👍👍 The experience was more than wonderful. The desserts were very tasty. The baklava tasted more than wonderful. The filling was excellent. Also try the charcoal konafa, which still tastes delicious in my mouth. Its prices are good compared to others. I advise everyone to try it if they get the chance. People often mention baklava, good, nefe, Turkish, cream, kunefe,

Our tour guide highly recommended Safa to try an authentic Turkish dessert called Kunefe. I ordered the Kunefe with ice cream and it was a super sweet pancake style dense cake. The ice cream balanced out the sweetness. The coffee and tea at Safa was also pretty good!

We came here after seeing them cook the Künefe on the street. They have a room with seating upstairs. We really enjoyed the Künefe with ice cream and tea!

I bought my lokum (Turkish Delight) from this popular cafe chain to bring back home. It came in a nice tin and the price was reasonable for the area. It's a busy place so the order taker can be a bit abrupt. I wanted an assortment and he kept asking me what I wanted. After a couple attempts he realized to just throw a bit of everything in the tin. Taste and quality were very good compared to the basic pre-packaged varieties. Next time I'll also get my baklava assortment from here, because at the cheap shop I went to everything looked different but tasted the same with few signs of pistachios. Here the baklava looked much higher quality.

We tried 3 different kind of baklava, honestly can't say which one was better. They were all delicious and melting in our mouth. I personally don't like sweets with extreme amount of sugar, these baklava were just sweet enough despite the fact I rushed to order more than what we should've consumed (were too excited after seeing fresh ones on rows of trays), it never felt that I'm eating too much (which might not be a good thing for my health but it's not like I come to Istanbul every week).

Went here because of endless youtube recommendations and definetly did not disapoint . The baklava might taster strong and thats because its made with ghee and not butter but the kunefe was just perfect

Amazing deserts, the kunefe was delightful. The baklava with dondurma, oh my, so delicious. One thing that I disliked was that the waiter came 15 minutes after we arrived to take our order and it’s not like it was full, we were the only ones. Another good thing is that they don’t lie about the prices like on some other places. The prices are exactly the same like in the menu. So it’s definitely worth visiting.

One of my favorite spots to get fresh baklava. This is right outside of the spice market. They have a kunefe stand which is great. They also have a second and third floor where you can sit and eat some desserts with Turkish Coffee or Tea. I love bringing their baklava back home to the US, they have a sealing machine to ensure freshness and that the product won't get out of the box. The baklava once sealed will last for 7 days. This place feels very authentic and cozy despite it being right inside the market area; workers are really nice as well. There is a restroom as well on their top floor. Totally recommend.

Stopped in for some chai and tried a few different items. Everything was good, not sure exactly what we had though as we don't speak Turkish :) but enjoyed the busy ambiance as many stopped in to buy Nye treats. Not too sweet which we appreciated!

Best kunefe and katmer in town…not that I know much about them. It’s also fun to watch the gentleman making the kunefe at the storefront, people watch (especially all those people with plastic surgeries, lip fillers, nose jobs, etc meandering in the market as you enjoy a couple of these great treats with Turkish coffee. Would definitely recommend!

While waiting for the line at Kurukahveci Mehmet Efendi to shorten, we ducked in here for Künefe & Kahve. Cozy upstairs, delicious snack, reasonable prices.

I was really curious about künefe and my first one was delightful, well balanced between honey sweetness and cheese savouriness. The day after i tried something else because, you know. They have a room upstairs but my fav spot is downstairs , sipping tea and watching Istanbul living

They said that is the best place to eat the kunafe but I found it ok. However, the service is fast, the prices affordable, the people very professional & kind.
