Nice and fast breakfast, great view, and good service! We had a nice breakfast here. The view was amazing. Sunny side-up eggs and the omelette were cooked perfectly. Service was also very good.

I love a surprise. Perhaps with the exception on a first date, or most birthday presents. In fact, I guess I don't really like them much. But this place is by the bus stop and smells of tourist trap, from the stiff waiters outfits, all the way down to the service style which is about half as old as the fort city itself. Thing is, all the food is really good. And the veg sides are the best in town. Service is trés bistro manic, and the prices high, but not enough to give pain where pleasure is deserved.

The food was delicious to say the least. The views were amazing, and the service was great! The employees were very friendly and attentive. We went for dinner the first time, and we had: - Seafood risotto for starter (delicious) - spaghetti bolognese - grilled beefsteak with grilled veggies - chef’s beefsteak with gratinated potatoes - Dubrovnik creme caramel for dessert (delicious!) Everything was so good, we went the next day and had breakfast: - ham and cheese omelette - mozzarella and tomatoes omelette - iced coffee Definitely recommend eating here if you’re not on a budget. Don’t expect low prices, as you are paying for quality food :)

We had a nice time at this restaurant. The food was a little overrated especially for the price but the views at this restaurant are amazing. I recommend eating here at night because the walls are lit up and there's a great view from any table outside. We had a variety of items from the menu and it was all ok but the beef steak I ordered was over cooked and really tough. Disappointed because it's one the most expensive items on the menu. Server was nice and helpful. Overall we enjoyed our dinner here.

We had dinner here on our recent trip to Dubrovnik. We had previously had dinners here when last time we visited so this time we booked well in advance. It’s a spectacular place to watch the sun going down over the old city walls while enjoying your dinner and drinks. Amazing customer service and I can’t recommend this place enough.

We went here for the breakfast in the morning around 9, it was not crowded and we easily got a table with sea and fort view which was amazing. Great location and great food. We loved everything here. The service was very nice, we couldn't finish the fruits so thay packed it for us nicely. It's a nice place to sit and relax and have your breakfast. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for breakfast.

Had a really lovely time here and the food was absolutely delicious! Portions are a bit on the smaller side for a big guy like my partner, but was filling enough for me. Fish was very fresh and tasty and the wine as well. Super busy, but moves very fast so you can easily find a table even as a walk in. Staff is very friendly and attentive. Prices are also very reasonable. Would highly recommend!

Lovely restaurant with great food and friendly staff. It's in the perfect location just outside of the Old Town overlooking the sea. It's always very busy here, but even if you haven't booked a table, the staff always try their best to find you a table. I had the virgin mojito to drink which was great. Then I had the Chicken Milanese for mains and it was very tasty. You also get discount on your bill if you have the Dubrovnik Pass.

Gorgeous views of the Dubrovnik old town walls. The entire setting is extremely pleasant on an outdoor terrace with the sea breeze and fans overhead for additional cooling. The food was enjoyable, we tried the Dalmatian steak which was a thin cutlet and a very strong garlic flavoring, I can still taste it the next day if you know what I mean. We also tried the fish soup which was light but pleasant and the truffle ravioli. A cherry brandy for an aperitif was fun and the local red wine carafe was admirable for the occasion. Light, fruity, and with decent acidity. Overall it was a good experience, it felt kind of touristy, but what can one expect in this city.

Perched with a stunning view of Dubrovnik's iconic city walls, this restaurant unfortunately falls short in delivering authentic and flavorful dishes. The pasta and schnitzels lacked taste and seemed to have been prepared in burnt oil, leaving much to be desired. Despite this disappointment, the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. While the breathtaking view of the city walls adds to the charm, it's important to note that this place caters more towards tourists than offering a truly authentic dining experience. If you're seeking a picturesque setting for your meal, it might be worth a visit, but for those craving genuine local cuisine, exploring other options in Dubrovnik is recommended.

What a delightful restaurant! The view is beautiful and the service is fantastic - a special thank you to Ivan K for looking after me so well. Ideal for solo travellers like myself and also for couples and families. I wad recommended a delicious wine to go with my meal and was looked after really well. The food was stunning. I have received a 10% discount card to come again so I suppose that will be the primary reason to return to Dubrovnik! Thank you for a lovely lunch. I can't wait to come again.

