    Basically it is a gym in a good location with good transport links and a good selection of equipment. Below I would like to give my summarized feedback on the Fit/One Düsseldorf; below is a somewhat more detailed review of individual positions. My review is based primarily on the impressions in the evening hours (from 6 p.m.). Pros: + very good selection of equipment, both for strength training and cardio training + Sauna area and wellness area + large selection of hammer strength devices + large changing area + lots of weights in the free weight area + good connection to public transport + Selection of various (virtual) courses Cons: - Many cardio machines not maintained - Cleanliness in the changing rooms - partly very messy - House rules exist, but are not lived - Some members are very ruthless - Some employees are only present Devices: Most of the devices are from the Hammer Strength brand, which is generally a good selection. Actually, the equipment leaves nothing to be desired and everyone should find the right machine or the right area for their training plan. Unfortunately, many devices are in poor condition. Unfortunately, 80% of the cardio machines have not been serviced for a long time. The cross trainers in particular have worn out ball bearings and make loud noises - this should definitely be improved! The upholstery of the devices has already been replaced in the last few months, so I would like to highlight this in a positive way. Order: Order is often out of place in the free weight area. House rules have recently been put up at the entrance that clearly state that you should put your weights away. This is basically a good approach! Unfortunately, this order is not lived by the employees and passed on to the members. The weights in the free weight area continue to fly everywhere and are not put away by the members. Some of them are lying next to the weight stands, some of them are still on the equipment and finally some of them are flying around somewhere else. Wellness area: The studio has several wellness options that members can use, depending on their membership. This includes the sauna, the massage tables and the solarium. Unfortunately, the sauna has been out of operation for a long time (alleged damage caused by vandalism), so it cannot currently be used (as of August 2023). Cleanliness: The cleanliness in the studio is not always as it should be. Unfortunately, the blame here largely lies not with the studio, but with the members and their behavior. In the changing rooms, no one pays attention to cleaning up their “dirt”. The same applies to the drinks stations, where the members make no effort to wipe away their mess (if something goes wrong) or generally make sure that something like this doesn't happen. This picture is not always the order of the day and it has improved over the last few months, but unfortunately it is still not optimal. You could also empty the trash cans in the changing rooms a little more often so that they aren't constantly full to the brim. Members: Some of the members in Fit/One Düsseldorf are very mixed. However, in contrast to the pre-Covid period, things have improved drastically! Employees: Basically the employees are friendly! Unfortunately, I just think it's a shame that as a member you have to greet the employees first before they would greet you. As a service provider - which is what a fitness studio is - I would support it the other way around. The employees are often more busy with themselves and their cell phones instead of maintaining order in the studio. I don't expect the employees to walk through the studio every minute, but more frequent tours (especially in the free weight area) wouldn't hurt.

    DO NOT SIGN A CONTRACT WITH THEM!! CANCELLATION PROBLEM AND POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. They will do/claim anything not to cancel your contract. We are having the same problem as reported by another person here. We canceled our contract because we were moving out of the country. My husband went in person to the gym (in January) to handle the cancelation request letter, they signed it acknowledging they received it. A few weeks letter they said we had not canceled so we provided them with the copy of the cancelation letter signed by them. So our contract was supposed to end in April (3 month cancelation period) and to our surprise in June they charged our account for the month of May and June. When we tried to get in contact with them they said they extended their cancelation period because of Corona and that we have to pay. This is not fair because (1) we canceled before Corona and (2) we don't live in Germany anymore. So this week they sent us another bill and through e-mail said they are entitled to receive payment for the whole year. They are horrible with costumer service, they take long to answer email's and you can never reach them by phone. So to anyone thinking about joining them. Please think twice. You will have problems when you need to cancel your contract. STAY AWAY FROM THIS GYM!

    You can make a membership very easy, but you won’t be able to cancel … they would do every trick legal or illegal to prolong your end date for additional months .. I went through the cancellation experience twice, both times it was horrible, starting by not acknowledging the cancellation request and prolonging for additional year. Then the 2nd time during Corona ,after setting the end of contract date they prolonged 3 months just because they closed 3 months and even the money they charged during those 3 months they added as a credit to buy any thing from they gym and refused to return the money. I’m glad that it’s ended now, despite the losses I had.

    DO NOT SIGN A CONTRACT WITH THEM! ESPECIALLY GOLD VIP or any other SCAM package. just if you want to pay 2 years even if you don't use their services at all. 6 months I tried to get in contact with the 'famous' personal trainer. They have provided me excuses for 6 months until I renounce asking. then I tried to cancel the subscription as I had to move out of Dusseldorf, but guess what! that doesn't work as well. They'll do everything to avoid that until you have to leave. Now they have hired a firm to get back their money. But god forbid you are late one month - they are not letting you in and also apply fees for you being late. I am surprised this even exists in a country like Germany. Hallucinating experience! Bully company!

