We had an appointment at 2pm on Saturday. It started ok, however the lady who took our appointment seemed more concerned with what we were wearing rather than actually listening to what we were looking for. She rushed us out the door and we were back on Grafton st by 2.30 very confused and none the wiser about what styles we could go for. There was a real feeling of superiority from her and we felt pretty let down afterwards. We were told we would be sent an email showing us some other "settings" on Tuesday. It's now close of business on Wednesday and still nothing. Picking your engagement ring is meant to be a great experience and unfortunately this really ruined a day that meant alot to us.

I was very happy that I choose to go with Voltaire Diamonds when purchasing the engagement ring for my now fiancee (I had seen 3 others around Dublin). They (Sarah specifically) were professional and prompt in their email correspondence, I was made feel at ease when I went to see them and everything was explained to me very clearly and never felt like I was being pressured or rushed. Very happy with the service at Voltaire. I was able to get an appointment quickly. It was a relaxed environment and they stuck to the price range I gave them, they didn't try to upsell me. They answered all our questions. Their prices are fair. Only thing that bothered me was that I was told that once ordered my ring would be ready in a week and I would be notified. Two weeks go by and no one rung. I then rung them and when I did they told me it had been ready and then I see a ring looking just like mine on their Facebook page that had been posted a few days prior-sounds like someone forgot to ring us. Let me amend what I wrote above after they rung me to clarify: they don't feature client rings on social media-that was my misunderstanding.

We bought our engagement ring and wedding rings from Voltaire Diamonds. The staff are professional, polite, and so kind. No request is too big or too small for them. They are very flexible too as I have often dropped my ring in last minute to be cleaned and they have accommodated me. We had priced a few Dublin based jewellers and as well as having beautiful premises and professional staff, Voltaire Diamonds were competitively priced when compared to others. Given my very limited experience with choosing jewelry, apart from the occasional gift, I was very nervous and apprehensive about my decision to choose an engagement ring for my future fiancé, Gillian, without her prior approval. When I went for the initial meeting Sarah immediately put me at ease about the decision process. She was very helpful in giving me an indication of what different designs would look like (even when some samples were not available in hand). I especially like the lack of pressure to scale up to something that was outside my budget, Sarah made me feel comfortable in my decision and gave me the reassurance that changes could always be made in the future. Perhaps the biggest credit to Voltaire Diamonds was that I gave them a time frame for when I hoped to make the proposal that was completely naive and unrealistic. Despite this, the jewelers very kindly tried to accommodate me and managed to provide an outstanding product on schedule. I honestly couldn't have imagined it would have looked as good as it did. Most importantly, Gillian loved it too (and she said yes!). Even though she had the option, she didn't want to change a thing. Without a doubt we'll be back in the future to look at wedding rings. I highly recommend Voltaire for quality, price, and overall experience, whether you're making a decision as a couple or going out on a limb alone!

I couldn’t recommend Voltaire Diamonds enough. We had such a wonderful experience from start to finish. Rachel and Gabrielle were super to deal with and made both of our trips so special. The rooms and decor are totally different to any other place we went, it was a really relaxing environment. By the end of the first appointment we had landed on potentially going the custom root however I was nervous to commit to something I couldn’t fully try on but Gabrielle was so kind and not at all pushy, she was so informative, she made recommendations to what I thought I wanted based on her experience which was great.
