I've been to Bay Leaf a couple times and each time the food is very good, the staff are nice and helpful and the chai is so good! This time I got the chicken over rice with a veggie samosa and chicken samosa (all are pictured). The chicken is packed with flavor and has a mild-medium heat level and the rice is cooked well, not sticky. The samosas are fresh and I liked the veggie best. The portions are generous, the chicken over rice was split between two of us for lunch and we were full. Service was a little slow,, maybe think about calling ahead to order, but I would definitely recommend and go again!

Bay leaf restaurant allows for customers to use parking lot and nearby lots as a big trash can! Management rarely cleans property surrounding restaurant, when confronted, management says they are not responsible for customers, this place is dirty and rats have come to this area since restaurant opened ,.This is a update., Since I posted these pictures, and had verbal argument with manager(last year) i have to be fair, management of restaurant has placed several trash cans on property, NOW, if restaurant management can convince his customers to use these trash cans he would be doing the neighborhood a favor. Note to restaurant management; it is still your responsibility to empty these trash cans ,and pick up your customers trash! Update 1yr later, Sunday morning 9am pictures the trash just gets worse. The flavor is amazing! The portions are very generous and the meat is flavorful and juicy. I liked the white sauce on top. We got chicken over rice and the street plate.

Most definitely avoid this restaurant even if you are dying for food .. very stupid stuff with "Ghar-tera" attitude like if they are feeding you for free 😜 even the food is disgusting and priced as if they are a Michelin star restaurant 😆 I wish there was a negative star review option bcz I do not wish to give them any not even one star ..

You come here for the food, not the customer service or seating. They serve pretty good food. It’s halal. I recommend everything they’re just good cooks.

Some foods are tasty, others are average. -I dont recommend their Kacchi Biriyani and kala vuna. They dont know how to cook those. -Cha, tehari, beef birani, rupchanda fish are tasty. -Service is not standard. They provide paper cutlery and togo boxes for dine in. - Many items run out quickly -Kept door open and let flies come. - tiny sink to wash hand and unprofessional restroom

You likely wont wanta dine in if You're not Indian, as the standards are Indian, but its obviously well known amongst locals to have authentic Indian dishes that surpass the average. Really good Indian, in Super generous portions. Loved it.

I ordered rice and chicken, fries, beef curry, nun. Rice was almost raw and dry. Environment is too much dirty and there are so many bugs and flies. Their kitchen was very dirty and low hygiene. Overall I can say it was a worst experience.

The food is excellent!! The fish fry melts in your mouth like butter. The portions are huge and there's plenty to take home so ask for a box right away.

We liked the restaurant so much. Because they serve bangladeshi food and desi environment. Most importantly, the food was so delicious but the price is not high. This place we had very bad experience . Don’t choose this resturant. We ordered biryani ,it was so bad smell .not only me my whole family had a complain . We can’t finish that biryani . They just make it hot and sell it . I don’t want others to go there for biryani and if you go you will surely regret.

I went with my family because of Bangladeshi restaurants. Their behaviour are totally unprofessional.They need behavioural training immediately. Their food Price is very high . Food quality is very ordinary. Regarding customer service , they don’t know any customer service things. Also attitude is monopolistic type as there is no Bangladesh i restaurant.

I have been eating here since they first opened. I stop by multiple times a week because it is near my office. This is a great spot for Bangladeshi snacks like potato shingara (samosa) and kebabs.

Hi, I live in one of the highly customer service oriented countries in the world. I have a bit of a negative experience with the U.S. people. But honestly speaking, the " Bay Leaf Restaurant" changed my thoughts, their customer service was outstanding, and the food quality was excellent as well as fresh. I felt like backhome taste. Price was also reasonable. Lot's of parking spaces. When we cross the border, definitely We will visit again. Please keep up the good work. Cheers!

Teast was great and tasty but recently quality going law. taste vary regularly. One day food taste is good another day its worse. Don't know why.

Bay Leaf has great potential. I frequently order out from the restaurant. However, my recent encounter has propelled me to write this review. Recently I went to grab a chai, only to open the lid and find it drowned in oil. I hope they will consider the overall hygienic aspect of their restaurant. Other than that, the wait time and food quality is pretty decent. Price can be little high for some items. The butter chicken and naan is my favorite go to purchase.

I don’t like giving bad reviews at all as it takes away food, but I must warn people to stay safe. This place made my stomach sick for a while and it always happens too. My stomach is really sensitive and usually reacts this way to poor quality or really bad gassy foods only. Guy didn’t even know I had an order for pick-up, saying that I didn’t have one (luckily apps save orders) and then just wanted to get rid of me quickly when someone else came. I’m sorry, but it has to improve customer service and food quality. I have a suspicion it’s not fully sanitary.

I like the fried snacks they usually have. Singara, samosa, piyaju. Also their chicken tikka masala and garlic naan was delicious. My husband got morag pulao and we were confused because it did not come with “pulao” it came with basmati rice mixed with its gravy. Overall it’s a nice restaurant to get food from but very small inside. And can be uncomfortable for female to dine in as it is mostly always group of men inside.
