It is fusion on many asian cuisines… so many flavors come in small portions… able to fill your slack and satisfy your taste bud… quite affordable… an apt choice for occasional dinner… hostess Esmee had been very warm and smiling… wine or tea pairing is a must!

A nice restaurant with a nice concept. Each person gets 3 courses and for each course you could select 2 meals. The meal portions are small but after having 6 portions in 3 courses you definitely get full. We really liked the taste and the presentation of the food. The ginger chicken of the 2nd course was the highlight for us. Service was superb. Everyone were so friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was very vibrant and cosy. We were here for my wife's bday dinner and the staff did not forget to surprise her with a small firework. Can recommend this place without any hesitation.

The food was so delicious and full of different flavour combinations. Once I started eating you just could not hold back. Usually when I eat out with my friends we are always chatting but now we just were silent because of the good food. The cocktail was delicious as well, they don't have a lot of options though.

Went for the Restaurant Week menu, 3 courses composed of 2 small dishes each + dessert. The tea pairing is definitely worth it, each of the choices complement the dishes very well The downside? The salon gets insanely noisy even when half-full. Insanely as in above 80dB noisy (yes, I measured)

Reading the reviews over here you’ll find very mixed opinions and comments. This place is amazing, the ambience is great. The staff received us with a smile and were polite all night long. The food was savory, well cooked. Fresh, good temperature. The sauces were impressive and savory. The duck was well made, even squids (which I hate) were great! I will agree, some little things were mixed up, but I wouldn’t say the service was slow or mediocre. On the contrary, all waiters were polite. They explained in detail, and a gentlemen named Fernando spoke Spanish so we were able to have a more profound conrversation. The other lovely ladies also brought the dishes quick, refilled the glasses with wine and brought new bottles in a good pace. We were not pressured or rushed out. We stayed a total of 2.5 hours here and enjoyed the social dinner of 3 courses (6 mini dishes) + a in between course. I will come again, for sure!

If you are the person who likes to eat varieties in small portions, then this is the place for you. We tried all three sections + in between the menu. It gives you a choice from each section. 3 items from each section, almost 9 dishes. Liked the varieties.

Had Vegetarian fine dining. The ambience was really good. All the tables were full so I recommend reserving at least 3-4 days ahead. Staff was friendly. Food was really good. They could add few more vegetarian options.

Lovely dinner as always. I did get the feeling they are understaffed. That lead of small mistakes during the whole evening. Especially around the drinks. All were solved gracefully but it was a less professional attitude than I was used to from the restaurant. Guess I’ll have to come back and see if this has improved later this year. The food tasted amazing!

Went out to celebrate an occasion. The food was delicious and nicely presented. We had 4 courses. Each course comes with 2 dishes. Each dish is of small size, but we were definitely full at end! You can make your own menu! Definitely recommend!

Between the narrow streets you can eat something Asian, something from a different continent. Tasty, nice and pleasant. Waiter, first class. Each dish is a real feast for the palate. Crazy flavors.

I used to come frequently before Covid, and the place is always a vibe! Beautiful decor and a nice experience of flavors. Although, during the current circumstances with shortage of staff, and new staff still learning, an mistake was made with our order and our course was accidentally delivered to another table, and unfortunately had to wait 45 minutes for each course. Heidi, a sweetheart of a person and a very quick and resourceful thinker, solved the problem for us in no time! Heidi is super sweet and proactive, and made sure to always check on us ever since, and she also offered us a drink for compensation for the long wait. I got my favorite drink which was the signature cocktail called Umami, it’s super delicious and absolutely stunning to look at! The dishes varied in my opinion in tastiness but in overall very recommendable! My favorites were their new veggie gyozas, which was in my opinion a very unique, novel and wonderful take on the traditional gyozas, but still reminiscent of the authentic flavors! I’d absolutely recommend these. Another one of my favorite is the Shang hai PakSoy for the perfection in execution and perfect harmony in flavors! In overall, I really think Umami is worth stopping by if you’re interested in experiencing new flavor combinations and getting inspired in a beautiful interior! Thanks again Heidi! Great tastes. At first selecting two dishes PER PERSON per course (min 3) seemed like way too much but in reality they come rather small and the quantity was just right

Very busy restaurant with an interesting concept and very interesting aroma compositions. It was a great experience - especially the idea of sharing all dishes. Still I can't give the full amount of stars as the time between the first two courses was really long and the friendliness of the service depended strongly on the staff member. Nevertheless: go there and enjoy.
