    Decent hotel, with potential. Rooms were good but lack of water made it worse. We literally ordered room service water bottles to our room each nice, spending around $70 on water for the 7 nights we were here. The fitness area is very basic and not 5 stars. The sauna area was nice, though staff used the locker rooms for changing. The mens area, for example, had staff walking around in towels. Also, you have to request towels/water. Suggestion - add unlimited water and towels in the locker rooms - every guest wants them. We're paying for a 5 star hotel, include the water in the price, don't make us feel like we can't drink water and have to request every bottle, it's ridiculous. Location is good, hotel breakfast is excellent, as is the bar. The lobby area was also quite nice, and most of the staff were friendly. Overall, disappointed after staying here for a week and a lot can be improved with better management.

    One of the worse experiences in hotels. Firstly it is definitely not a 5 star hotel. I would rate it maximum 2 star. I have booked the most premium room they have at the hotel which is the Executive Suite. The room was not cleaned properly, terrible condition, and what is worse, zero sound proof. You could hear noise from outside and up the roof. Furthermore the shower drain was blocked. I have specifically asked for it to be fixed and nothing was done. Same goes for the noise coming from the roof. It was on until 2 am in the morning. The floor towel was not replaced for two days !! Talk about hygiene! My four day vacation in Istanbul turned into an absolute disaster. There's absolutely no sense of costumer service nor costumer satisfaction. When you check out they don't even ask about your stay, I guess because they already know the hotel is a disaster, all they care about is to collect their money. In addition they have claimed I have consumed from the minibar which I did not. I knew right from the beginning when I checked in and they asked for the full payment that I am getting myself into a trap. I would highly recommend to get this hotel re-evaluated as it is definitely not a 5 star hotel I will share this terrible experience with Accor HQ My advise do not come to this hotel

    We've stayed here three times now and it's always been great. The breakfast is one of the best breakfasts you will ever have. The location has changed a lot in the last 5 years and the new port area has sprung up around, that does mean that there's a much more active nightlife and the windows probably need some additional soundproofing to keep the sounds completely out. But this is still in a great location, it's still a quality hotel, the onsite spa is one of the best you'll come across and the breakfast is amazing. But because the area around has improved, the price has also gone up significantly. This used to be a bargain, now it's just getting what you pay for. There are a few small touches that need to be improved (and the price!) but you will enjoy your stay.

    Booked this place for 7 nights and it was a mistake. The service was terrible for the price. Wellness center is absolutely a failure of the hotel, I’ve never seen any 5 star hotel that not provide water, towels and the water they have is for sale. Also the change - shower- locker room is the same room for the staff break area, it was so bad where while I was there - there were always staff showering, changing, talking and watching YouTube, very random and unprofessional. Staff should have their own areas for their breaks not the same as customers.

    Rooms, cleanliness, food is wonderful. Location is great but impacted by lots of construction and bad traffic. Some of the staff need to add smiles on their faces. It was surprising to see that most people do not speak English though it is a five star property chain and handles people from across the world. Enjoyed staying there

    The hotel is great, with excellent location, perfect view and fancy facilities. Rooms are spacious and the view on the roof top restaurant was amazing with delicious breakfast. Food is also great, tasty with big variety. The only remarks I have are: 1. Our room was looking towards the inner hotel square, and the noise when you open the window was awful 2. There was no information about the food (ingredients) on lunch and dinner, so a guest with special diet requirements could easily get confused. The chefs were not speaking English, and those who were speaking English did not bother to find the information.

