Temple where Lord Siva and Parvati worships. Idols placed in such a way that godess Parvati faces east direction and lord Siva on West in a single sreekovil. Temple owned by Vishwa Hindu Parishad. Unlike in other temples, men's don't want to take of their shirts. Lord Ganpati, Ayyappa, Subramanya, Chamundeshwari, Dakshinamoorti and Serpents were also worshipped as sub idols. Very Calm Place Situated at the Heart of the City, Kaloor.

The temple is so serene n peaceful right in the heart of the city. Always can get a glance of Devi even while passing through the road.. But praying to Mahadeva is even more calming... we get a lot of positive energy while sitting on the Aalthara. The temple is big with small installation of other deities like Ganapati, Ayyappan, Murugan, Chamundeshwari, Dakshinamoorthy, Nagas.etc. Temple has enough parking facility on a normal day. But on busy days it might be difficult as street parking is impossible there.

One of the temples of lord Shiva in the district of Ernakulam. A temple with a special architectural built with idols placed in opposite entrances against each other ( God Shiva and Godess Shakth ) just like Ardhanaareeshwarar ( Half Shiva and half Shakthi ). There are also two main entrances for the temple. There is even parking space, an auditorium, Goshala in the temple...

The temple maintained by viswa Hindu parishad not by devaswam board. The difference is clear. Traditional poojas and offerings. Not to make treasury money. Lord Shiva is the main diety

I had the pleasure of visiting Pavakulam Mahadeva Temple near Kaloor Junction, and it was truly a remarkable experience. The main deity, Lord Shiva, exudes a divine presence that fills the air with spirituality. The temple's beauty is captivating, and the serene atmosphere enhances the sense of tranquility. It's a place where you can connect with the divine and find inner peace. Highly recommend a visit!

Lord Shiva in all His glory along with Lords Ganapathy, Ayyappa, Subramanya and Godess Kaali. Pristinely kept teme premises. Has all the old world charm minus the need of taking off the shirt. Can wear any clothes as long as they are decent. The rituals are carried out devoutly. We come out of the temple with inner peace restored. Om Namashivaaya.

Extremely peaceful and refreshing place to go. However you have to go before 11 am. There is a big tree in front of the temple which has thousands of birds chirping along . It's a beautiful sight. One person there was very generous and gave us the prasadam ( pais) which was extremely tasty. Overall a great place to sit and relax and for some peaceful time. If you are going here , do keep in mind the dress-code

A divine place where you can enter in any dress you wear. Mens don't need to remove the shirt n jeans are also allowed. They do all the poojas, archanas, homams etc in a way how it is to be done... So you get 100% satisfaction for your archana/pooja.. If you make receipt, the things mentioned will be done as it is supposed to be... Such temples are rare!!! Also you have ample parking space, a small outlet where you get good books and bracelets. There is annadanam on a daily basis in lunch time... A very pleasent temple to be visited!! Peace✌🏻
