Here hospitality meets great food, amazing port views and great culinary experience. If you want a front row seat, I recommend booking ahead of time over email. This is our second time in this restaurant and I can’t recommend enough. Amazing fresh fish cooked to perfection. Hospitality is just top notch. They give you amazing guide, explain you how your food is prepared. I can definitely recommend their catch of the day fish and their strawberry spritz.

We had an AMAZING time here. To start, we got really lucky with a reservation cancelling and ended up getting one of the best tables in the restaurant. We ended up sitting next to some famous boxer, so you might run into celebrities here. Second, the service was the best we had in the whole country. Very friendly and helpful, always checking on us and answering any question we had. The suggestions he gave us were all delicious. Lastly, the food was fantastic. We ordered the truffle pasta, lamb, and squid entrees. I will order all of those items again. Thank you Arsenal for an amazing dinner, we really had a great time. I highly recommend this restaurant but stay away so I don't have to wait in line for the best dinner in Dubrovnik.

THIS PLACE IS AMAZING!! After having dinner here we ended up trying their two other sister-restaurants and then coming back here for drinks and dessert our last day. The vibe is just so relaxing with the view and blankets. Definitely ask for seating in the back at the port <3 all the food was delicious and the drinks to die for !! The poison pear cocktail is a must try. Have so many good things to say about this place, one of the best experiences in Dubrovnik

Beautiful view, amazing food, 5 star service! Truffle and mushroom pasta was rich and creamy. Be sure to get some focaccia on the side to soak up all the delicious pasta sauce. Sailor style risotto was full of so much flavour, with a perfectly balanced ratio of seafood to risotto. The mussels were bathing in a light, but flavourful buttery garlic broth. *chefs kiss* Last, but not least, the pistachio chocolate vanilla cream cake was out of this world! Light and sweet, with a little nuttiness. Honestly, one of the best desserts I have ever had. I highly recommend getting it, regardless of how full you may be, or you’ll regret not trying it! Pricing is more than fair for the great ambiance and great service. Be sure to call ahead for reservations if you want seats outside or plan to come during off peak times to secure a decent seat outdoors.

The best restaurant to visit while in the old town! Highly Recommended !!!!! The view over the harbor is a dream - come just before sunset and watch the colour a change over the harbor and town. If you choose to look Over the square you can sit on the other side of the restaurant! Very romantic very well served

Beautiful restaurant and location in Dubrovnik, it made our stay. We weren’t able to reserve a table for dinner but went for a drink as we were promised to be seated. Ended up with a great table with a view of the harbour immediately on arrival (pictured). Highly recommend booking to avoid disappointment and requesting the east wing of the restaurant for the best views, which combined with the arches are breathtaking. The ambiance at night was stunning, waiting staff were extremely professional and faultless. The food was excellent we had sea bass, truffle pasta, beef steak and a selection of the daily desserts. Price is extremely fair given the location, service and quality of the food. I loved that they had Stina Pôsip on the menu. Top tip don’t skip dessert even if you’re full as you will regret it. The white chocolate and pistachio was sublime. If you want a special evening this is the place.

Probably my favourite dining experience to date!!! Exceptionally good food and service. Our waiter Marko did everything to make sure we had the most wonderful time - his service was warm, friendly and professional. He also suggested a perfect Croatian white wine pairing with my main which was a delicious sea bass. I would highly recommend dining here. Try to get a table by the sea - the view is incredible. Gets very busy in the evenings, but we had no trouble getting a table at 5:30pm. Thank you to the whole team at Arsenal for a wonderful experience ❤️

Our experience here was amazing! When we called to make a booking the person on the phone said it was all booked out and to try for a walk in table! We tried and were met with stunning service! The food was divine! I really recommend the truffle pasta, they are liberal with the truffles!!! And also try the marinated zucchini entree! It was really perfect, especially with the addition of such a stunning view!

Loved this place, we came back the next night for drinks. If you have a dinner reservation you will most likely be sat outside on the harbor side and the view is nice. The next night we didn’t have a reservation and just wanted drinks and were sat on the opposite side (still outside) with a view of the square. The food and service were great (party of 5). The old fashioned was excellent. I’m not normally a fan of this drink but this one was amazing; it’s the main reason we went back for drinks.