    Dropped by to have a massage at the spa - such a good move! They luckily could fit me in soon - while pricy still half the cost of the cruise massage. My masseuse Aycan was very experienced and I left feeling great… thanks Novotel

    Very nice stay with friendly staff ( Anil, Yousef). Very clean rooms. The restaurant upstairs needs a better staff. We try to book for a night to eat but it was all booked for the weekend. We recommend to stay

    1. poor quality of room furniture and quality of fittings - surely not the standard expected from a 5 star hotel. 2. difficult to comprehend hotel policy regarding consumption of food and beverages at the "roof-top" hotel - which is only open to serve breakfast and dinner. The roof-top restaurant remains closed systematically during lunch - none of the hotel staff was able to provide me with a reasonable explanation. 3. As a "platinum member of ACCOR hotels" - I would have expected a more special treatment during check-in and during the stay. Some members of the hotel staff very friendly, whereas others did not really care or understand what was happening. 4. Many members of staff do not understand basic instructions in English - which then results in orders being taken incorrectly. 5. A member of the staff working at the hotel, refused to take my order for soft drinks and water - as it was 10:55pm and he was in the process of closing the restaurant. In my opinion, this member of staff should not be working in the hospitality industry - as he certainly needs more training on understanding client needs. 6. COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY in terms of value for money.

    All is amazing, the hotel is clean and the staff is very kind. The location is great, beside Ghalata port which includes alot of restaurant, shops and nice views. The SPA is professional (you must try it). I recommend it.

    I would rate this hotel a 4/5, we had a beautiful experience, the location is fantastic, they were very helpful as we were with a baby. Rooms were super spacious and clean!! Bathroom small but does the job! The only downside was that few maybe 2 3 staff were super rude as u. Ask them for something or about something Room service was amazing everyone on the floor orders food 😅 from how tasty it is. Would come back again!

    Overall experience was great however I would say it’s more a 4 star hotel than a 5 star for now. The spa complete with sauna, steam room, gym and swimming pool was amazing - we would come back just for this. Service at the front desk and porters were very attentive and friendly. The room itself was not great, particularly the inward facing superior queen rooms as there is a regular loud noise coming from possibly the air conditioning unit. It’s worse on the 1st floor so we asked for a change to a higher floor that they gave us. Unfortunately the room had a mattress with a broken spring that was poking into the fabric of the sheet! We asked the reception to change it but they never did so we just lived with it. The restaurant/bar although amazing looking with a great view over the Bosphorus was severely overpriced for what you get as the service was inattentive and not particularly accommodating - if you asked for a non-alcoholic Virgin Mary they wouldn’t make it even though they have tomato juice, lemon, salt, pepper (we don’t mind without the Tabasco and Worcestershire sauce) - my guess is the bar man gets to decide whatever he feels like making.

    The hotel has a very good location, you can reach the historical monuments via the bridge. It is located in the part of the harbor and from the hotel restaurant on the roof there is a beautiful panoramic view of the Bosphorus. The whole hotel was beautifully fragrant with nice staff, everything was ready, we had a nice surprise in the form of a room upgrade. We also tried the lobby restaurant, which has the same menu as room service - the food was tasty and the service was fast. Breakfast is served in the restaurant on the roof - it is a beautiful restaurant that looks like a modern market. The wellness was clean and fragrant. You will find an indoor pool and saunas, which are separated for men and women. We would love to return to this hotel. More on @larmarluxury.

    Excellent hotel with top notch service that many hotels should emulate. Strategically located that connects to any parts of the town. Experienced many hotels around the world with renowned chain, but this one certainly stood out among the top I have experienced. From the doorman to housekeeping to reception to restaurant, great breakfast display and service and excellent dinner with a unique view and food experience all of them living up to the legendary Turkish hospitality. Well done Novotel Istanbul Bosphorius. You could be proud of your achievement .

    For my stay , It was a bad experience , from the first day , I get back to my room the AC was leaking water and my laguage was wet then I called the room service he came and said that already fixed then 1-2 minutes after that the AC leak again . Also, the people who work in reception they are very rude in communicating . The room has a lot of noise sound from the restutlrants and Bars around the Hotel . Regarding the location, it is a good location near galata Port and near Bosphohr . The Breakfast is good and has a lot of variety of food with Good View .

