaurants within a 5 minute walk. We 100% will be sure to stay here again next time we’re in dublin.

It was fantastic! Lovely room and really helpful staff! We arrived earlier in the morning and the lovely lady at reception gave us our room hours earlier than check in. This really helped us and we really appreciated it!! I know it won't be possible all the time but we really felt welcomed with that. Beautiful hotel.

It was clear that the hotel was highly occupied and busy but we were accommodated to check in relatively early, which suited us well. Breakfast the next morning, despite the hotel being choc a bloc, was excellent......the coffee strong and tasty. Staff across the board, as always, pleasant and helpful

Super vegan breakfast served to us by the most considerate chef, we really appreciated his care and kindness. The reception staff were also very friendly and courteous. The employees we met are a credit to the hotel.

We have stayed at the Camden Court a few times now, as not only is it a convenient location but the service there is excellent. You always feel you are looked after and nothing is too much trouble. The swimming pool and gym are an added bonus. We recently celebrated my husband's birthday with a group booking for 20 people in the restaurant. The food and beverages manager went above and beyond in helping to organise the event and it was a big success. Everyone was very impressed with the service and food. I would highly recommend.

We have stayed many times at Camden Court Hotel, and we will keep coming back as a family we enjoy it thoroughly. We can't fault it from the service to the location to the food, drinks etc and a huge huge hit that keeps on bringing us back is the staff, they make sure there guests are having the best time, especially Chloe , she is an absolute lady to deal with always so pleasing and would do anything to help . Thank you everyone at CC

When i was booking out i forgot to mention two issues. No1 while getting ready for the shower there was no shampoo it was too late at that point to contact room service. No2 the extraction fan wasn't working at all and it seems to be that way a long time. Any of the staff i dealt with were very helpful and the food was really good except there was no scramble egg at breakfast time 10.30 Sunday morning. All small things easily corrected but have an impact on the quality of our stay.
