We stayed nearby in a Roompot house. Came across it on the internet, put on walking shoes and go. Beautiful route through the forest and with the autumn colors absolutely fantastic. Even spotted a wild boar (no photo).

Beautifully varied landscape, beautiful short route, also suitable for children. The path continues through a piece of forest, a wet open section via a boardwalk, forest back to the parking lot. Not too long but just right. A good viewer can learn a lot. Walked another round today March 24, 2019, still beautiful! Saw many frogs that were very busy caring for offspring 😉

Near Epe, Tongeren Estate. Beautiful place for a special walk. Accessible, good parking, passable, neatly marked. And if you look around you you see a lot.

A short distance from the camping area along the dense paths between the campsites and forests... beauty. So we do everything on foot, the locals mainly on bikes 😀. Very nice fens, heathers, wetlands... you wouldn't expect it. The amount of blueberries in the woods got us, but no mushrooms 😉.

Beautiful nature. In May and June you will hear croaking concerts of frogs 🐸, beautiful! You also see them and many dragonflies. Various walks have been set out.

Very nice walking in this area. Tongeren heath is very beautiful, many streams, heath, some hills. Enough rest areas, benches, restaurants, etc.

Very beautiful part of the Netherlands. Peace, space and light combined with beautiful nature.
