    Great ritz, the service team from valets to front desk and house keeping was great, always felt welcomed by them and they were happy to assist with anything. There’s water bottles and apples at the front door and by the front desk which is a nice touch. The room was clean, large, well designed and comfortable. Bedding was smooth and soft, bathroom was clean, the shower was large and the water pressure was awesome. Great location right in downtown Cleveland as well.

    First of all every employee we came in contact with was wonderful from front desk, bellman, waitress/waiter and room service. The room was just ok one of the beds was not made properly we had to tuck the sheets properly. The room smelled like food when we checked in and the shower had discolored grout and the drain looked dirty. I frequent Ritz-Carlton and have high expectations - they were not met this time.

    This Ritz Carlton is a disgrace. As someone who has Ritz Carlton Club level experience, the Cleveland Ritz is no different than most downtown Cleveland hotels. I’m so thoroughly disappointed in my experience and was so looking forward to a wonderful Ritz stay. Sweet Dani, the ONLY concierge I saw in the Club “lounge” was the only thing worthwhile about my stay. I feel so disappointed and ripped off. I understand that Madonna and her crew were here the same night, and I completely understand the focus on her- I’m fine with that. I should not, however, be charged the same fee for a shoddy, less-than (the Ritz norm) experience. This was truly poor form.

    This Ritz experience was awesome as well, just as the normal Ritz experience you would expect. Room - It was cozy, comfortable, and quiet, with luxurious decoration. Service - From the valet parking team to the front desk associates, they are all true professionals, working with courtesy, smiling face, and passion. Parking - Valet parking service was reliable and convenient. Nearby facility - it was adjacent to the shopping mall and a few minutes walk away from the Rocket Mortgage Field House. Overall, I would recommend this Ritz.

    Took our first family vacation with our 1 year old, and were a bit skeptical to say the least traveling with a baby. We were so fortunate to have stayed at the Ritz downtown as not only did they make us feel like royalty, but also were abundantly attentive to our baby girl! The service was above and beyond, and the meticulous attention to detail throughout was lovely. The room was clean and luxurious, gym was huge and well equipped, sauna was perfect for relaxing, and the overall experience far exceeded expectations! Special shout out in particular to Bernadette, Dani, Mary, and Julie for making this a memorable trip!

    This was not my first Ritz Carlton stay. Cleveland does well keeping the property very well maintained and spit polished. Valet was courteous & helpful upon arrival and at departure, taking care of my bags in/out of my car. Melinda R. went above and beyond to accommodate special requests prior to check-in & upon arrival. Fresh flowers in the foyer. Our room was spotless & did not disappoint. I was surprised there was no fridge or microwave but that’s not a total deal breaker. Rooms are rich with amenities & creature comforts otherwise. Showers are fantastic. Lots of fluffy towels and comfortable beds. I loved the automatic black out drapes. Reading lamps and USB built into bed frames were nice. Rooms service was lovely, and one of my favorite parts. I thoroughly enjoy room service!! Two flat screen tv’s and a very nicely appointed “living room” with an espresso maker. Two bathrooms in my room, which was really nice! I like the privacy wall switch. Everything was meticulously clean & obviously well managed. Staff is exceedingly professional and made us feel welcomed & appreciated. I would return to this location for sure. We had a very comfortable stay!! Highly recommended!!

    Hands down the best experience. We stayed while celebrating our 13 year anniversary and the staff went above and beyond to make it perfect. Our room was upgraded to a suite with a bottle of champagne waiting on ice. We ate dinner and breakfast at Turn, everything we had was amazing. I will be recommending the Ritz Cleveland to everyone, this is now our anniversary tradition.

    We photographed a wedding at the Ritz-Carlton over the weekend, and it was hands down our best hotel wedding experience. Our couple clearly loved working with them to create their dream wedding. The rooms were clean and spacious, an overall beautiful space. However, what really stood out was the staff. From the moment you walk in, to the dinner service, their entire staff was welcoming, courteous, and did their jobs so well! They seemed happy to be there, and were super respectful to everyone including us as vendors. A+ team!

    Nice hotel, very clean rooms and food/drinks were good. The service was good….not AS good as other Ritz Carlton’s we’ve stayed out (don’t help with bags, etc) but definitely would stay here again if in Cleveland.

    Check in/concierge staff were very nice. Rooms were good, plenty of towels. Of course, since it is the Ritz, prices are very steep. Love the free water bottles, don't love the mini bar being touch sensitive for a $16 bag of 10 pretzels.

    Service great, as always. Love the restaurant. Must try the sausage stuffed peppers. It seems to be a Cleveland thing. Almost every restaurant in town has them, but the ones at the Ritz-Carlton are my favorite. I only gave the room 4 stars because we had a two room suite, and our teenage son slept on the pull out sofa, and he said the mattress was terrible. He said he could feel every single spring, very uncomfortable. So, the second night, he opted to just sleep on the couch, as is.

