Very disappointing service. Sure they have one charging point service for electric cars but when it was occupied all weekend and we could not return home the the Netherlands we received no help or sympathy whatsoever. We were not allowed to use the outdoor 220v charging point. Will never return here. So much for their central value: “our yes I can” service-philosophy. 🤦🏽‍♀️ my advise: practice what you preach!

great location! near to the Rhine; all walkable and public transportation. The hotel needs a few makeovers. Pool is super (not heated); all people are friendly and attentive. (English is not the best) I stayed 3 nights and recommended this hotel.

We stayed here for one night as it was just around the corner from the venue for the party that we were going to. The location is great; it is approximately 10 minutes walk through a large park to the Rhine, along which you can run, walk and cycle (there were even people roller-blading), and there is a tram stop a couple of minutes walk away. The hotel car park is located just to the left of the hotel as you look at the entrance, with open and covered areas. There is a height restriction on the "underground" covered area but a Nissan Qashqai easily fits into this area. The welcome and check-out experience was friendly and efficient.

Weekend trip to Dusseldorf, unfortunately to go to an event that was cancelled while we were attending. That said, it meant that we were able to make it more of a holiday. The hotel is good, with big rooms and plenty of space, but the shower could use a change. The door has a significant gap at the bottom and no matter what we tried, it lead to a large amount of water on the floor of the rest of the bathroom. We resorted to using spare towels to mop it up. That said, the rooms were very comfortable otherwise. Breakfast is a little steep at €30 pp but it is quite a spread and does have white wine on offer as well as a live cooking station for eggs. Lots of hot food options, including Chinese congee, cold meats, including a smoked salmon, fruits, yoghurts and pastries round out the rest of the offerings. Dinner was great and just €25pp including a local beer. Mushroom risotto with added chicken was well made and I enjoyed it. The place is close to both the airport and the city centre, we were able to walk to the old town along the river, and the tram is right outside the hotel should you need to use it. The airport was roughly a €15-20 taxi ride.

Stayed here during a business trip and enjoyed the stay there. It is a typical business hotel where meetings and conference can be organized. The buffet lunch was good with lot of options. Parking is available at a reasonable price of 20 euros a day. Location is good and close to the big park and river.

I did not imagine that this would happen in a respectable hotel as this waiter in the breakfast restaurant was a very racist person and called us Arabs who eat a lot while we are Arab Muslims and our religion ensures that we do not overeat and respect everyone and mind we are 7 family members…Unfortunately, he was very rude and disrespectful as he told us to sit in only one table, and that isn’t possible cause all the tables had either 5 or 4 chairs and I think we pay for what we want to eat and it’s not for free so he has no right to say this to us. I hope the hotel management will not allow such a person to discredit the hotel.

This hotel is one of my favourites with its fantastic location along the Rhein river for a run in the morning or a nice stroll into the city centre. But most of all I look forward to the best breakfast omelette I've ever had anywhere. Whenever you stay here, make sure to say hi to "Baba" behind the kitchen counter. He'll cook you a breakfast that is out of this world🙏❤️.

The Radisson Blu was a really nice hotel. With very friendly staff who couldn't do enough for customers. The room we had was large and spacious the only small let down might be the lack of English channels on the TV which is normally overlooked by having a good selection of music 🎵🎶 channel's but this had one of those. The Bar was really good and service was prompt and the staff were very friendly. The breakfast room was very nice and the selection of breakfast items were wide and varied with a chef on service preparing fresh eggs, omelette and eggs to order.

After few years back and it remains very good. Some trouble with lifts and overload of people but all in all very good.. Breakfast one of the Best around but come early.. this morning not even bread available, shame they don't refeel it once required, staff at breakfast few of them very helpful others just neglecting any Customer requests..

Goos place however rooms need to be improved Improvements are already happening, and knocking noise and repair work that starts at 8:30AM is a bit disappointing experience we have pleasure to share with other guests. Rather than this - friendly stuff, good leasure facilities and very cosy launch.

