I went to Liffey Medical for a series of tests. I received most of the results shortly after but was told that the results for one particular test would take 3-4 weeks. 8 weeks later, I am yet to receive the results. I have emailed the clinic several times and received no response; I have called the clinic multiple times and they never pick up. When it goes through to voicemail, there is no space to leave a message. this is a response to your response: Your response is a non-sequitur. Did you even read my message properly? I never got the result for my test when I was told I would receive it within 3-4 weeks. How can I even know whether I need to book a follow up appointment or not if I never got the test result in the first place? No wonder I’m having so much trouble getting through to you if you can’t even read.

Absolutely recommend 100%, I really needed to see a Doctor, my GP is very good but was off sick, I’d tried to get an appointment at other places including my regular clinic since Wednesday (6days) but failed, today I felt really very unwell & then I got an appointment immediately at Liffey Medical, by booking online, the Doctor was lovely, very easy to speak with, he explained what was wrong along with what I needed to do to get better & gave me a prescription to help. Less than 10 hours later & I am feeling much much better which is amazing & I am so relieved. Thank you so much & I am so glad I found this great clinic even if I had to become sick to do so, at least I now know where to go if this happens again. Also the atmosphere in the clinic, Jazz music, lovely plants & interesting art is very calming & the location is great very easy to get to. I hope I don’t see you soon… 😊 but I will be back!!! Thank you.

This place is shambolic. My wife went for tests in late March and was told they would let her know the results in 3-4 weeks. They never contacted her again, never responded to her emails, and every single time she called the clinic there was no answer. When she did get through, it went straight to voicemail, which was full, so she couldn't leave a message. When she recently left a review complaining, their response was irrelevant gibberish that didn't address the issue at hand. They either hadn't read her review properly or were too stupid to understand it. Neither would surprise me.

Let me prefece this by saying that in my 5 years of Dublin I've been to countless GPs. Most are equally incompetent, with little time and tendentially late. I require blood test pretty frequently and until now I've never found a doctor that simply did what I asked without preaching "why do I need this". A bit like a cashier asking customers why did they buy a kitkat. Anyway, this GP clinic stands out among the rest. The doctor seemed knowledgeable, saw me on perfect schedule, didn't make a fuss about me wanting particular blood tests and the price is probably the cheapest I found for bloods + consultation. All I wish is I had found this GP sooner. Now, reviews are a tricky thing because the evaluation is made based on the evaluator's personal value system. Some people value small talk and "hand holding". Some want a more "direct to the point". So, in context, my value system is: - being seen on time - by a competent doctor - taking as little time as possible, as one should not enjoy being at the doctor in general - with reasonable prices - no preaching Since this GP fits my value system, he gets 5 stars from me and repeat business. Other reviewers that left a low review might have done that because the doctor did not fit their own value system. Keep that in mind when reading reviews and ask yourself "do I care about the same things this review is complaining about?". Remember that no product or business is right for everyone, so take reviews with a grain of salt.

Went to Liffey Medical last week to use there STI service. Was a bit nervous but the doctor was lovely and kind. He put me right at ease as soon as I walked in. The tests were conducted fast and very professionally and I received my results within a week. Would highly recommend this doctor practice to anybody and a very clean and cosy waiting area with jazz music playing calmed my nerves too. I'll definitely return and am happy to have found a new GP I can trust.

I am an exchange student in Dublin and had an infection that needed treatment. made a very quick online appointment at Liffey Medical Clinic and was able to see the doctor on that same day. Very nice service, very polite, no waiting time and was done after 10 mins. Definitely recommend and will go again if required.

I was here once before - I found Dr Hinchey to be very helpful and a good doctor. Unfortunately the person covering his reception is extremely unprofessional. I arranged to book an appointment and was met with a woman with screaming children in the background - she was extremely rude and abrupt and challenging me on the reason of my consultation - even though that was between myself and my GP. After booking the appointment, I was so disappointed at my interaction with the receptionist that I rang back to cancel - when I told her I was cancelling she proceeding to hang up. As a result of this interaction I will be finding another practice. This is such a shame because the person representing the surgery is letting it down enormously.