    Avoid at all cost! This Gym is a scam, memberships are extended without permission, cancellations are ignored. With Corona it got worse! And if you talk with the local personnel, they say they are not responsible for membership questions, it has to be online. And if you go online (Mitgliedsportal or App), they removed the contact form! With telephone it always say it is busy, also impossible... Hard to believe stuff like this still happens! It doesn't matter if you live close, don't try to convince yourself it is a good idea to join. I regret joining, never been so disrespected by a gym!

    The gym is located not far from the center of Düsseldorf, easily reachable by public transport. It has a wide variety of fitness equipment on 2 levels and a room for the classes. Also a sauna, solarium and a massage room. They have different subscription options. The changing room is wide, and there are enough lockers. Like any gym, it has its peak times, so sometimes it gets very busy ( after work)

    Staff DO NOT CARE about basic politeness: no "hello" or "goodbye", and when they're crossing a narrow alley in front of the customer, you must let them pass because they won't let you, and certainly won't thank you for it. Also they DO NOT CARE about respecting Covid prevention measures, they do not bother enforcing the simple Covid safety measures when many customers aren't respecting distances... and the staff themselves do not wear a mask (or only below the chin)! And when I say "the staff" I do mean the large majority of them!

    Everything is great until you need to cancel. When you try to cancel it is a complete disaster. Before leaving the country I tried to cancel the contract and have not succeeded, as you need to do that only when it is not less than 3 months until the end of the contract. So I have paused it and left the country. After some time payments were resumed automatically. When I have returned to Germany to take care of some paperwork, tried to cancel again, this time I was requested to provide the abmeldung, although I own an apartment so it makes no sense to do that for me. All my letters are still being sent there. So I have provided them with my passport, copy of the tickets and all the possible proofs I had in order to get this cancelled due to the relocation and this time believing it was taken care of. I had no idea how wrong I was. After some more time I have received an email from this unfortunate company to provide them with more proofs, like the new “anmeldung”. I have explained that in Ukraine there is no such thing. And “anmeldung” is done in a form of a stamp in a passport. They have not accepted that. Considering I was not even in the country (at that point I was already willing to do anything to get this resolved, even the “anmeldung” from my own apartment) I have tried to explain that I can not go to Germany just to provide them with the necessary documents and it makes no sense as they need to understand that different countries have different ways of registration, so providing them with the requested document is not possible as the country is different. Nobody cared. The bottom line was that it was about 1 month before the end of my another yearly contract, so I have said that I will pay them 1 more month as they want and get done with it. So I have requested them to confirm the termination in the end of the contract, since I have provided them with my request as they wanted 3 months in advance. Nobody got back to me after I have requested to confirm that. Do you think it is the end of the story? No, not at all. About 1 year later, they have decided to send me a bill (to my email) that I need to pay 111€, with no explanation of this amount, in 7 days. All this shows how they treat their customers, so I will make sure all my friends and relatives in Germany would think twice before signing up with them. The same thing I advise to anybody who will read this.

    Do not enroll to this Studio!!! Do not sign a contract with them!! Even after cancelling the contract they still collect money from their customers. There’s no support and the e-mail/phone contact does not work. They have also extended my contract unilaterally without informing me.

    THEY WILL NEVER PROVIDE A PERSONAL TRAINER, BUT THEY WILL CHARGE YOU FOR IT. You will never be able to cancel the contract even if they don't respect it - and then they will hire a company to recuperate the money from you - company that doesn't care if the contract was respected or not- they just want to get the money. SCAM !

    The gym is relatively good equipped. Especially the multi-racks with bumper plates let this studio stand out from its competitors in the same price segment. Weight dropping is allowed. You have extras like sauna, solarium and a course program. Nevertheless has it the same downsides as most of these kind of gyms. The course program is partly virtual. The showers are a constant issue as well as the rest rooms. Broken equipment doesn't always gets fixed or only with a high delay. The solarium is broken for the second time now and it doesn't seem to happen soonish.(for 1 month now) But cheap prices are attractive to not only people with good manners...

    1. Extremely crowded 2. All the lockers are always full, never the less just 50% of the lockers work. The rest are not functional and not 👎 maintained regularly. 3. The bathroom and changing rooms are not maintained well and stink. 4. Sonderkündigung is just a lie. One ☝️ can never come out of an contract even though you change the state, country or even have a major injury.

