What
a
find!
Do
yourself
a
favor
and
stay
at
this
unique
hotel.
You
can
observe
and
even
take
lessons
from
traditional
artisans
in
their
workshops
on
the
ground
floor.
The
staff
really
went
above
and
beyond;
they
took
our
kid
to
the
doctor
and
the
pharmacy
AND
made
her
soup
when
she
got
strep
throat.
There's
a
lovely
rooftop,
a
communal
kitchen,
a
courtyard
fountain,
small
museum,
and
little
seating
nooks
scattered
everywhere
throughout
this
lovingly
restored
200-yr-old
property
nestled
within
the
medieval
walled
section
of
the
city.
The
rooms
are
stylish
and
make
for
an
exceedingly
comfortable
stay
(arctic
AC
and
steaming
hot
water,
if
you're
so
inclined,
and
comfy
beds).
PLUS,
you
could
easily
spend
a
whole
week
(or
more)
just
soaking
up
everything
within
walking
distance,
historic
structures,
mosques,
winding
alleyways,
at
least
a
half
a
dozen
different
markets.
Even
the
serene
al-Azhar
Park
is
reachable
on
foot
from
here.