    The night bar service was extremely awefull took forever to receive service, failed to input half of my order and very unhappy. PLAIN BLACK BREWED COFFEE IS $7. COFFEE OS FREE AT ALL OTHER HOTELS. Valet is fantastic and front desk is eager to please, rooms are nice and clean had no issues with anything in the room except for the completely packed fridge leaving no room. For left overs.

    Room was ok nothing fantastic. Especially for the price point. The food was beyond disappointing. The Vietnamese meatballs was some smashed up meat that looked at tasted like dog food. Normally when the bartender picks up the dish and only a few bites where taken. “Anything wrong?” Then the tiramisu was recommended. It came out in a bowl and was a hodgepodge of chocolate and what not. The wait staff was rude and. We had lunch and then came back later. Complete joke!

    It's been a disappointing hour at the Ritz-Carlton. It's not in our means to stay at a place like this routinely so my wife and I sacrificed the bulk of our credit card points for a stay downtown to celebrate our anniversary. First night without our child and we were hoping for a special experience. I called a month prior to request a high floor that overlooked the river, and a mini fridge. The gentleman who took our call was very kind and helpful and noted our requests but we got none of them. We were told at check-in "the technical team" would be by to bring the fridge. After wasting an hour expecting an interruption I called to check on the status and was told for the first time it cost $40 to get it delivered. Maybe my expectations are too high or hospitality isn't what it once was but I expected a little more accommodation from this hotel given the price point. My wife, getting a kick out of me "Karening it up", also wants me to point out 3 light bulbs are out in the room. And while I'm at it I think The Ritz-Carlton charging $15 for internet and $16 for what seems to roughly be 8 chocolate pretzels (I'm not gonna open it) is pretty tacky. But again, maybe I've just become an out of touch grump. 2 stars because the room is nice and everyone has been polite. But all in all not worth the cost! - Salty Grump

    My room was on the 14th floor the lobby is on the 6th floor then you switch elevators from there to go up to your room on the higher floors. The rooms are fairly immaculate imo. My friend had his casino host comp us our rooms, but said they would have been $800/night. I had a great view out of my window. The beds and pillows are extremely comfy. The hotel was also connected to Tower City, and you can also make your way to The Jack casino from the hotel without ever going outside. I couldn't have asked for any better service! Every service person you ran into would always greet you with a smile and ask if you needed anything at all, no matter where you were. They have breakfast in the morning from 7:00 to I believe 10 a.m. you can go down to the lobby and eat or you can have it delivered to your room they told us, and it is à la carte. Valet will help you get your bags in and out of your car so make sure you give them a tip, and be sure to call down to the valet desk ahead of time to get your car, so they will have it ready by the time you arrive. All-in-all my stay was terrific and I highly recommended The Ritz if you want to stay in downtown Cleveland close to everything within an upscale environment!

    Look no further if you're staying in Cleveland. I've stayed here a number of times, and they always treat us like gold. The rooms, staff and overall level of service are all fantastic, just as you'd expect from the Ritz. They have consistently gone above and beyond and you can tell everyone there genuinely cares about each of their guests.

    We had the opportunity to spend a night to celebrate our anniversary and it was wonderful. Valet to check-in, in-room dining, rooms, beds, bathroom, etc. were all very well done. However, the real surprise came when hostess Denita surprised us with a wonderful gift in our room. She is an amazing employee and the Ritz-Carlton should use Denita as an example of how to deliver exemplary service to the guests. Thank you, Denita, Ritz-Carlton and team for a wonderful weekend getaway!

    Despite a last minute booking and a very busy week at the Ritz, the staff was accommodating and also upgraded my room. Everyone took good care of me and the location was in close proximity to everything. I enjoyed my stay and the staff was gracious.

    Great place in Cleveland, and walking distance to everything. One of the benefits is that you can walk inside over to Morton’s,’or you can walk inside to the casino all without leaving the building. To my knowledge there’s only valet parking, but the staff are friendly. Upon entering and going up to the reception area, you are greeted by a great staff. The gym is large with a separate weight room, as well it’s equipped with 2 peloton bikes, and rowers as well. The rooms are roomy and spacious what you expect from the ritz. Highly recommended if in the Cleveland area.

    We stopped at the Ritz driving through on a road trip back home because my wife had COVID. We booked the ritz because of all our wonderful past experiences at other properties. We were not disappointed either. Wonderful in room dining, clean/comfortable room. The staff was so kind as my wife was really not feeling great. No extra charge for having COVID but let them know prior to you arrival so they are aware. Thank you Ritz Cleveland for a great nice of rest for my wife and I.

