Worst hotel ever stayed with Choice hotels. We arrived late by 1 A.M. The lady behind the reception counter was sleeping. When I woke her up for checking in, she was not even waking up. She smiled and went back to sleep again! Had to try THRICE to wake her up!! After waking up, she said no rooms were available.. when we had already booked rooms. She took so long to sign in to the computer and give us our room card. The property is very old and the room door was not even opening. When complained about it in the reception, they told us to try opening the door by lifting the handle up! Had to push hard to open it. Even the bathroom door was old and the knob was loose. The carpets inside the room were giving a wet feeling. Got weird smells from the AC unit. No proper options in breakfast, not even bananas or oatmeal is provided. The oranges kept were very sour. Never staying at Comfort Inn again.

I think the people that work here may be the nicest hotel staff I’ve ever encountered. Clean room and not everything perfect but the staff were nice about every request I had and went out of their way to make my son and I have a comfortable stay. Also a nice hot breakfast. Would return!

I came here due to the fact my apartment caught fire and needed a place to stay after our first hotel, the fact that when we first walked in it gave off a motel feel not an Inn. The smell in the lobby and halls were over powering like if they were trying to hide a smell the room is outdated and small.. our first night was horrible I could not sleep all I could hear were doors slamming people knocking all hours of the morning! Our 5 days there were not comfortable at all . The only good experience we had was in the AM the breakfast and the Spanish woman that works there Daniella she was so nice and very pleasant. I will never go back definitely not for me.

I would rate this hotel a five for cleanliness and the front desk staff were very helpful and friendly. But I encountered a uncomfortable situation when I was getting breakfast. We stayed here for a week with 3 kids, the Spanish lady who prepared the breakfast was discussing to someone else about the amount of food I took. First of all it wasn't that much and it's the same breakfast everyday. But if I rented the hotel room, they say breakfast is included. , it was 5 of us and really I just got enough for 2 people. But the fact that she was whispering behind my back to someone and she assumed I didn't understand Spanish or speak it. That was a real uncomfortable feeling. I didn't like that feeling and I wouldn't recommend no one to stay there. I dont like when people try to make other people feel uncomfortable forno reason.

The front desk guy was nice when we checked in. The first room we were in smelled like cigarettes; mind you, there are signs all over saying no smoking, so we called the front desk, and we were moved to another room. The hotel rooms need to be updated. The bed was very uncomfortable, and every time you moved, the spring would sound. The bed sheets smelled and were not soft a fluffy. The worst part was that at around 3:30am, the phone rang. Saying if we called the Confort Inn. Stay at the Holiday Inn Express. Better quality beds and service!

Very good subs made to order. Generous, weighed portions, fresh ingredients, good bread and choice of white or wheat sub loaves. We were visiting from MIssouri and wanted to find a good sub place so we went into a busy convenience store and asked if s as my one could recommend a very good sub shop. A man immediately recommended Taster Subs and went out of his way to describe menu items and gave us directions. He even offered to show us the way there himself by having us follow him.! We found it ourselves but we’re really glad we followed his suggestion! They really do have absolutely delicious subs! We wish we lived closer because we definitely would be returning again and again!

Excellent service, the management and staff are friendly. Love how they are very accommodating, my husband and I extend our stay due to flights cancelation. Bed was comfortable and the room was clean. Bathroom was nice and clean, the water pressure was too low. Breakfast was okay. Quite at night. The location is also very convenient right off the highway.

Wonderful experience! As a woman staying by myself I felt extremely safe. The moment I walked in I could smell fresh cleaning products. Both ladies at front desk were friendly and sweethearts. Rooms were CLEAN and fresh. Bed was comfortable!! Such a great experience.

It’s not bad kind of Propery. Bed was comfortable and room was clean. They don’t have microwave and Guest Laundry. Wifi worked very well. Near to I95 and lots of Indian restaurants within 5 miles.

How much I can say basic comfort inn with a basic room was clean enough and breakfast. There was a little confusion upon check-in where they were telling you that where I made the reservation I have prepaid so my virtual credit card was declined that was a bit frustrating and I was quite confused at the room differences at check in..no real difference.. it was a decent stay...*** After returning home I am now receiving telemarketing calls from companies that reference my stay and now "I am eligible" for blah blah... this makes me very annoyed..so they sell your info ..beware.