Told they couldn't take a reservation for the evening, so we walked in. Turned out tables for 2 (along the water), and 4 (1 row in) were all reserved, but the remainder of the expansive space was for walk-in. We were seated within 8 min around 7:15 pm on a Sunday. Couldn't see the water in the dark anyway. Beautiful site right at Pile Gate on the water, with the City Wall lit up at night. Open air, well illuminated, well-spaced place. Music was a bit loud where we sat, bc the speakers were nearby. If you care, ask for a table away from the speakers. I forgot to take photos of the rest of our meal. The vegetable soup was excellent. Since there was a lack of info on the menu, I am posting those pages instead. Hubby said the salmon (ordered rare) was the best he's ever tasted (and we cook salmon at home frequently!) My veal had a lovely red sauce, with grilled vegetables (also done well) side served on a big, separate plate. Of the 3 - 4 pieces of veal, the middle piece tasted a bit overdone, so clearly asking for medium rare would have been the right thing. The seafood pizza had a nice dough, thin in the middle, with shrimp, squid & muscles on top. The toppings were fresh and tender. Good pizza. The server took a long time to attend to our bill. Otherwise, everything was perfect, and the price was very fair, given the location (€100 for 3 including tip, a bottle of fizzy mineral water & 3 mains; no alcohol or dessert).

We (group of 4) hadn’t booked but were thankfully placed at a table without having to wait. This was around 6.30pm on Saturday evening. Walk-ins after this appeared to have a little queue time, but never that long and no one was turned away. We shared bread to start which included a lovely selection. All of our main courses were delicious, in particular the lamb. Our only concern was that the ‘main meals’ selection was quite small in variety, but noticed after we ordered that a lot of nearby tables had opted for something from the ‘starters’ list. These dishes all looked very generous to pass as a starter, so I would recommend looking at those meal options as well and simply adding a side of your choice to pass as a main. Instead of dessert we opted to have some cocktails. There was a fantastic selection on the menu and we all thoroughly loved our choices. Overall a fantastic spot for dinner with even better surrounding views! Staff were all very friendly and accommodating as well. Would highly recommend if spending the evening in Dubrovnik!

Had a lovely dinner here with my kids and parents. All the seafood dishes were excellent! I had a the seafood risotto and my husband had the seafood linguine. The views also couldn’t be beat and our waiter was kind and attentive. Go here you won’t regret it :)

Lovely food and the service was impeccable! We ordered the white house wine and it was the best decision, it tasted really good. And the waiter was so attentive that the glass was never empty. He was always around to refill it. Food was tasty.

This place is a must go! The view, ambiance & service were all beautiful. Would recommend making a reservation for dinner if you’d like to sit on the patio (you’ll need to specify if you’d like patio seating). The truffle ravioli was incredible, seafood was fresh & you can’t go wrong with the cheesecake dessert! An absolute must if you’re in Dubrovnik!

Great coffee with excellent view, nice shadow and breeze of fresh air in a super hot city. We got a glass of fresh water with ice even for a guest who didn’t order anything. Super quick service. Great place to chill before and/or after sightseeing.

This restaurant was one of the best that we have visited during our European trip. The venue, staff and food are all fantastic and there is an amazing view overlooking the old city walls. We had the Salmon and Chefs steak dish, both cooked to perfection. We went back the next day for the assorted seafood platter and pizza and again, loved it! House white and red wines are also great. We were lucky enough to get a table both times without a reservation, however in high season you should book ahead and request a table near the water for amazing views.

I admit that this place is located in the most touristic area but they got great food, friendly staff(they were kind enough to give us a fancy decanting performance when we ordered a humble regional wine 😂. We felt very well-treated and loved it so much) and wouldn’t even charge you much. On the top of that, the scenery from this place is (personally) unbeatable though the pigeons and bees can be annoying sometimes. 😂 I made my greatest memories from Dubrovnik here.

We had breakfast here around 8:15am, there was no wait. This breakfast was great, we highly recommend it when visiting Dubrovnik. The server we had was really good, he was a very attentive older gentleman, and he was definitely the best server we have had in a while. We had coffee and the sunny side up eggs with bacon, along with a croissant. They started with serving us the bread with assorted jams, butter, and honey. The bread tasted homemade, it was very good. The eggs included 3 eggs and multiple pieces of bacon. The view from our table was beautiful. We had breakfast at another place within the walls, but it didn’t compare to this one. I highly recommend visiting this restaurant.

