Always like coming here, especially after the upgrade that makes it even more inviting. There is a new playground that has all the usual popular items plus a few interesting new ideas like the table tennis table that is set a little lower for kids. There is a swing for the disabled as well. A new covered barbeque area, plenty of seating and a water fountain for drinking plus at the base a spot for water for your furry friends. There are plenty of ducks around the area, often with their ducklings so be careful. There are nice shady areas to have a picnic under and you can access both sides of the lake via a bridge. Note that the City of Whittlesea has put a sign up at the lake (well pond really) to say that the lake is currently experiencing water contamination, but also to not handle any ill or dead water birds. It also discourages people from feeding the ducks. But also that the Council is 'continuing to restore water quality'. The 564 bus drops you right at the park so it has easy access. Wheelchair friendly. Good on streeet parking around the park.

Very scenic small parklands with good sized lakes. Playground is larger than most and has some good variety in it's options. Plenty of seating and the pathways are wide and solid and let you loop around to where you started. Bus stops close by. There are a lot of ducks as well.

Great park to walk around. The walkways are unsealed and may cause a slip hazzard. The bridge has lips on each side that can trip one up. Has stable wood sealed lookouts for your pleasure. There is a BBQ and two sets of tables and chairs to sit down for a picnic. Play equipment is in great condition and also has a ping pong table for a game or two.

Clean playground. There's also shelter with tables and benches.

This playground is not bad, but it is pretty average in terms of size and play areas. The whole area is quite small (~10-15 minutes to go around the whole place). The biggest downside is the absence of toilet around the place. With kids, this is an important factor. Also there is no clearly marked parking. So I had to to do a circle around to realise that few pockets is the only parking option

Unique local suburban park; includes an outdoor gym and even a table tennis table (bring your own ping pong balls and bats). The council does seem a bit obsessed with rejuvenating this area as every time I come here (which is like maybe once a year), the area changes and there is renewed outdoor equipment.

Nice park good for the younger kids... There shuld be something more for the older kids in my opinion.... something like a small basketball ball area or something... Its generally a clean park till today when some people came here to have there kids birthday party witch is great thing to see in our park... The most disappointing thing happened was They were to (LAZY TO CLEAN UP THERE RUBBISH) they left rubbish all over the play ground.. they couldn't be bothered to spend a few minutes to clean it up the way they found it. Im sure they were from another area Filthy PIGS I say...🀬🀬

Nice quiet park with a cute lake. We wish it had parking and toilets.

Cute park. Its been renod recently. The lake is a bit questionable..kinda like a mini yarra river in colour and weird foam...dont drink the water.. Ive seen locals try to fish in there lol. They should build a bmx or skate park in there as theres plenty of wasted space. There appears to also just finished an outdoor gym in the old playground spot which is good for us fat dads