Another top contender on our family trip. Also, speaking of which, many people brought their families along here, which is pretty awesome. When you get a reservation at the terrace, this is the area next to the water. Great view and a wonderful time. The food is nothing to scoff at either-weve never had oysters from out here but they could hold their own! And the truffle pasta was solid, and the mussels were amazing. A solid all around restaurant in dbv. Please make a visit!

I had a wonderful breakfast here four days in a row, and dinner on my last night in Dubrovnik! It’s a top notch restaurant, with excellent service, the most desirable location, with fresh and delicious food! For breakfast, lunch or dinner, you’ll be pleased with your experience!

Six stars! * * * * * * Me and my girlfriend came here for our 5 month anniversary and to be honest I can’t see how we’re going to top this place for our 6th month celebrations. This restaurant exudes a sense of quality from the moment you see the entrance. The indoor dining area looks like someone’s very nice wedding, but we chose to dine outside, just as everyone else was doing. The menu is deliberately limited, with only four options in the meat section of the menu - the sign of a quality restaurant. All too often there’s too big a menu which means that the food is frozen or not cooked properly, or both. Not here. This had one option each for Chicken, Pork, Duck and Beef. There’s other areas of the menu too, which you can see in the pictures. I got the pork belly and my girlfriend got the duck. Both were so soft they could quite possibly have been eaten with a spoon. Usually my girl avoids getting duck because it’s often cooked incorrectly, but here it was done to absolute perfection. They had a very large array of cocktails available, and I enjoyed both of ours. My partner remarked that normally I don’t enjoy the type of cocktail she ordered, but at this place I did. As for the setting, the view was gorgeous. It overlooks the harbour directly, so it feels very peaceful watching the ships bob up and down gently in place. I’ve included pictures of each page of the menu so you can get an idea of their variety and prices. I highly recommend this place, especially for special occasions.

Fantastic seafood with fantastic sea view! The waiter Ivan Sare was very friendly and warm. He took super good care of us. Oysters were super fresh and sweet. Sailor Style Risotto and Fish Stew were very delicious too. We cleared everything on the plates including the sauce! BTW don't miss the table olive oil and vigenar coz they have a beautiful aroma and go very well with their well-baked bread.

We went here for our wedding anniversary meal whilst in Dubrovnik and it did not disappoint. From start to finish the service was excellent and the waiter was very attentive. We actually had the special set menu that they had on as part of a local food festival. Each course was delicious. We also enjoyed a bottle of Croatian red. We were unable to sit in the outside terrace due to the weather but the atmosphere inside was lovely. The waiter gave us a complimentary walnut brandy to finish

Stunning place with amazing views. There are seats at the front of the restaurant overlooking the town. However, I recommend sitting in the terrace around the back. There are a lot of seats there overlooking the water which is breathtaking! The food is just as beautiful as the view. We went there everyday for lunch during our visit to Croatia and ended up having a couple of dishes twice just because they were so tasty. I recommend the Sailor Style risotto and Bourbon Beef gnocchi. Delicious 🙌🏻

If you are debating what to eat in the Old Town, just head to this place and have their daily special Fish dish! Their fish dish is fresh, delicate, and most importantly delicious. We were eating the last bite of fish — it was sooooo good! Black risotto was quite tasty too. The pairing of the white wine Ante (our server) suggested with our dishes was just perfect. Ante’s service was thoughtful and excellent. He patiently waited on us and offered great options per our preference. Not to mention how gorgeous the view was from our table outside! Their ambience was a great addition to their amazing food and Ante’s tasteful service!

This restaurant has a beautiful view of the harbor, yummy food, and great service. It was definitely our best dinner in Dubrovnik. I'd totally recommend trying the black risotto and the squid – they were super tasty!

This is my second time here. It seems that every time I come to this city, I choose to eat here. The taste, service and view are really as good as ever! Especially this time the experience was very considerate. My daughter came here for the first time and didn’t like the dessert 🍮 recommended by the waiter. Maybe for her, the taste of eggs was too strong, so she basically didn’t eat it. Later, the service staff noticed and asked about this problem, and then specially gave us a discount when we checked out. It can only be said that what retains guests is not only appetite, but also warmth

Managed to snag a table at sunset. Beautiful atmosphere and great view of the stradun (center of Old Town). Octopus salad and truffle pasta were incredible and flavorful. Can’t wait to go back.