Very disappointed! I was in room 219 for 5 nights. The room was OK. Clean and well taken care off. The problem was the noise. Very noisy! Until 1am and starting again at 6am, I could hear the elevator constantly going up and down and its doors opening. It was really difficult to sleep. In any case, the most disappointing part was not this. The most disappointing part was the lack of gluten-free options and the lack of respect from one of the waiters in the bar. I cannot understand this from a hotel of this level. And even more when paying +400€/night to stay. Before my arrival, I contacted them asking for the gluten-free options for breakfast. I was told there was a buffet. Due to high risk of cross-contamination, I asked if it was possible that the buffet service team would take a separate plate directly from the kitchen for me. I was not asking for anything special. Just the same they had in the buffet, but directly from the kitchen to avoid the cross-contamination potentially caused by other guests while serving themselves. Their answer was as follows: “this is really difficult and I regret to inform you that we cannot offer this service. You have to serve yourself from the buffet or the alternative is to order breakfast via our room service.” When I checked the room service options with the receptionist, I could only eat one option that was not suitable for breakfast… In addition, the first day, I asked in the bar if they had a gluten-free beer. I received a scoffing answer while saying “we only have normal beer”. Not even looking at me when answering. Definitely, not the experience I expected from a hotel of this chain.

The service, the food in the restaurant, and the bar service is excellent. The rooms need an upgrad; they do not match the hotel's service.

Definitely a conference hotel and nothing more. Staff are helpful and friendly. Hotel bar can’t make any drinks right other than beer. Room carpets are dirty, toilet vanity top looks like it’s falling off, dated and impractical room design, pillows felt like cotton wool packs, mattress was springy and moves violently with every tiny movement (not pocketed spring). Wouldn’t stay there if not for business event.

The receptionists are always very lovely and happy to help. The hotel has nice modern furnishing. Everything was clean and fresh. There was complimentary water in the minibar. We didn´t go to the breakfast as there are local bakeries everywhere and we have more than enough intercontinental breakfasts. There were two small things we didn´t like. First, the double bed was two single beds on wheels that were pushed together so it kept moving during the night. Second is the bathroom "door". It looks nice but it doesn´t serve the purpose of providing privacy while one or the other is using the toilet.

Hotel Rooms very nice, bar service absolutely abysmal. Have stayed here before and the bar and restaurant service was very poor, I thought it may have improved, how wrong I was. Waiting 45 minutes to get served in anybodies book is poor.

Big hotel, about 400 rooms. Not a personal place. Rooms are clean and spacious. Small pool with a sauna. The breakfast is excellent. Only 20 minutes walk to the old centre. Or take the tram just in front of the hotel. For dinner; the restaurant is average. Go to Vapiano or ASH (American steakhouse). Really close by and better food.

Parking: 24€/Day Breakfast: 28€/pp Over all stay was good. But the property is getting older and furnishings becoming a bit over used. Hotel needs a professional Barkeeper who knows how to shake a few cocktails to keep the atmosphere going. Swimming Pool area was very clean, for which I give 5 stars.

Stayed here for few nights. Nice room with park view (including river). There is a restaurant downstairs. Kids friendly place. Can get a cot easily and there is a swimming pool. A lot of restaurants to eat nearby.

Rooms have nice interior. Bed, pillows and blanket are great. There are some noticeable degradation to walls, but that is trivia that can be fixed easily. However shower cabin is with odd design and bathroom floor is cold. Also the walls are either thin or from strange material, since you can hear a person in next room in shower or toilet, as if he/she is in your wardrobe. The reception staff is very polite and helpful, but cleaning staff is ... well, not so bright.

Bad service and a lot of insects in the room and one of the men working in the Breakfast’s section was racist because i was an arab man and when i entered the room there was broken glass on the floor I thought it was a good hotel but i am really disappointed.