Very impressed. Managed to get a same day appointment and in and out in under 15 minutes. Struggled to find a GP recently so was a relief. Friendly doctor, simple and easy to use online booking system. The business model seems to be slightly different to your traditional village GP but it works(no calling and hoping you get an appointment in 5 days) Will be recommending to friends and colleagues.

This is one of the worst clinics I have ever asked for a blood test. I came here because I work in health, and I need a pre employment blood test exam. I booked online my blood test, and I paid 120 Euros for my exam. The day of the exam I had a personal problem so I couldn’t go. I sent an email early in the morning explaining my situation. Firstly, they told me that they couldn’t do anything, saying indirectly that they will keep the money. After insisting multiple opportunities, they told me that they would give me a refund of 50%. I called many times to asked for my refund, they told me that is already done but it is not, so they still have my 120 Euros. I went to the clinic in person to ask about what I could do but there wasn’t any receptionist to help. It is a waste of time and money!!

He gave me a treatmant that is helping me, easing my pain and I am really happy to have a reliable GP like him. He has my deepest recommendation.

My own GP was booked out for 2 weeks. This place accepts medical cards without question. No waiting. They are actually inteerested in seeing patients. Problem was small but solved without problems. They took myMC as payment. Delighted

Went for a standard blood test as I wanted to do a general health check before I started training for a fitness competition. Appointment was made easily online, no waiting at the clinic, results came back quickly, and everyone was very professional. Prices were also very reasonable.

I called LIFFEY MEDICAL GP this morning to make an appointment as my first time but the woman who answered the phone scared me the way that she shouted I never had this terrible experience even in a Public Health Service. At the same time that she asked many questions she didn’t have listened the answer and kept shouting I just kind asked her please to give me a minute to listen while I was trying to answer all her questions SHE CALLED ME RUDE “ It’s her business so she can speak on the way that she wants” then told me to find another GP because she wasn’t going to book me on TURNING OFF THE PHONE while I was listening to all verbal aggression that she was saying without any reason. This woman definitely shouldn’t be working with people, She needs help. On they page I saw a review which someone mentioned the Stuff and specifically the receptionist bad behavior but as they also have good reviews that I have to agree that they looks all FAKE so I want to say if you find this place on Google as I did avoid it, paying €60 to be treated like nothing you can find a good place for this money.

FAKE REVIEWS..... Doctor is OK, easy to deal with. Receptionist and other staff are a different story. 17 phone calls and 5 emails in 2 days. Very, very hard to reach. I see a lot of FAKE REVIEWS too. You know when you have a person who only reviewed one place in their lifetime and gave it 5*.