Gradska kavana arsenal is a great choice for a romantic dinner by the bay with historical monuments around overlooking the city and situated next to waterfront/harbor. Wonderful selection of wines and good food for seafood lovers they have a wide variety of seafood on their menu. Recommended for a friendly or romantic dinner with a mind boggling view.

We ended up eating at this amazing restaurant twice in the one day we spent in the old town. Our lunch was facing the town, across from the St Blaise Church. We had the fish soup and the tuna salad. For dinner we sat on the opposite side, facing the old port. The views were mesmerizing in both directions. Our dinners were the fish stew and the catch-of-the-day tuna steak. All the dishes were truly exceptional. Though I have to further praise the tuna steak as I just kept my first few bites in the mouth for a few minutes, sucking the juice out of them and savouring the flavour. Service was very attentive, accommodating and friendly. Ambiance and presentation were very classy.

We came from the cruise looking to enjoy a brunch but they only had the breakfast. We didn't have reservation and we got a table for 2. The view is breathtaking, you are overlooking the bay and the mountains. Excelent service. Our server was very nice!!

We came here as a walk in on Saturday night and we are so glad we did as it was the perfect end to our trip. Definitely in our top 3 places to eat in the old town as the atmosphere was fantastic! Being there in the evening with the views of the port felt surreal. Service was impeccable, food was fantastic and live music was superb. The only fault was ours for not booking it (which meant we had to wait in the bar for a little while- but it was so worth the wait). If you are visiting, definitely book especially on a Friday/ Saturday evening.

I recently dined at Gradska kavana arsenal, and I must say, it was a delightful experience. The pulpo salad left me pleasantly surprised with its delicious flavors, and the grilled squid was simply mouthwatering. What truly stood out was the professional and attentive service. The staff made sure we felt well taken care of throughout our meal. I’ll definitely be returning to savor more of their delectable dishes and top-notch service

Best restaurant in Dubrovník! It is highly recommended for a romantic dinner. It requires a reservation, otherwise it is quite hard to sit, it is always full. Dishes designed in a special way, it's an art of food design! Tuna was the best, fried in a medium rare, very soft and awesome taste. The location is great, very relaxing atmosphere. Service is the best.

Amazing!!!! The food was cooked to perfection, the view is stunning and the waiting staff are attentive. The interior is bright and inviting, everything was super clean. It was a little chilly when I visited, staff offered blankets and heaters so we could enjoy our time. We had a wonderful time here and would 110% recommend 👌🏽

Spacious restaurant with indoor and outdoor sections overlooking port. Menu is very decent, both foods and beverages (although beer selection could be wider). We were happy with our order, local cheese platter was a hit. Squid very decent, fish stew was least interesting (little bang for the buck). Overall impression is positive, but not all dishes are worth it.

Tuna steak is amazing! Service was incredible, staff is the best so far. More i planine pasta was good, although I didn't really like the mojito. It is situated in the heart of the marine area. Worth visiting. Make a reservation!

Incredible view! The pasta with mushroom and truffle was Devine. My husband had the steak and polenta and he said it was beautiful. Service was top class, served by a guy named Ivan. He made sure we were well taking care, Highly recommend.

Wow! This restaurant is absolutely divine. The mannerisms from staff and the food were incredible. There was a nice range for Vegetarian and Non Vegetarian options and the Truffle Mushroom pasta was mouth watering. I even went back a few days later. Outstanding service together with great food! Service was on point, friendly and warm waiter. The food was good, I order the cheese plate and the tuna tartar as starters, for my main truffle and mushroom pasta (for me it was lacking a bit of salt) and apple pie for desert. The cocktails and the wine were superb. Overall very happy with my experience.

Beautiful place to eat and the live guitarist made the ambiance incredibly romantic. The place is on the old town port which is my favourite part of the city. It gets super busy and the waiters and waitresses do a great job at flurrying around providing fast service. The food itself was good - but a little on the salty side. It just tasted a little too salty.

We booked a table in the terrace two months before, and they gave us a REALLY NICE ONE. Perfect view!! We were amused by the atmosphere and the beauty of the place. All the staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a truffle pasta and Lamb. Both delicious. We can’t recommend this place enough. The price is high but it’s the Dubrovnik standard for a fine dinner. It’s totally worth it.