This was a disappointing Radisson experience due mainly to poor room design. The service was good as usual and the breakfast was definitely one of the best that I have experienced in a hotel in Germany, but the bathroom in the hotel room was terrible. Starting with the good points, genuinely, the breakfast and omelet station is genuinely fantastic. There are a lot of options and all are well-produced and enjoyable to eat. Breakfast was truly the highlight of the stay. I stayed here for a conference and, though I am not certain if they were hotel staff or externals, the waiting staff for the dinner event in the evening were fun and joyous and gave excellent table service on top of that. Generally, the hotel is quite well located with an easy tram ride to places you would need to be to have a good time and sight see. Unfortunately, I was given a room in the newest wing of the hotel. After walking down a corridor past the main elevator and the breakfast restaurant, you go through two heavy fire doors and enter an isolated lift. Once you get to your room, everything looks fine but you may notice that the fan in the bathroom is constantly running - this is because of the pictured issues. In trying to create a styling bathroom, they failed to have a door or lip to prevent the water from spreading onto the floor and onto the carpet, thus ventilation is constantly needed. Exacerbating this problem, is the smell that comes from the bathroom if you leave the door shut overnight (so that you don't have to put up with the droning noise of the extractor fan in the bathroom). It smells like the plumbing was poorly done and you get a strong 'dirty water' smell in the bathroom. I was not the only person who experienced this and all people I spoke to who stayed in this part of the hotel spoke to the same issues. Potentially related, the towels were also not soft and had a peculiar smell or texture to them as if left damp for too long before drying or washed in hard water. These points strongly negatively affected the whole stay and seems a massive oversight that the hotel must address before the constant wetting of the carpet by the doorway over the years leads to mold problems. If you book in this hotel, ensure that you are not in this new wing!

Stayed for a conference at the messa centre. Its within walking distance with a taxi rank that always has taxis available. Theres a supermarket and a few resteraunts nearby. Clean rooms and a great buffet breakfast. The bar downstairs is good for a few after conference beers.

The room is pretty good, although it's silly that you can't close and/or lock the bathroom. This is a BIG minus. Because of this I rate the room 2 stars instead of 4. People need their privacy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I will never come here again because of the open bathroom. Checkin took half an hour, waiting in the cold outside with -1°. This is very VERY bad. This is why I give the service 1*. I wish I could give negative stars because of this. It is such a shame because breakfast and overal ambiance and service was fine.

Hotel and especially service was great. Nice rooms, clean and spacious. Breakfast was good, bar and staff great and gym/pool/sauna were fantastic. Special kudos to Mariella at the front reception desk. She is the kind of person I would want on my teams, exemplifies “customer service”. If I could give her a service award I would, she consistently went out of her way for me and some colleagues. Great stay and look forward to the next.

A big 5 star goes to the guy whom makes the omelettes here. He blends stuff like an artist, all else comes secondary. Pool is rather small but ok, sauna is also nice.

Beautiful ambiance, great service and breakfast was wonderful. And the spa en gym gave it an overall completion. I recommend. I was 5 minutes late for breakfast and I was still allowed to take this tray up to my room.

Business hotel , nice clean rooms . In the garment district. Unfortunately area is quiet with little around. Easily accessible to town and airport via the trams. Only one food outlet in the hotel so you will be of want if you stay more than a night.

it is has nice facilities but they obviously couldn't adapt to the pandemic situation. you have to wait for the elevator for 10-15 mins, the stairs not available (or maybe not easily discoverable?); there was a gentleman in the breakfast checking for vaccination record even though the papers are checked in the hotel checkin. Nevertheless, all employees without exception were wearing a mask and mostly helpful.

Stayed here for Dokomi. Staff were excellent - right next to the U-Bahn to both Hauptbahnhof and Dusseldorf Messe - staff were friendly, amenities great, and the hotel was very nice. Would stay here again.

Great staff , good facilities, great location , nice atmosphere. I found the rooms spacious, clean and tidy- I also liked the pool and sauna. They have a nice stand in front of reception with complimentary water and snacks, which is nice. I will stay again when I go back.

I have stayed here probably dozen times. And always had fantastic experience. I come to Dusseldorf to see my son for the weekends. He loves it too. The staff and service is 6 starts! Whenever they have space they always check me in early or check me out late which gives me more time to spend with my son. Place is very clean, very good value for money, breakfast and bar have more then enough to be satisfied. I'll be soon moving away from Germany, but I wish all hotels in the world had this level of service, my life would be much easier 😁