Went here twice on my stay! Shockingly well priced considering the location and great view, especially if you’re just looking for pasta like I was. The bolognese for lunch was superb, and the seafood tagliatelle the next night was everything you could ask for. Even with house wine and bread, my meal was just around 20€! Great deal with one of the best views in the city. Highly recommend.

Had a really lovely time here and the food was absolutely delicious! We had seafood tagliatelle and risotto, also seafood salad, well made. The seafood was very fresh. However, portions are a bit on the smaller side for us. We ordered two daily cakes: chocolate&orange cake and apple pie. The location is perfect, just next to the entrance of the city wall with a great view of Adriatic Sea. Walk-in was fine at 6 pm, but if you want to sit next to the fence, you should make a reservation a week before. Super busy, but moves very fast, staff is also very friendly and attentive. Prices are fair compared to other restaurants with such a good view. Highly recommend!

I have to give a good review of this place! The staff is friendly, the food was delicious, and the quality of everything was top notch! If you come to eat here, I recommend Mario, our waiter. He had wonderful recommendations for food and took the time to explain the contents of our choices. I highly recommend this place for an afternoon meal.

We have breakfast and dinner there. We order omelette as breakfast served with bread which the portion is big and two of us shared. The coffee is delicious and you can have a really good Seaview. The staff is friendly and service is good. That's why we come back for dinner. We ordered seafood risotto and tagliatelle and mussels. They are so delicious and definitely will come back next time.

It truly is the best view with very good service and tasty selections. We had grilled squid and sea bass, well made. We had less than an hour for our bus and they were very accommodating. The location is perfect too for the entrance to the old city, the beach or the tower.

Quick and tasty breakfast with excellent service and gorgeous surroundings. We got the mozzarella and tomato & vegetable omelettes - both great. These came with bread and a selection of jams and spreads. The fresh orange juice is delicious and the coffee is very good too. I got a baileys coffee, which was perfect!

Way, it is am amazing place. Delicious food. Very fresh food. Not first time here. Tried different options (pizzas, soups, salads, pastas, risotto, coffee, fresh juices, wines) - all is excellent. Also good desserts. Very friendly waiters, always smile. The personal gives a lot of attention, can gives recommndethions. We will come again. Here you can really relax in the centre of old town of Dubrovnik. And the view of the sea is also beautiful! Very nice restaurant just outside the main walls of old town. Ate there twice. Early and late dinners. Everything was very good. The service was efficient and very friendly. The views are spectacular. There’s a sea view from the terrace. The apple pie with ice cream was amazing.

Overall: good but expensive. Total paid: 119€ We got the tomato soup, the sea bass with mushroom as a side dish, beef with mashed potatoes on the side. We also got white wine, I believe Pinot Grigio. The tomato soup was perfect. There was no need to add salt or paper for my taste. The sea bass was good but very small portion. Definitely smaller than other pictures here. The mushroom were okay. Needed more salt. Didn’t really taste special. The beef good but again nothing special. The mashed potatoes were really good. It has some cheese in it and it has the right amount of butter. The service was great. The staff was nice and always checked up on our table. The overall atmosphere for dinner was great as well.

(Vegetarian person) Located right outside of Pile gate, this restaurant offers plenty of vegetarian options! We ordered the truffle ravioli with a nice creaminess and a lot of shaved truffles to enjoy on top! The vegetable risotto was my favorite with plenty of perfectly cooked vegetables to give it a nice amount of “healthiness.” We also ordered freshly squeezed orange juice which is quite popular in the area and an iced coffee (which includes vanilla ice cream!) We ordered a cheese and olive plate for the table and the cheese was absolutely delicious!

Evan was the best ! The ambiance and food was absolutely delightful! Overlooking the sea and fortress with a sky full of stars. I got the fish soup, chardonnay and seafood platter. It was absolutely amazing 5/5 coming from a Pescatarian home chef from Toronto.

It's a nice place with a beautiful ocean view. But the price is kind of expensive...every restaurants in Dubrovnik. However, the food was good. We tried seafood risotto and grilled squid. If you like seafood, and risotto, try this out.

Location, location, location. Amazing views of the city walls. Food is just ok, at best. Salty and overcooked. Mussels were decent but not great. Chef Beefsteak was over cooked but the pepper sauce was tasty. Order the house white by the liter, it’s dry, tasty, and well priced. Service is attentive.
