This
is
a
long
overdue
review.
My
wife
and
I
first
became
acquainted
with
Boodles
on
a
trip
to
Ireland
in
2016.
We
were
looking
to
get
her
a
nice
ring
to
celebrate
our
anniversary
and
had
researched
jewelry
stores
in
Dublin
before
traveling
there.
Boodles
was
last
on
the
list
as,
to
me,
they
also
appeared
to
be
the
most
posh
and
therefore
a
wee
bit
intimidating.
We
visited
all
of
the
others
on
the
list
first,
and
while
we
saw
many
nice
pieces,
we
were
practically
ignored
at
all
of
them.
We
left
each
of
them
feeling
a
bit
dejected
before
walking
to
our
next
and
final
stop.
We
walked
into
Boodles
and
before
we
could
even
take
a
second
step
into
the
store,
we
were
greeted
by
a
tall,
handsome
gentlemen
with
the
friendliest
smile
and
hands
outstretched:
"Hello!
I'm
Richie,
welcome
to
Boodles,
how
can
I
help
you
and
would
you
like
a
glass
of
Champagne?"
My
wife
was
immediately
smitten
and
of
course
said
yes.
I
indicated
I
prefer
whiskey,
and,
after
he
poured
my
wife
a
nice
glass
of
the
bubbly,
turned
around
and
produced
a
bottle
of
Teeling,
the
new
and
only
distillery
in
Dublin
at
the
time!
He
made
us
feel
totally
comfortable,
no
pressure
and
walked
us
around
the
sparkling
showroom,
introducing
us
to
each
of
the
other
representatives
-
all
of
whom
were
amazingly
gracious
and
welcoming.
After
looking
at
several
different
collections,
we
fell
in
love
with
the
Blossom
line
-
I
suppose
because
of
the
clover-like
design.
Again,
with
zero
pressure,
Richie
just
made
us
feel
special.
We
ended
up
with
the
Blossom
ring
and
my
wife
was
thrilled.
It's
such
a
beautiful
piece,
and
the
best
part
for
me
-
there's
a
whole
collection
to
choose
from
for
future
occasions!
My
wife
now
has
the
entire
Blossom
collection
including
the
gorgeous
watch,
all
of
which
Richie
facilitated
remotely
(we
live
on
the
US
East
Coast).
We
visited
Richie
again
last
year
(now
the
store
manager
-
because
of
course!)
and,
in
addition
to
being
the
best
host
and
introducing
us
to
his
friend
J
Jean
:),
he
helped
us
start
a
new
collection
-
this
time
Rain
Dance
with
emeralds.
Just
stunning!