PLEASE AVOID THIS CLINIC! I have never in my life written a Google review - but I will start by saying that I wish I could give this negative stars. I came to Liffey medical with a very simple problem - yet a problem that required some urgency. Therefore, instead of meeting my normal GP who was booked out a week, I took my chances at Liffey, entrusting that it was a safe medical clinic. The lack of professionalism within this clinic has resulted in many issues I am now dealing with nearly two months later. I had a small lump appear in my lower leg. A bit unusual. Slight discomfort but no shooting pain. I met with the doctor at Liffey. My first impression of the place gave me an odd feeling, so I quickly came back outside and asked my boyfriend to sit in the waiting room as the place just seemed... weird. There was no receptionist, the waiting room (if you can call it that) and office was almost one area - no privacy between the two it seemed. I brushed it off a small practice - fine. I noticed however - the doctor quickly putting his mask on as I entered, almost in a rush as if he had forgotten I had an appointment. (I felt like I was walking into someone's weird attic...) I explained my problem. Before checking the lump, the doctor turned to grab some rubber gloves off of a dusty (yes - dusty!!!) surgical bed covered in tons of covid testing equipment. Not the most comfortable or clean place, to say the least. He checks the lump for a few seconds - then quickly affirms "infected mosquito bite". I was surprised by this diagnosis, as well as the speed at which he formulated it. I had no visible bite prior to the lump that formed - or itching around the area. I was relieved, though as I knew such a thing could be treated - so despite my hesitation - I accepted this diagnosis. After all, he is a doctor. I am not. He prescribed me a large dose of two different antibiotics to be taken together, four times a day. I was happy to pay him and have a solution and simply forgot about the weird office. The antibiotics however gave me bad side-effects. I powered through the remaining prescription and decided to give the doctor a call, as the lump was still the same. He was friendly on the phone and said "I'm going to call you back this evening. Pease email me to remind me - we will probably put you on another antibiotic." I thought it odd that I be told to wait for an evening phone call, but nonetheless accepted this and went ahead and emailed him to remind him... I chose not to worry and went on with my day. I followed up the next week, as I never received a call. This is when things began to take a turn for the worst. A receptionist answered the phone this time and I explained that I was simply following up, as I had been told to wait for a call. I was very cordial and expected to receive further instruction. No big deal I thought. However, the woman on the phone was immediately defensive to me. She accused me of complaining and exclaimed that she didn't know why I "expected a phone call in the evening". It really shocked and confused me as a patient to be met with such confrontational communication from a medical office. When I expressed that I was uncomfortable with our conversation and that I would like to speak with the doctor - she exclaimed rudely "but you don't want to pay us for it!" I was stunned. She replied that she was the manager and "very professional" (lol) when I told her how unprofessional she was being on the phone. I decided to see my regular GP after the way I was treated. Turns out: I never had an infected mosquito bite!! I was 100% misdiagnosed! It was random tissue that eventually dissolved on its own (after doing an ultra sound - which Liffey NEVER suggested). My bad feeling about the place was accurate intuition! My GP was shocked at the amount of antibiotics I was prescribed - (and I still nearly two months later have side-effects from the dosage). And they wanted to prescribe me even more! This place is clearly just pumping out private covid testing and scraping for profits. DO NOT GO HERE!

I first went to Dr Timothy Hinchey a year ago because I was suffering from extreme anxiety and depression because of the death of my sister. I was very happy with Dr Hinchey back then. In May I started feeling very tired and generally unwell and I have been suffering from a very sore knee. Not thinking this would end up so awful I went in and asked for a GP ordered blood test. Dr Hinchey told me to go to any hospital so I chose TUH Dublin because they had the earliest appointment. I was told it would take one to two weeks for the results to be sent to my Doctor. 3 weeks later I went in and was told they had not arrived. I don't know if anyone out there knows what its like to wait for test results but its very stressful! Another two weeks goes by . We are in early July now and I called the office and was told they did not arrive and I should call the hospital. I called and was told the results were sent to Dr Hinchey but they would send them again that day. I called the Doctors office again and was told the same thing they do not have the results and I should call the hospital. I called the hospital and was told that my Doctors office should call and make sure they have the right information for him as they couldn't take my word for it as I am not in his employ. I called the office several times to relay this message and was told I would get a call back which never happened. The last time I called I was crying and the secretary spoke to me very rudely. I finally went in and explained this to the Dr and was met with a rude and curt response saying he doesn't have time to call hopitals and basically made me feel like garbage! Knowing how I suffer from anxiety and depression I found this so surprising! I begged him to call the hospital and he flat refused and told me to do it! I can't update my Doctors information! How did he graduate from medical school? He finally said he would call later that day. That was a week ago. I have been so depressed because of this I have seriously thinking of joining my sister. I have no idea why Dr Hinchey or his secretary couldn't just make a quick phone call and why they are treating me so badly. These people obviously have no empathy or regard for their patients. Stay away from this place. It's a terrible place with people who don't care about you at all! I am looking into taking legal action for pain and suffering and medical negligence as I have been in an awful state because of this.