    We came for a conference and the food provided for all of our events was delicious. Beautiful room as well, with a nespresso coffee machine and amazing pillows. Yolanda the room attendant was very sweet, friendly, and helpful.

    Staff are very courteous and friendly. Rooms are beautiful, comfortable and super clean. We had a very relaxing stay and will definitely stay if ever in the area again.

    Very nice hotel rooms have a fair bit of space very large shower hotel was extremely clean staff was extremely friendly and helpful Valet service was extremely fast and friendly as well. The Ritz Cleveland is always our first choice when we are in the Cleveland area would highly recommend thank you Ritz Cleveland for a great stay.

    Rooms were wonderful as expected. Location is sketchy, especially the proximity to the casino. The attached mall is all but closed which reflects poorly on the hotel.

    Want to overpay for a terrible night's sleep? Stay here. My second stay in two weeks. First night, I shared a wall with a room full of people who partied until 2 am. Tonight, my room is apparently close to a wedding reception. And I have a non-refundable reservation for Oct 15-17. Yay...can't wait!

    My husband and I decided to stay here at the last minute on our way home from a vacation. Our room was beautiful, spacious, and very well maintained. The hotel is beautiful and in a great location. We did not hear any of the people around us, the water was hot, and the amenities were great. We love staying at The Ritz-Carlton's and will definitely be returning in the near future. The only thing is the service was not 5 stars, the valet kind of just looked at us when we arrived thinking we were just young people stopping by, he then came out and was like "are you staying at the Ritz?" that kind of made us feel a little un-welcome. Overall, we liked the hotel itself.

    We had our son's wedding at the Ritz on 12/10/2022 and it was outstanding. Everything was perfect. They went above and beyond on everything. We could not have been more pleased. Emilia was the wedding planner and she was excellent. Thank you to everyone at The Ritz for making my son and his wife's wedding perfect. I would highly recommend the Ritz.

    We stayed at the Ritz Carlton, Cleveland the night of our wedding. We had a lovely stay in one of their suites. Devin Manassa was absolutely the epitome of the Ritz Carlton gold standard. He coordinated with our wedding planner and our room was decorated beautifully for our arrival. We have stayed in Ritz locations all over the world and are proud to have one in our hometown. Team members like Devin are the key to a successful Ritz guest experience.

    Elite Marriott member who spends 100+ nights a year as a business and leisure traveler. The property and staff were all top notch. 5/5 recommend. The staff and service really sets this property apart! I specifically want to mention Chelsea Thomas, EAM of Rooms. She was exceptionally accommodating and responsive. Thank you! We visited during a late October weekend. Checkin was a breeze, and staff happily brought us more toiletries, extra towels, etc. Clean, spacious room. Excellent location in close proximity to food and drink (and attached to sporting venues). We will see you again!

    Stayed day after thanksgiving. Bonvoy Plat. Elite member. Its the Ritz Carlton, and their reputation precedes them. Here, they have more then met that expectation. The room was clean, well taken care of, updated to early 2010s standards (No USB, older TVs, but wifi was fast and effective.) I had 2 kids, they were treated well by staff. Bell service was excellent. Valet service was excellent. We had a problem with the bathtub stopper and it was rectified. Excellent service from the guest services agent on the morning of 11/26. She addressed all outstanding issues. I would stay here again and highly recommend it to others.

    Everything about our stay was absolutely perfect! All staff was kind and courteous. Devin made our stay more than I could have ever imagined. The room was really clean, spacious and well appointed. Room service was fast and delicious.

    Terribly rude lady on the phone today that needs to be talked too. She wouldn't even check bother checking to see if early check in was available despite the 700 I was about to spend their. Completely changed my mind about ever giving this place my buisness, a rude and mean spirited place apparently

    I am not one to write reviews, but after having the BEST experience, I have no choice but to. I wanted to stay here for my wife’s birthday, and Joe and Israel took the MOST AMAZING care of us. This was her best birthday gift yet just because of them. Their services. Their kindness. Their hospitality. The hotel is top notch, yes. But when it comes to service, literally the most above and beyond you can ask for. Joe made this happen. He managed our time because we had some time constraints and he fixed it all. Came and introduced himself too. No wonder this hotel is in good hands. It’s ran by an AWESOME person. We were on phone calls for a few days making this work and he did it all. He literally is the best. Israel was the most genuine, kind hearted person ever. The next day she even had wrote a happy birthday card for my wife. Sometimes you know a person is good just from the first impression. Israel’s smile and kindness made our whole trip. It made my wife’s birthday. I have no doubt that customers come back just for Israel. I am one. I will be back, many many times. I’d gladly pay extra if it means I get to deal with amazing people like Joe and Israel, and the rest of the staff there. This hotel really got lucky with those two people specifically.