My wife and I travel a great deal around the U.S. and stay primarily at Choice Hotels wherever we go. Being from Pennsylvania, we routinely make excursions into New York City. We found the perfect hotel in Edison, New Jersey, which has become our home away from home. It is the Comfort Inn Edison - New Brunswick. The hotel is conveniently located near the Garden State Parkway, the New Jersey Turnpike, and New Jersey Transit train stations. Staying outside the metropolitan New York City area is cost-effective, and using N.J. Transit to and from the City is easy and affordable. The hotel is one of the cleanest Comfort Inns we have visited. It is surprisingly quiet, given its proximity to U.S. Route 1. Sam, the manager, welcomes you with a big, friendly smile to make your visit the best experience possible.

My only complaints are that rooms don't have a microwave and the bed wasn't super comfortable. I was there for a week so it made it difficult having to go to the lobby every time I wanted a meal and sleeping in an uncomfortable bed for a week straight was tough. Everything else was ok.

My family and I had a great experience at this hotel. The rooms were clean. The room was cleaned by staff every morning of our visit. The complimentary breakfast was also good! Eggs and sausage, cereals, waffles etc. Edison has fantastic Asian food which was a plus. It's also close to the beach (Ocean City etc), which was why we went. Only small issue was the AC was loud, but we just used the constant fan and that worked quietly. We will stay again if in Edison!

We had some initial concerns pulling in to the parking lot as the place looks a little shady. The smell in the front reception area gave a first impression of a hotel trying to overcompensate with smell good stuff, and the area was muggy and warm. Check in was a piece of cake (they allowed us to check in 3 hrs early without making it a big deal), and staff was extremely pleasant. The elevator seemed a bit sketchy, but since the stairs are all the way at the end of the far hallway, I would assume it gets used a lot. The room is exactly what I was expecting - clean, smell free, well stocked with hair dryer, coffee maker, and a pretty large refrigerator (most places have the ones that won't even hold more than a bottle of water). There were already extra towels which was very helpful. Our room was on the 2nd floor right next to the elevator. I expected to hear everything going on in the hallways all night, but didn't hear a peep (we kept the TV on low, so that may have helped). The next morning was great - breakfast was decent, the area was clean, and there were many visitors floating around. The atmosphere was completely different than my first impression. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone reading this.

The check-in process was really straightforward and quick. The person at the counter helped us with all of our questions. The room was well set up and did meet our expectations. We booked a Double double-bed suite and the room had ample space to stow luggages and roam around. My wife was able to spread her yoga mat and do yoga. :) Overall the room and check-in experience was good. Could not have asked for more. The location is also very convenient right off the highway. The breakfast experience was not up to the mark. They offered the breakfast till 9:30 am as per their guidelines. We went at 9am and most of the items were gone. Shelves for Bagels, muffins, bread, fruits, etc were empty. Also the check-in area had some weird smell. Could not figure out what it was but was weird and strong for sure. This area / section could be improved as well.

It's okay. Probably one of the best cheap hotels in New Brunswick. Everywhere was heavily scented with some kind of laundry smell. The building looks quite worn and dated (there were holes in the ceiling with water dripping into buckets and a perilous elevator) but clean enough. As for the beds, the mattress was worn but the pillows were comfy and so were the sheets. Bring earplugs since the highway noise is quite loud, even on the third floor. The fitness room is just a treadmill, elliptical and dumbbells which is fine enough for a casual workout. Breakfast was terrible though (unless you like bad pastries and generic waffles). However, the customer service was nice and the internet worked well. All in all, a decent place to stay if you don't want to spend a lot given the lack of affordable hotels in the area.

Loved the location. The room was clean and cozy but the remote control didn't work. That didn't bother me too much because we were only there to sleep really. The bed was awesome. Very comfortable. The breakfast was great but wish they had more than just pork meat. It's been a while since I've stayed in a hotel but do they no longer have microwaves in the rooms?

Room was clean which is needed especially in these times and I've worked for a five star hotel that could have used the housekeeping from this place