Amazing experience, booked in 2 hours before the appointment, the doctor was extremely efficient and comprehensive, the visit was quick and got exactly what we went in for in 10 minutes. It is unbelievable that someone would rate this GP with a low score, to be honest. I will definitely recommend it to everyone.

Attended this clinic today wow is all I can say. From start to finish from speaking to the receptionist this morning what a lovely lovely girl. Same day appointment within an hour and a half surgery spotless. Arrived at the clinic was seen next too straight away. I could not recommend this office enough. I had a very complicated request that encompassed pretty much every physical test and bloodwork you could think of. Dr. Hinchey was of the utmost professional and efficient doctoral etiquette that I could have ever requested. Lorrie was always on the spot with responding to emails, and they fit me in with an appointment ASAP. Amazing!

Dr. Tim Hinchey is very patient and empathetic, does not feel like you are being rushed through your 15 minute appointment. Visited as I had really bad pain in my foot. While the recommended treatment is Ibuprofen, which I am really allergic to, Dr. Tim Hinchey tried to find me the next best alternative and was also cognisant to ensure I did not have an allergic reaction to it. He also assured me that the condition was not harmful, which was relieving as the pain makes you feel otherwise. The receptionist is also very nice and friendly. Definitely recommend this GP practice.

Results are given so quickly that you would wonder if it was tested in lab at all or not. Only one person in the whole office. Person collecting the sample wasn't well trained. He was taking it as if he was drilling in the throat and nose. I have previously done private covid test 3 times for traveling purpose. It was never like this. Twice Dr Hinchey has helped me out with last minute PCR tests. Working abroad, it’s difficult to travel and not let people down at work. Dr. H knew the score and pushed through my tests to get results back in time. Other clinics do not help in this way normally even after explains ni your situation. I travelled down from the north for the tests, and I am very happy with the service received to the point that I would consider travelling to Dublin and visiting Dr. H for other medical matters if needed. It’s a weight off my mind when you know this option is here. Highly recommend.

Came to Dublin and had some trouble. Very easy to access. Reasonably priced unlike most Dublin GPs. Lovely doc, who gave me prescription and advice. Called the next day to check how I was doing. Would highly recommend Liffey Medical to anyone needing GP in Dublin City centre.

I had a fantastic experience with the Doctor. He was kind, understanding and made me feel very calm during the appointment. Clearly he is experienced and takes his practice very seriously. Would 100% recommend and will be returning as a patient wherever necessary.

Couldn't be happier with the service of this medical practice, professional and also friendly, everything explained thoroughly giving you the reassurance that you need. Standards are very high, prompt service seen at your appointment time no waiting around like many other surgeries. During this covid 19 pandemic all protocols covered, sanitizer everywhere, top marks for abiding by these guidlines .Could not recommend enough .

Cannot recommend Liffey Medical highly enough. We needed to have a Covid-19 PCR swab test done to travel back to work abroad, under very strict turnaround requirements. Liffey Medical offer a 48 hour turnaround, and actually we received it in half the time, and received an email with a .Pdf containing exactly what we needed for immigration. The actual test was quickly completed by Dr Hinchey, who was very efficient, professional and friendly, but most importantly he took enough swab that the lab could process it! Definitely recommend that you have your test done here if you need the cert for travel. 5* for sure!

I am very pleased with dr Tim Hinchey, he is a phenomenal GP. He is caring and attentive, knowledgeable and effective and he makes you feel very comfortable. I feel blessed I have found the best general practitioner in Dublin. I recommend him to anyone who is looking for a top notch GP.

Wouldn't not recommend this doctor. I had to go twice for a follow up and did not feel listened to. the door was open during the appointment which didn't give me the privacy that I expect. The diagnosis seemed very rushed and at random. I was there in April and no Covid guidelines were installed. All in all, knowing that the practice just opened, I would not recommend going there.