    I really liked the place and the equipments! However, after the pandemic everytime I go I'm scared since people are packed in the locker room and no one seems to care about safety distance. Mouth masks are apparently not required and clearly preventing the spreading of the virus is not a priority for FIT/ONE.

    Terrible service, everyone tells you something different and instead of an apology they get upset. Actually, I always had a bad experience, right from the beginning. The people there change so often that you don't even talk to the same person, and everyone tells you something different (or forgets to tell you something). I have to find another fitness, even though I liked the studio lessons here. I will probably give a try to Energym that is near by and has a better review. Ahh, and not to forget : the people are so rude! The trainer told me that I should listen what she is saying 😀 that she is right and people at reception not basically... 🤷‍♀️ And also, as someone already said below - I was promised to have a first viewing with a trainer who never appeared (that is why I fortunately did not decide for VIP)

    Being in a high risk group and not able to visit the gym. FitOne has it own silly rules and laws which does not allow you to quit your contract. Just be careful when you are singing the contract, there is almost no way to quit! Update: The FitOne reply does no make any differences. If FitOne continues this kind of behavior they close one day. You Just need to read the top reviews and you will see where is the issue. UpdateII: They barely communicate with you, after several months I am still waiting for the confirmation of the cancellation of my contract.

The changing room is spacious, but smells unpleasantly musty whenever I'm there (1-3 times per week). The care and maintenance of individual elements (faucet sprays. Paper towels empty, drinks compartments/shelves of the gym equipment dirty/permanently dirty (for months), battery indicator: battery empty, floor unclean (the same protection in the same place for 5 days?), the drinks bar I've had the same dirt on the device/display and surfaces for 5 days...I think recommending and extending the contract is out of the question for me if nothing can be remedied. Because in principle I'm happy to come. With the amount of staff on site, hygiene and care shouldn't be a problem...At CosmoSport, the employees take care of you responsibly.

Dieses Studio hat absolut nicht gutes an sich, abgesehen von den Geräten. Wenn sie dann mal funktionieren. Die Kommunikation mit fit one war schon immer, naja nennen wir es mal vorsichtig, Verbesserungswürdig. Jedoch übersieht man gerne bei so einem günstigen Beitrag all dies. Hauptsache Training, ohne jegliche Kopfschmerzen. Dieser Gedanke verpufft bei jedem kleinen Problem, die mit Kommunikation im Studio oder mit der Geschäftsstelle zu tun hat. Fangen wir jedoch erst ein mal an mit den Toiletten. Die Sauberkeit der Toiletten im Studio sind vergleichbar mit einem dixi Klo. Wobei Zweiteres wohl möglich sauberer ist. Die Toiletten sind oft verstopf, der Mülleimer ist meistens kurz vorm platzen und von den pissoirs fange ich lieber gar nicht erst nicht. Ach ja, Seife solltet ihr nicht nur morgens auffüllen. Gehen wir weiter zur Kommunikation. Ein gutes Kundenverhältnis sollte eigentlich das wichtigste in einem Studio sein, jedoch habe ich in 4 Jahren Mitgliedschaft dies nie erlebt. Wenn man mal sein Handtuch vergisst, wird 2€ kassiert. Band vergessen, zur Kasse gebeten. Wie der Rest aussieht kann sich ja jeder selbst Ausmahlen. Jetzt kommen wir zum Hauptgrund, wieso ich jeden abraten würde, sich hier anzumelden. Jetzt kommt die dreisteste Aktion die ich je erlebt habe. Im ersten Lockdown gab es die Möglichkeit, den Beitrag ausfallen zu lassen. So weit so gut. Eine gute Möglichkeit zu sparen, in dieser harten Zeit. Jetzt ist der zweite Lockdown und fit one bietet diese Möglichkeit nicht erneut an. Komisch oder? Der Dauerauftrag wurde daraufhin selbstverständlich gelöscht. Ein paar Tage später kommt dann die erste Mahnung reingeflogen. Rechtlich absolut nichtig. Mahngebühren werden erhoben, die viel zu hoch sind, obwohl bei der ersten Mahnung nicht ein mal Gebühren rechtens sind. Daraufhin habe ich versucht Kontrakte mit Fit One aufzunehmen, vergeblich. Anstatt eine Antwort zu bekommen, habe ich eine zweite Mahnung bekommen, Inder mir mit einem Inkasso Unternehmer gedroht wird. Seltsam oder? Fürs Geldeintreiben ist Zeit, jedoch für eine Antwort nicht. Daraufhin kam selbstverständlich eine Antwort meinerseits, jedoch ohne Antwort bis heute. Überlegt euch das mal, ihr seit selber in Problem und euer Studio, wo ihr schon 4 Jahre seit, hätzt euch ein Inkasso Unternehmen auf euch. Zu Unrech!! Weder rechtlich noch menschlich nachvollziehbar!!! Ich bin einfach fassungslos. Ich frage mich immer noch, wie man ein grundsätzlich gutes Studio, mit guten Geräten und einem top Standort so ruinieren kann. Falls mich mal jemand nach einem guten Studio fragt, kann ich ihm auf jeden Fall ein schlechtes nennen kann. Ich freue mich schon auf den Austritt bei fit one und auf ein hoffentlich besseres Studio. Wobei, das wird eh nicht schwer sein.