    Definitely not a 5-star hotel. Rooms are ok, not as per an international chain standards expected in a big city, but can be done with. What’s more important is the staff and service that defines a 5-star, the main issue in this hotel I faced is the lack of English as a language, very difficult to convey basic instructions to housekeeping or restaurant staff, they struggle to understand as basic requests as coffee or eggs. The breakfast is average, again not a five star standard but good enough to be qualifying for a four star. Overall, I would prefer to book an alternate hotel in my next visit.

    A great hotel situated near to the main Istanbul tourist attractions. Wonderful staff. Professional, helpful and friendly.Hotel restoran has amazing view! It was lovely to eat breakfast with a view of a peninsula and Bosphor. Nice and peaceful. Great location, fantastic view . Good value for money

    This was a return trip for us, having visited both in 2019 and 2022. The breakfast is exceptional, and would recommend booking into the spa for a treatment. The area around the hotel has vastly improved over the last few years, which whilst it does mean the cost of staying here has increased, there’s plenty to see and do nearby, particularly of an evening.

    Wonderful hotel. Great location. Breakfast was excellent, could add more meat dishes. We stayed on 5th floor and were woken up several times by the restaurant activities on the 6th floor. So better book 4th floor. Downside-Pool was very cold, 26.8 degrees. Impossible to use it with kids. The hotel needs to increse the temperature for the pool to be of use, considering it was November. We did not see other guests using it as well. Room service and staff opened the door with their master key to dilever message, was very inconvenient. Need to work on staff rules.

    The Murver is definitely one of the best restaurants in town. Best food. The octopus was the best I've ever tried and the service from the host Ibrahim was great. He made it a great experience. Good music and great view.

    A big hotel near Bosporus. Room was not too clean for it's price. Breakfast is not very rich, and it's difficult to take whatever you want due to covid restrictions and big crowds after 9 am. Staff is very friendly and polite, but often is not speaking English. Location is very convenient, but nearby area was under reconstruction and rather dirty.

    Ozan IS so professional and accommodating!!!!! Great representation of great service!!! Anil the concierge was so helpful. We were here for six days and he helped us find our way. Naktam was so sweet and kept our room so nice. Novotel feels like home to my sister and myself. WE WILL BE BACK AGAIN. TRAVELERS BE AWARE THAT THE INTERNET IN TURKEY (ALL OVER) IS INCONSISTENT.

    Stayed at the Novotel Bosphorus for 12 nights and can’t wait to go back. Very helpful and friendly staff. Karaköy is brilliant for food, bars, boat trips. Loads to do in instanbul. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. So much choice at breakfast. Brilliant experience.

    Nice hotel in very good location. Walking distance to many attractions. Very well decorated and the restaurant has amazing skyline view of the water channel. Also, in the backsteet of the hotel many restaurants and coffee shops that are well decorated. The only negative aspect, they are doing some civil work in the front street.

    The hotels location is so beautiful, we were able to go anywhere so easily. It is one of the most beautiful places where you can come and stay when I am in Istanbul. All of the personnel were caring and cheerful. Especially the attention of Ms. Noktam did not made us feel out of place at all. We thank you all.

    Great location in Karakoy. We got upgraded to a junior suite, which was really appreciated. The spa and swimming pool were under refurbishment though so could not enjoy them. Otherwise, the cocktails at the Murver, the restaurant on top of the hotel are excellent.

    I loved staying over at Novotel Bosphorus. The reception is very attentive and they always greet you with a big smile. Everyone in the hotel is very friendly. Everything was perfect! Will definitely visit again.

