Great place for social get together or a date. Drinks and service are good, prices are fair (but not cheap) and most importantly, music isn't too loud.

When I’m in Dublin, Madigan’s Irish Pub is where you can always find me. I too once dated a girl from Pennsylvania who was a Madigan, and a girl from Belfast. And, yea I did have an Irish mother, grandmother, and we’ll duh great grandmother. It’s funny many blacks have Irish blood to include Eddie Murphy, Lorenzo Downs Turner, Cassias Clay…

The Madigans is a very cosy pub in the heart of Dublin. Super well located, it's exterior and interior design are great. The bar is super impressive with tons of bottles on display! The staff is friendly and will make sure that you have what you need to enjoy your time. They will serve you at the table or at the bar (as you wish pretty much). We ordered BBQ chicken and when the food came in, the waitress realized that a mistake was made on the order. She corrected it immediately and was very apologetic. Highly recommended! :)

Unfortunately we went here on Friday night 19th December . 20 of us from an organisation close by. Staff were rude , Guinness was bad . We were aware that a private function was arranged for later on in the night so moved off the tables and were standing in the body of the bar when a staff member physically took drink off us told us to get out. Ways and means of asking people to leave. Management need to retrain their staff on customer relations. Sad day we will see in January when the place is empty if they want our patronage.

Newly arrived from the United States, we were tired and in desperate need of sustenance. Madigan’s was just down the street, and it was both close and very, very good. If you are looking for a proper pint and great comfort food, look no further.

(Translated by Google) Wow!!! Very cozy place, with comforting and tasty food, as well as a very extensive and clear wine list, several beers, but especially Guinness! The bathrooms are clean, the waiters and attendants are very kind and the music is very good. I plan to return soon. (Original) Uau!!!

Absolutely fantastic food and amazing service - we went in here for a drink during lunch before visiting the shops - it was so nice we decided to come back for food before we went to a show at the National Concert Hall, I am a manual wheelchair user and we mentioned that we would be coming back and the server, Liz (fantastic waitress), was good enough to reserve a table for us. Even though staff were run off their feet they made sure that we had everything we wanted and made sure that I had easy access to the wheelchair accessible toilet. Madigans is now our spot any time we are going to a show we will be going back here. Thank you so much Madigans - We will be back!!

Poor atmosphere, needs redecorating, loads of potential in a prime location the pubs on Camden Street would give it a ton. Also service hit and miss.

As Dublin pubs go, this is a good one. Good pints, good atmosphere, centrally located but far enough away from the hype zone for comfort. Food menu has good selection and they serve up to 9.30. Food is nicely presented, and pints are proper pints. A bit pricey - but that's Dublin for you. Otherwise would be 5 stars overall. Recommended. I live in Dublin.

Spent an excellent few hours in Madigans on a recent Dublin visit. Enjoyed a stunning Irish Stew washed down with a couple of pints of Ireland's national drink. My wife, a vegetarian non drinker, enjoyed a tasty serving of Butternut soup, and is insistent that we return again tonight. Very warm and welcoming relaxed atmosphere. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

2 diners for lunch, ordered toasties, no other diners in the pub, toasties took approx 30 mins to be served and looked like they were taken out of a bin. The bread was white & hard as a rock and tasted stale. We returned the food to the server. There was no apology, not an eyelid batted. Can only assume it happens regularly. Neither of the bar staff offered an apology or an alternative. In fact the situation was ignored. We wasted our valuable lunch in a cold bar/restarant. Lesson learned won't be dining there again.

Really nice establishment, lovely staff, we didn't have food on our visit but what we saw and smelled it looked amazing, the service was good and the range of drinks was exemplary, nice handy central location with good links, close to trams etc