We stumbled upon this must-dine restaurant during the first evening of our trip to Dubrovnik. Our serendipitous encounter (after being exhausted from travel and not researching our first night dining decision) ended up becoming our daily go-to for the next 4 days. Sometimes we stayed for just a drink and others, for the full dining experience which includes solid affordable fare and 2 personalities. The front restaurant space provides a window into the pace and variety of travelers in OT while delivering the perfect location to view beautiful historic aesthetics and access to central restaurants/bars, legendary coral jewelers, nightlife, and more. The back space is right on the water facing the impeccably gorgeous blue Adriatic Sea which is surrounded by stunning cliffs. The view here is incredibly picturesque and provides a completely different experience. The staff here is also exceptional, especially Mario who went above and beyond to make my cousin feel special on her birthday plus, he always dedicated extra time to make us both smile and laugh whenever we visited (while still providing top notch service to every patron). We loved Arsenal more than any other restaurant (and there are a ton of worthy candidates in OT) based on the above. We were instantly comfortable from night one and the lively, yet warm energy of their environment consistently earned our business. 5+ stars across the board! Note -make a reservation in advance and request your preferred experience - you can’t go wrong!

Following a visit in 2015, we returned here for lunch on our holiday last week. It was just as good as we remembered! Our waiter Agnan was attentive and the food was wonderful! The views are spectacular and the restaurant is beautiful. Highly recommended! Hopefully we will return again one day soon x

This was our first bite of food in Croatia and it was fantastic from start to finish. The staff were very friendly, very attentive and very welcoming. We enjoyed a lovely seafood dinner with a view of the water, and some excellent cocktails. It was a great experience and we would absolutely come back again!

The first evening we went to the old town, we saw this restaurant and made a reservation for our last evening. The location of this restaurant is just spectacular as their terraces looks over the old port. For a front row seat reservations are necessary. It was so nice to see the night falling in over Dubrovnik. The service is impeccable and the menu has enough options for everyone. Thank you for the amazing experience.

stopped at this place for breakfast and loved it! they had iced coffee with almond milk which is harder to find in europe (more like an iced latte not iced coffee but still good). The outdoor seating on both ends was picturesque and amazing views. Service was friendly and accommodating but it did take a while to get the check. The “healthy breakfast” seemed like a lunch salad but still amazing!!! iced tea was good as well and they had clean bathrooms.

Dinner was good! A little bit more expensive than some other places, but you’re paying for the views for sure. The steak was good, but lacked seasoning. We also got the fish of the day, which ended up being ahi tuna and it was good as well. We did not have a reservation, so we didn’t sit as close on the patio portion closest to the water, we were just inside, which was still really nice. Our waiter was amazing, good vibes, had a piano player halfway through the evening.

We went there to have breakfast. There’s a sign asking to wait to be seated so we waited for a while but it didn’t take too long for a staff to notice us and let us in (although there’s a group who ignored the sign and went in, skipping us which was not stopped by anyone at the restaurant :( ). The food was bad for such an expensive price so it is most likely a tourist trap. The croissant was dry, ham, cheese tasted like the ones from any super market. The salad had no synchronised taste and lacked of sauce. However, the view was fantastic. I recommend everyone to sit outside and enjoy the amazing view of Dubrovnik port.

The best place to eat in Dubrovnik. Everything was exceptional, from the food to the service and the ambience. Impeccable. Only exception was the cakes so I recommend skipping those. Came here for breakfast the next day which also didn’t disappoint (except for the poached eggs where the bread was a bit crunchy). After sitting here once they give you a 10% discount voucher for the next time you visit. A definite must-go if you’re in Dubrovnik.

Beautiful restaurant. Loved the atmosphere and view. Oysters, octopus salad, and seafood risotto was delicious. The truffle pasta was not impressed though. It tasted like basic Alfredo sauce, that was disappointing. I would recommend coming here and skipping the truffle pasta!

We went here twice during our trip to Dubrovnik. The black risotto is to die for! We also tried the chicken breast and the steak, both very good. The location is really beautiful and I would recommend to book a table in advance so that you have a chance to get the tables with the best view. We also went once without a booking and we were able to get a table with no waiting time, but probably better to book in advance just to be sure. The dishes are expensive, but I believe they have a good price quality ratio given the prices in Dubrovnik.