    The hotel is wonderful an all aspects. Locations is great close to everywhere is a a very good choice If I visit Istanbul defiantly I will stay in Novotel On top of all this staff are amazing especially “Yousef” he did something remarkable. I lost something very valuable in the taxi. When I can back to the hotel I told him and I was crying, he calmed me down and promised me to try his best to return it. He make many phone call and he got the way to contact the driver and asked him if he finds it he return it back to the hotel. And he did💜 that was a very very very nice of him to do something he doesn’t need to do but he did it. I really appreciate what he did. And sure he is like this with all guests. I wish him all the luck 🙏

    What an amazing restaurant Ibraham was so knowledgeable about the food choices. The service was great and the free drinks are the end topped it all off. Excellent. Worth a visit when coming to Istanbul. Mr serhat made some fabulous cocktails especially the elderflower one which is named after the restaurant which means elder.

    A very nice hotel in a perfect location. Walking distance to Galataport and many other attractions. The hotel and room was very friendly, cozy and clean. The room has more than enough space with functional fittings and furniture. The staff were helpful right from the start when I checked in and I need an iron, it was delivered to my door in few minutes after I made my request. I thank the housekeeping staff and the manager, Nurcan Ture for their great service. Checking in was easy and fast, very polite, and friendly staff. Dinner at the Murver Restaurant was delicious. The restaurant has a great view of the Bosphorus. The restaurant staff were client-friendly and amazing. I would like to congratulate restaurant manager Mr. Gurkan Ozkan for such a great team a special thank you to him for making the evening unforgettable. Breakfast in the morning was equally remarkable and delicious food. A great view of the Maiden's Tower and of the Golden Horn and the old city of Istanbul. 10 out of 10 to all involved, I'll be back.

    An excellent hotel with excellent services and location. The rooms had a mind-blowing view, the food at the restaurants served scrumptious and authentic Turkish food which you can’t miss for any meal of the day. All staff are extremely friendly, fluent in English, making you feel at ease and comfort. A street away from Galataport which has a lot of cafes and restaurants. Highly recommended to stay there.

    The place and location is super nice. Close to everything. The biggest THANK YOU TO THE STAFF! Guys at the door, bartenders , receptionists, manager, cleaning service, EVERYONE! They are literally the best I’ve experienced so far and I’ve traveled over 40 countries. Extremely nice and helpful. Always smile, always there for you any time. Manager is also super nice and found for us better room with good view in full booking hotel. Really appreciate hard working people 😍. Also restaurant on roof top super nice for breakfast with the best view! We had one regular room( my BF and I) and my parents had a suite at 5 floor. It’s like 2 bedroom with 2 bathroom, two showers and one bath. The best view you can get in the city. Wish we had this type service in Canada or other places in the world. Can’t thank them enough and I wish I can put 10 starts, but 5 is max which is super well deserve! P. S some rooms can be really loud if they face party street in the back, which we got at first but they changed it as I said manager got us way better room, big thank you to him, as hotel was fully booked. Worked some magic I guess. Big big thanks to them again. I would def recommend it to anyone. We will be back!

    Great location, great staff, fabulous breakfast buffet. Catered for wheelchair users very well so my friend was looked after. Only negative I would say is that the rooftop bar allows smoking but this is not uncommon in the area.

    A lovely clean hotel, rooms were comfortable. Excellent customer service at reception, very helpful. Breakfast was delicious, could not fault anything , Ridwan was always very attentive in the restaurant. Had a hammam used the pool , sauna and steam at the hotel and it was amazing! Great location, close to the harbour, restaurants, shops, ferry and trams. Would definitely recommend and stay here again Exceeds 5 stars 👍

    Being located next to a river, this hotel is situated on a really happening street. There are plenty of places of interest within walking distance from the hotel. With basement parking, we had no trouble parking our convoy of vehicles in this hotel. The rooms are also really good and the staff is supportive.

    I stayed there with my family this summer for 3 days. Yes, the hotel has a nice restaurant on the top with a good view. Otherwise, the personnel on reception and in a restaurant seemed quite rude. We were promised an extended check-out for two of our rooms, and suddenly they changed their mind at the last moment before paying. Not recommended!