    Studio is basic, but considering the price it's what you might expect. - One star because I canceled my membership 1,5 years ago. They confirmed end date Dec21. Then it got moved to May22. (even though there is a monthly cancelation option now in Germany). Oh, and I still have 80 EUR in Credit with them. Super bad experiance.

    Das Trainieren, sofern das Studio offen ist, ist ok. Aber alles was mit Verwaltungstätigkeiten zu tun hat, ist aus meiner Erfahrung einfach schlecht geregelt und geht zu Lasten der Kunden. Dazu gehören insbesondere: ordentliche und außerordentliche Kündigungen, die Kommunikation mit Studiomitgliedern, Beitragszahlungen und der Datenschutz. Ich hatte zum Ende 2020 meinen Vertrag rechtzeitig gekündigt. Mir wurde diese Kündigung sogar bestätigt. 1. Jedoch hat das Studio einseitig den Vertrag ohne Information um die ausgefallene Zeit verlängert. 2. Zudem wurde der Mitgliedsbeitrag während der Lockdowns (auch ohne Kommunikation) weiter eingezogen. So wird bei mir auch für die Monate Januar und Februar 2021 der Beitrag eingezogen, obwohl ich seit Ende Dezember eigentlich nicht mehr Mitglied bin. Ich habe Fit One keine Einzugsermächtigung von meinem Konto über die Vertragslaufzeit hinaus erlaubt. Daher bleibt nur die Möglichkeit den Einzug von meiner Seite zu stornieren. 3. Zudem erreicht man niemanden bei dem Unternehmen oder Studio. Mehrere Anrufe und Mails gehen ohne Rückmeldung ins leere. Extrem bitter ist es, da man sich schon kompromissbereit gezeigt hat, auch in beiden Lockdown-Zeiten den Beitrag weiterhin zu zahlen. Das nun aber auch NACH der Vertragslaufzeit der Beitrag eingezogen wird, ist einfach frech. AUSSERDEM beziehen viele Fitnessstudios staatliche Subventionen und Kurzarbeitergeld. Ich kann das Studio und das Unternehmen NICHT empfehlen.

Was bedeutet dass man auf jeden Fall 3 Monate lang Beiträge zahlt, ohne dabei das Angebot nutzen zu können (zusätzlich ist es gar nicht so leicht einen Termin während der Coronazeit zu bekommen. Ein unterschriebener Mietvertrag wurde auf Seiten von FitOne nicht akzeptiert). Des Weiteren wird immer auf die AGB verwiesen, aber selber eingehalten werden diese auch nicht (Kündigung per Mail zum Beispiel nicht möglich). Und selbst wenn etwas in den AGB drin steht, bedeutet dies nicht, dass es auch rechtskräftig ist. Nun hatte ich letzte Woche endlich meinen Termin beim Einwohnermeldeamt in meiner neuen Stadt und habe die Anmeldebescheinigung an FitOne weitergeleitet. Zur Information, mein neuer Wohnsitz ist knapp 34km mit dem Auto von FitOne entfernt. Als Antwort von FitOne kam dann, dass mein Wohnsitz 29km Luftlinie entfernt sei und ich jetzt doch bitte den FitOne nutzen könnte (er ist ja direkt um die Ecke). Erst ab 30km ist laut AGB eine Kündigung wegen Umzug rechtens. Es ist einfach eine Unverschämtheit wie hier mit Kunden umgegangen wird.     It seems companies found a way to remove all honest but 1 star or negative reviews and FitOne is desperately doing it. As a person who lost lot of money on signing the contract with them. I need to again and again submit the honest review as a citizen of city of Düsseldorf to make sure my fellow citizens are aware of their business. Please do not trust the enormous amount of positive reviews.

    I was there for a trial training session and was able to complete a trial session without an appointment without any problems. I was welcomed very warmly and even though there was a lot going on, they took the time to show me the studio and answer my questions. The team also gave great tips on execution during training. Cleanliness in the studio is top and the atmosphere here is great.
