(Translated by Google) An open-air modern art museum. It is built on a huge land with its library, activity areas and various museum areas. It is a great place that appeals to people of all ages and you can spend time with your family all day long! Entrance is free. The science museum, the cartoon museum and the climate museum are open until 18:00 in the evening. The library, located in this complex, is open between 09:00 and 21:00. After visiting the museums, you can wander around the garden and stop by the Beltur ice cream parlor.

(Translated by Google) While catching the fine jokes in the caricatures of the old caricaturists in the cartoon exhibition, you can draw on the white board along 1 wall. You can read your book in the cozy reading area on the upper floor of the library or by renting it at your home, and you can request the books you want to be included in 153 by informing them. In the climate museum, you can catch the awareness of taking action while examining the causes of weather changes and their effects on the world. You can experience energy production methods with a guide at the science center. If you are hungry, you can fill your stomach by having breakfast or a meal at Beltur's restaurant, and if you want to cool off, you can taste delicious ice creams with the names of Istanbul districts. It is an area that you can experience with your children, spread over a wide area. (Original) Karikatür sergisinde eski karitkatüristlerin karikatürlerindeki ince esprileri yakalarken 1 duvar boyunca bulunan beyaz tahtaya sizler de çizimlerinizi yapabilirsiniz. Kitabinizi ister kütüphanenin üst katındaki samimi okuma alanında ister kiralayarak evinizde okuyabilir, yer almasını istediğiniz kitapları 153 e bildirerek talepte bulunabilirsiniz. İklim müzesin de hava değişimlerinin sebeplerini ve dünyaya etkisini incelerken harekete geçme farkındalığını yakalabilirsiniz. Bilim merkezinde enerji uretim yöntemlerini rehber eşliğinde deneyimleyebilirsiniz. Acıktıysanız Beltur'un restoranında kahvaltı veya yemek yiyerek karnınızı doyurabilir, serinlemek isterseniz İstanbul ilçelerinden oluşan isimleriyle leziz dondurmaların tadına bakabilirsiniz. Geniş bir alana yayılmış çocuklarınızla deneyimleyebileceginiz bir alan.

Loved the place. I didn’t check the museums inside yet, but the outdoor setup is so cool and welcoming. Perfect place to hang out. The latte in local cafe is delicious. I’ll be back :)

Found out that the architecture was an example of Ottoman industrial architecture which was very cool... It's a wonderful museum area with shops and cafes. There weren’t a lot of exhibitions when we visited but I think soon there will be. The science museum was interesting.

I had an amazing experience visiting Müze Gazhane in Istanbul. This unique museum holds a fascinating history, as it was originally founded in the late nineteenth century to provide energy for the Anatolian side of Istanbul. After its closure in 1993, the power plant underwent extensive restoration by the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality and was transformed into a museum and community space in 2021. Located in the heart of the Kadıköy neighborhood, Müze Gazhane offers much more than just a traditional museum experience. It has become a vibrant hub for the community, providing young people with stages, libraries, and working spaces. The museum also hosts various exhibitions and events that are open 24 hours a day, creating a lively and dynamic atmosphere. One of the highlights of my visit was spending time in the museum's garden, where I had the pleasure of interacting with the resident cats. It was a serene and relaxing spot to unwind and enjoy the surroundings. Also the interesting kids museum was nice. As I left Müze Gazhane and explored the neighboring streets towards Söğütlüçeşme Train Station or the Yeldeğirmeni neighborhood, I was captivated by the charm and liveliness of the area. The narrow streets were filled with a vibrant energy, and it felt as though everything was stacked on top of each other. The bustling neighborhood buzzed with noise, adding to the unique and authentic experience of exploring the area.

It looks like almost nothing to see. I don’t know what good reviews about, there are no exhibitions, there is nothing but few buildings.

If you happen to be in the area, it’s a lovely space to sit and have a coffee. Locals seem to walk their dogs, there, and there was a school trip, with excited little kids enjoying the chance to run around. As a museum, though, it wouldn’t be one I’d return to.

The museum required no tickets for entrance, nearby the entrance is a room with many interactive games meant to teach kids about energy production. The beltur restaurant there was average, the food was above average but the wait times were kinda long.

There were many activities to try, it had its on ice cream and burger place. There was also a bazaar between a walkway. I also noticed that there was an auction house that occurred behind a building. It was super fun to be there, you should definitely check it out!

It is an amazing location where you find both delicious and affordable food options in the restaurant and cafe within the facility. You can enjoy art galleries, energy museum, weekly free concerts and workshops. It has a wide study hall and a library that has well equipped air conditioning opportunity. I would definitely recommend it to people looking for remote work locations.

I went over there for a photo exhibition yesterday. The atmosphere is beautiful and a very big place with some different halls for presenting the artist's works. But the only problem was that there was no guidance for visitors. It shall be improved more and better.

Parking lot not clearly signalled at the entrance - one has to drive to the back to enter the closed parking lot. Interiors of the (free entry) exhibition areas are not air conditioned. There is no surveillance at the exhibition areas one child harmed one of the art works exhibited at the Hayat exhibition and ran away with his mother we fixed the art work after them on our own. I am sure the artist Zeki Demikubuz would be sad to see the negligence.

Lots of valuable info. regarding climate change. But you have to be able to survive the toxic chemical smell to read it. I could only do a quick walk-through of the first floor of 2 of the buildings. My head and nostrils were ready to explode, and I started feeling queasy. It was disappointing.

This really is one of the most interesting places I've visited in Istanbul. I really enjoyed my time here and would gladly attend almost any exhibition or function they host just to have access to the grounds. Any excuse you see to go here - take it!

I assume it is very nice place , I couldn't go to all the areas inside cause I had to study but they have a perfect area for studying I would like to say thank you for everyone who contributed to make such a great place! But the reason why I gave it 3 stars is because of Internet connection, the internet was not working or at least for me I tried my best to access and i had to register with my phone number for more than 8 times , but still couldn't enter. Wish you will solve this problem , then It will directly deserve 5 Stars!!

Historical coal-gas plant buildings from 19th century; re-purposed as two museums, an art gallery, a library, a restaurant, a cafe, an ice cream parlor, and a large plaza. The entire campus is well designed. Food and service are adequate. Car park entrance is on Uhuvvet Sk.
