Fitzroy Gardens is the most favourite and best place to refresh your mind and enjoy. There are lots of things to do in these Gardens. I like The mini city and near the city there is a fairly tree. The play ground is so beautiful for kids. You can walk around the Gardens and enjoy the amazing views in the centre of the city. There are lots of fountains and small areas of water. I advise you to visit this beautiful place and enjoy it.

Fitzroy Gardens is a beautiful park located in the heart of Melbourne. It is a great place to take a leisurely stroll and experience the peaceful atmosphere and stunning landscaping. The gardens feature a variety of trees and plants, as well as a number of monuments and statues, making it a great spot to explore and learn more about the history of the area. The gardens also have a café, so you can enjoy a bite to eat while admiring the surroundings. I highly recommend visiting Fitzroy Gardens if you are looking for a peaceful and serene place to relax and enjoy nature.

This garden is wonderful to chill with family, friends, or yourself! It’s surrounded by greens and has some historical cottage houses. There’s also a flower house where you can see a lot of amazing plants! Good for photos, the room is very heated, and the worker there is friendly as well. It’s also a nice place for children indeed, as there are tiny cottage houses and “fairies” on the tree. Very cute. The garden is not too big where you get lost like in the botanical garden, but it’s also not small, and it’s next to another garden called the treasure garden, so you can also check that out! All in all, I love Fitzroy gardens.

A gorgeous and beautiful garden. The garden size is about the right. Not too big not too small. A great place with family and friends. I really enjoyed my time here.

This garden is one of the best designed and well maintained for the space it covers. To have this so close to the CBD is just a blessing. Unlike the botanical gardens, you don't have to walk kilometres to experience an abundance of flowers with popful of bright colours, amazing sculptures like the model Tudor Village and fairy tree, find hidden private spaces for serenity like the mound and pond or the stream and fern gully, transport yourself into more bursts of colours at the conservatory, find plentiful picnic areas, or just have a pleasant walk through, all in one not so compact area. It's so cleverly designed that every area of interest feels like it's the star in its own space yet you could just walk a little further to be pulled into another completely different space. There are sections of the garden that's bookable for private events incl weddings for a reasonable fee. Cafe available on site. Public toilets available. Parking is available but high in demand i.e public transport advised.

Fitzroy Gardens are absolutely stunning all year around. It is well maintained, with lots of different plants trees and beautiful flowers. The expansive grassy areas are suitable for picnics, working out, and chilling out. There is a large network of pathways suitable for people of all ages and fitness levels. The garden is highly recommended for family portraits, engagements photography and even wedding photography in particular if you are planning a small wedding ceremony.

So nice to be here during winter time. Love the colours on the trees, The nice fresh air and the cool breeze. Big Park in the heart of the city of Melbourne, a great place for a walk and shake the stress out of yourself disconnecting you for a good moment from the busy streets of downtown.

A magnificent green gem at the border of city blocks. We took a leisurely walk on a sunny Spring day when the rain went away and visited The Conservatory and plants, fairy tree, mini Tudor village, dolphin fountain and park spaces. There are very pretty flowers within and around the conservatory. There's limited metered parking around the park if you are visiting by car.

One of the best gardens in the city. Although the weather was not good, but we managed to walk around and see decent spots around the area. Each section has specific features, so you won't feels bored. On the contrary, you keep going to discover new things ✨️.

Discovered this park a few days ago while exploring the city with a friend. Compared to Flagstaff and Carlton gardens, this place seems not as busy and there are few interesting this to do such as the conservatory and cook’s cottage. Definitely worth a stroll or a walk with your dog!

Because it was the beginning of summer, there were plenty of leaves on the trees and it was convenient to walk around easily and comfortable. The garden was very well maintained, organized and had a variety of flowers and plants. I felt like I was somewhere in the East Asia like Japan or China. As the Fitzroy Garden was so beautiful, I also saw newlyweds taking wedding photos.

Nice, big, spacious park filled with trees and plenty of shade and sunbathing spots. This park is vast and near public transport. Go to read a book under a tree, have a picnic with friends, or let your kid run around for hours. There’s a playground which is more suited for older small children (like age 5 and up), a couple of nice fountain, and lots of paths.

Located not in Fitzroy, these surprisingly hilly gardens are a beautiful escape from the concrete jungle of the CBD. Enjoy fountains, well laid out lines of trees, the fairy tree, capatin Cook's cottage and more.

Beautiful park this time of the year, in spring flowers start to bloom. Fitzroy gardens is a nice respite from the hustle and bustle of the city. It is also an excellent walk to get from the cafe at fitzroy to the federation square area. It had a nice display of flowers in the middle park area.

Fitzroy Gardens, Treasury Gardens and Yarra Park make up a spectacular trio of connected parks to the east of central Melbourne. Fitzroy Gardens is beautifully designed and maintained. There aren't many better places to relax close to the city.

Close to Melbourne City (CBD) is Fitzroy Gardens, one of the most beautiful and historic gardens in Melbourne. This has a variety of flowers, ornamental shrubs and old houses that form an ideal landscape to visit. If you like calm and relaxed plans (yoga, meditation, reading, hiking, picnic with friends) and if you love natural spaces, then Fitzroy Gardens is perfect because it has, among other things, the Fairy Tree, the Tudor model village, sculptures and fountains. Note: If you go at night you will see some possums walking freely. Words related to this place: Gardens, history, outdoor activities, sports, walks, nature, landscape.

If you want to go to a quite and serene place within the city then this it. Ample greenery with ponds, colourful flowers, old big trees, various pathways to walk in the gardens. Good place for photography as well. Moreover there’s a public toilet as well which is very clean. I hope you enjoy as I did

Melbourne has many marvellous parks and gardens and Fitzroy is no exception. It is beautifully maintained wth intersecting paths and toilets within easy reach.. Captain Cooks Cottage makes for good photos, and the tea rooms(try the excellent coffee,) are near lovely areas for a family gathering.

Instead of going here I would suggest to go raoyal botanical gardens.. In fitzroy u can't even find a single flower. No chairs under shades. There is a place called cook's cottage we should buy a ticket to see whats inside the kitchen. And one cannot enter into that fairy village..🤷‍♀️

Really nice gardens with true four seasons look. I am gladful for council keeping it this way instead of converting every pieces of land with native gum tree. I do understand they are native but I believe they more belong in bushland setting, they are utterly sad and dull to see in city setting with no colour change in four seasons and their leaves colours and shapes is far from uplifting.

Melbourne does not have a shortage of gardens and Fitzroy has to be one of the prettiest with a variety of spaces ranging from wide open patches of lawn to intimate lush tropical vegetaion with a meandering path and stream, some heritage structures and a conservatory, it's lively on a sunny day and one can enjoy the perennials during late winter/Spring.

A big park near the city to relax. There is a small pond with ducks. If you plan to picnic and eat, just watch out for the ducks as they’d want a share as well. The flowers in the park are beautiful and hence make for many photo opportunities. A cafe is located inside the park that makes good coffee. We’d definitely visit again. Parking around the park is a challenge, but there are many public transport options. Thanks.
